Epicness or Lag? You decide!

Right now I am in the process of joining random lobbies and driving to the tennis courts looking for a Tailgater.. I am driving around my fully upgraded Pegassi Monroe, including 100% armor. As you all know this car has the rear window louvers, which act the same as the bullet-proof windows on the Police Transport Van, meaning the Monroe more or less has three windows.

 

Well, I was sitting in the parking lot at the beach behind the tennis courts, taking my time because no one was near me on the map... when suddenly I hear a plane overhead. I immediately think "okay there's always planes taking off from the airport right next to me all the time.." when I notice a player getting closer to me on the radar. I start trying to move right away so I pull forward maybe 10 feet but the plane still hits me on impact, nose to nose. The plane explodes, the other player dies, all I can think is motherf*cker!

 

Only thing is, I am completely unscathed.. The car is damaged, sure, the front bumper and fender are bent in, but no smoke, no flames, no stuck wheel.. Drives just fine. The other player respawns next to the other parking lot nearby with no vehicles in it and I burn rubba, bur-burn rubba to take him out with a drive-by for trying to destroy my girl before I proceed to find a new session.

 

How was that possible? Other cars in the parking lot around me exploded, but I was basically undamaged.. Was that lag or just my epic Monroe?

Also, wheels can't lock in multiplayer, trust me, I've tried.
