impound don't last weeks

I have been told cars/bikes stay in impound for weeks. I would have to disagree I had a hexor in there. It was gone in about 1 week aprox. Is there an specific time or is it random? Keeping your impound full of RH8 not a good idea. What if your Z-type gets abandoned then your out 10 mill just a suggestion there
