How long does it take for Bad Sport points to burn off?

OK, so I got a bounty on me yesterday, and it was the usual story - blew up a couple attackers, got Bad Sport warnings, yaddayadda. This issue has come up time and time again, so I don't think I need to get into it.

 

My question is: how long do these Bad Sport points last? I haven't been kicked to the Bad Sport server yet, but I did get a pop up saying that I was going to be penalized if I blew up any more cars. So, is there a quota or something? Like, if I wait a day, will I be allowed to blow up another car? Or is it no strikes from now on - the very next time I blow up an attacking car, be it a day, a week, or even a month from now, I'll be punted to Bad Sport purgatory?

 

P.S. f*ck the Bad Sport system. It's a nice idea gone horribly, horribly wrong, thanks to pisspoor planning and execution.

Bad sport is amazing, you get a sexy hat, and put in servers the way GTA is meant to be played ;D

I'd be fine with the servers, but I don't want to be forced to wear the hat. The hat is just asinine; it's like this perfect illustration of how patronizing and lame Rockstar has become..

 

I mean, a dunce cap? Really? That's how Rockstar sees this whole situation. It sees us as a pack of naughty children, and sees itself as a grade school teacher, whose duty is to monitor the playground and dole out punishments to any kid who gets a bit too loud or plays too rough.

I've been on the Bad sport servers once but it was intentional. I had to blow up like 30 cars before I got the Dunce Hat. If you blow up less than 3 per day, you should be fine.

30? I only blew up 1 car (and before I received many good sport bonusses), go figure,

I rocked the bad sport whilst in it. White shirt tucked, white trousers & cream oxfords. Making that sh*t stylish! My alternative bad sport outfit is topless with just the tiny white running shorts on, and socks and sandals. Perfect.

 

Haha its a bit f*cked up but when theres two of ya in a convertible it kinda looks like two ku klux klan members rolling along
