Is it possible to make your online character look like a soldier?

well i like being a soldier too but not that military soldier i mean like a merc with buzzard and stuff, but its too bad that rockstar didnt made an option like 8 ppl are one army and 8 ppl are another army and they fight for territoriums in los santos and have to hold them that would be a good game mode !

Also do you guys remember the pc version of GTA 4?
They got all the cool clothes in multiplayer while they left out the consoles. If they do that again i'm going to use my GTA V disk as a target practice in the back yard

You can't dress your character to look like an American Soldier. For one, there is no camo blouse/top.

 

You can make a cool mercenary character, but not enough options to make a soldier. They need a military regulation haircut. They should add that. Then you can all roleplay that your 'soldier' is on leave, visiting LS, getting into sh*t.

You can use a camo hoodie, camo cargo pants, black boots, and a canvas hat to look pretty close to a soldier.

Personally I'd love to see some Multicam clothing put into GTA Online that way my character can look like me. Don't know if it'd be possible but shemaghs, tactical gloves, combat helmets, webbing and ammo pouches.

Been doing this for weeks, I posted this in the show your character thread like 20 pages back.

I pretty much wear this, but with an ash coloured shirt instead of black, the woodland camo is the only pattern that matches well across clothing items, the end result kinda looks like a Cuban or Bolivian type of soldier rather than an American one though. Still works pretty well for a Mercenary though.

 

I'd seen a lot of people use tundra pants with the heavy desert pattern armour but they're mismatched so they kinda put me off. Sometimes I like to wear all black pants with the black tucked-in and the army cap, add a black watch and it has a good SWAT/Spec Ops look to it, good for merc crews/players. Closest I could ever do to a Merryweather type outfit was a pair of pale jeans with black army boots and the super heavy armour with a black T-shirt and sunglasses, a buzz cut helps hairstyle wise, (sigh) wish we could have some leg holsters or something, it'd complete the merc look.

 

FIB/IAA agent casual outfits are fairly easy to do too, some decent cargo pants and a tucked or polo shirt makes for an appropriate agent look.

 

I know this a necro but this thread is cool and it needed resurrecting.

Just go ALL camo when your picking an outfit like the hat & vest above along with camo cargo pants and boots(the same can be applied for both genders).
