sagsf420 Posted October 27, 2013 Share Posted October 27, 2013 First off some of the little "features" R* added to make the game "seem more alive" are actually extremely annoying. 1. It's starting to seem like I can't drive ANYWHERE in peace without some asshole chasing me and shooting at me for no apparent reason and if you're not prepared your dead, 5000 bucks down the drain and your car that you spent loads of money on GONE that's always really nice. Common with Trevor and bikers. 2. These little "random cop chases" were cool maybe the first time I saw one then they just started happening every 5 seconds and the cops would keep driving into me and of course completely forget about the armed and dangerous felon or whoever he is and start chasing after ME and trying to murder me because HE hit ME I mean come on really? "Smarter police ai"? Cop ai is no "smarter" than before just a hell of a lot more annoying I actually preferred the "random chases" in IV they were much more realistic the cops would actually arrest the suspect unless he pulled a gun instead of just murderung them, which brings me to 2b, peds calling the cops on me for NO REASON WHATSOEVER, it's a problem that needs to be fixed ASAP. 3. Finally there seems to be quite a few things R* seems to overthought like parking spaces around hangars/helipads/docks, it's somewhat annoying how you have to abandon your car to switch to a plane come back later to park the plane and have to walk all the way across los sandos international airport because your car that you put millions into dissapeared yes there's the odd airport tug or truck lying around but I want MY car. Overall this is an amazing game but there is deffinately things about it that need to be addressed if you can think of anything else I'd love to hear. sqre 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Personally, I don't think there's enough random people/gangs going after the protagonists while free roaming. I've been hoping that R* could eventually find a balance with the gangs attacking you like they did in GTA 3 (which sort of limited your movements around the city) and them not attacking you unless provoked. I'm not sure what they could do really. 2. I think I've had this happen to me once since release day. I usually just pull over so I don't accidentally bump into them. I can see it being annoying if it happened all the time, but like I said, hasn't happened to me that often. I do agree that the A.I. is still pretty dumb. 3. Red XIII Posted October 27, 2013 Share Posted October 27, 2013 The only thing I really hate about cops is that in the country side a police car spawns directly ahead of you every 5 seconds, you cant have a decent chase on some dirt road because a police car will spawn and hit you head on. Yeah, they should do the seatbelt thing like the helmets...if you don't move for a little bit after getting into the car, the character should put the belt on. No, drive carefully or wait until the police stop and shoot at the perp. 3. Happened in every previous GTA game, so why would this one be any different? In reality the impound lot in LA is pretty large fitting a bunch of vehicles. And the last car you steel and abandon gets sent there. What they should have done is have a register car option for cars that you would want to retreave from the impound at L.S customs shops. Slightly Off topic is a bug that seems to be reoccurring at the LS golf course parking lot. After a game of golf my car is frequently replaced with the golf cart thus making me loose that car permanently. And they never gave story mode customizable license plate numbers instead of stupid license plate colors something I was pretty pissed off about (I don't play online I think it's overrated) I hope Retarted Star fixes these bugs and gives the features we want in STORY MODE as well as online in the next update. But they are probably just going to ignore their fans as usual. They better not rush GTA 6 and f**ck it up royal like 5. Don't get me wrong I like 5 allot better than 4 but it could have been a LOT better if they took more time on it. The police wouldn't be sending choppers after an airplane after it takes off if they were going for realism. Loved it for offering so much, but hate to see it's given too much importance. GTA V would've been much better as Single-Player only, and keeping multiplayer limited rather vibrant. GTA can still remain with possibilities to offer much better experience for OFFLINE gaming. It appears developers are gearing up clearly with lots of ideas, in the pipeline for ONLINE (till they speak something major for sp). First problem with the hangar is your aircraft is off to the side instead of being at the center so you can't store larger aircraft like the Titan. Another problem with the hangar is the fact that an aircraft you save is removed from the list when you selected an aircraft you bought from the website. And why the hell does Trevor get that small hangar in Blane county instead of having an option to buy a larger one at the airport. He is an almost airforce pilot so he should have been able to buy one of the large hangars at the airport. Now Trevor can't buy a private jet.
