Is it possible to make your online character look like a soldier?

I like to switch between this outfit and my grey gangster outfit (suit jacket/suit vest/suit pants/fedora/purple aviator shades. . .my gang color is purple.) Oh yeah, either black oxfords or all black chelsea boots for the shoes.

It´s a shame because Michael´s son appears in soldier outfit once in SP and it looks awesome.

 

They need to give us more "theme clothes". Racing overalls, soldier outfits, policeman outfits, cycling clothes, jet fighter pilot outfit, tennis clothes...

 

It´s awful to do these things dressed like an imbecile, like cycling or tennis with a suit...

I did this within a few days of GTAO being released(I was the first to discover TPG), but the mismatching of the pants and soft armor killed it for me. So I've essentially been using this, but a little differently:

 

-Same hat in picture(or no hat and shades)

-Tucked in black shirt(don't remember the exact in game name of clothing)

-Same soft armor

-Taupe cargo pants

-Black boots

 

Sadly, being a military gear nut, there is no way to replicate a realistic soldier. I even looked how the mercenaries plate carrier set ups were... God awful, that's all I have to say. Pistol holster, double mag pouch, AND a drop leg pistol holster. I believe there was one more piece of molle gear, but regardless, their plate carrier setups are terrible.

 

I don't expect R* to do this, but I'd love something like my 6094a setup in game - simple but looks good and does what it needs to do, and carries what it needs to carry:

The scarf is under Accessories and as a result can only be found in a Ponsonbys store. It also appears to be exclusive to female characters.

Plus, most modern soldiers, and when I say modern, I mean, like actual military personnel, DON'T wear soft armor. Police/State Police wear soft armor(and some ragtag militias/ military groups/poor military wear soft armor and then a chest rig over it).

 

There is no way to mimick an actual military load out/look.

I use camo pants, tan boots, and a tan t-shirt. You're out of uniform, but it's close enough, especially considering that all of the camo gear uses the old school BDU pattern, instead of the ACU pattern.
