AgentLemon
Hey, I recently called my mechanic and requested my Vacca Super that I paid $240,000 for but instead he brought me my Ocelot F620 which i got when i was new to the game... I thought nothing of it when it happened, maybe i had clicked the wrong car. Later on I requested my vacca and again he brought me the Ocelot F620. This time I knew something was wrong so I drove back to my garage to find the ocelot F620 in my garage twice.. So somehow my Vacca has been replaced with a duplicate of my original Ocelot F620... I logged out and then restarted the game and all i have now is two Ocelot F620's I have lost the really expenssive car i spent hours saving up for. Has anyone else experienced this bug? Is there any way i can get my good car back?
Chao§pawN
I fear you've pretty much said it all yourself. Yet another annoying bug, not much you can do about it. I'd send a ticket to support asking to restore your car since it probably won't reappear by itself. That is assuming you've done the logical things like restarting the game. Also, don't buy a vacca unless you have too much money, compared to the other super cars it's pretty slow if I'm correct.
AgentLemon
I contacted the support and they just told me to wait for the stimulus money I don't even want the stimulus, i think the whole thing is a bad idea but whatever. I did restart my system and all that but it's well and truly gone. Idk too much about the performance, i loved the way it handled and the way it looked. GG7
They seem to be unable to fix any of the numerous problems with cars in this game. While I have not really had too many problems with the ONLINE side in this regard, I have lost two very expensive and modified custom cars in the single player mission. All I did was use them to go to a mission, and when I completed the mission, the car was gone and it never reappeared. Last one I lost over a week ago and it and the first one have never come back. I don't use anything but default cars or Taxicabs to get around now because any custom car you use is likely to vanish if you die, or hit any kind of cut scene while using it. Complete and total BS! What's worse is when I wrote to RockStar about the problem, all they responded with was a copy and paste of the Microsoft troubleshooting instructions! Anyone who has owned a 360 for more than a year or two knows that a problem like this is not going to be fixed by any of that! I found it offensive that they would have me waste my time doing all the following when they know full well it won't make the slightest bit of difference! I seriously doubt this Brian character even bothered to read my original report before hitting the copy and paste! If this stuff is handled at all like bugs were addressed in Red Dead Redemption, we are in for a VERY long and buggy 6 months at least! Brian J, Oct 26 04:55 pm (EDT): Hello, Thank you for contacting R* Games Support. We're sorry to hear that you're having issues with one of our titles. Below you will find some Console Troubleshooting steps which may help resolve the issue. These are the official troubleshooting steps provided by Microsoft on their support site: Before troubleshooting, please check the following:1. Turn the console off and on.2. Unplug all power cords and accessories, and then plug them back in firmly. Make sure all connections are secure.3. Update your console software (this article from Microsoft details how to check if your console software is up to date http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/system-updates/system-updates-info) Clearing the System Cache:1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.2. Select Storage or Memory.3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.4. Select Clear System Cache.5. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes. Clearing the Game Data:(Prior to clearing the game data, ensure that you back up any Save Data so it doesn't become deleted)1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.2. Select Storage or Memory.3. Highlight any storage device, and then press A on your controller.4. Select Games and Apps.5. Scroll through the list until you find the game you want to clear the data, once you find it press A on your controller.6. Delete any game related files which are not "save" files, if these files are deleted they cannot be recovered.7. Once all of the files have been deleted, go back to the Xbox Dashboard Home.8. Reboot the game. If this is still happening let's try this on a second 360 to see if the same issue is occurring. Cheers, Brian J
