Whenever I've had my car blown up, I just brush it off and honestly don't care as long as the guy pays the insurance. Me and a couple of friends on XBL were doing drive-bys last night and I blew up about 4 cars unintentionally because I shot the car too much while aiming for the driver. And today I was trying to defend myself from someone trying to kill me so I grenade launched his car. So fair enough, I paid the 10k for his insurance. I don't have a problem with doing that.

 

But why is it necessary to prevent me from playing with friends for 2 days? This system is f*cked because the amount of times I've unintentionally blew someone's car up makes the system inconsistent a flat out BROKE.

 

If I'm footing the bill for the insurance, what's the f*cking problem? I'm being banned from playing with friends for 2 days because someone has to phone the insurer and go pick their car up? or better yet phone their mechanic to pick it up. All of which takes less than a minuet. The only thing that's been keeping me playing recently is the fact I found a couple of cool people in the crew to play with, and now I can't even do that.

 

If the Casino don't open up soon this game will collect dust until some SP DLC gets released.

I have "accidently" blown up players cars before(sometimes up to 2 or 3 in one game), I have been warned but never put into a bad sport pool. You are def doing something wrong and need to put away the explosive devices and get some shooting skill.

Sometime I unlock my cars for missions. On rare occasions they hijacked me...or did everything so my car go to the police...

That does suck for you. I've always had to pay the insurance when blowing up a car. Which I don't mind. Was chasing a guy in an Adder last night and shot his car too many times while trying to aim at his head. I paid the 12.5k, and he phoned his insurer. That should be it.

It costs 125k to insure initially, but when claiming on it I think it's about 12k?

Blown up a couple of PV's by accident, Really hate doing it as well, Sometimes i get 3 shots off and the cars explode... Honestly Bad Sport needs removed or reworked so you don't get Bad Sport warning for defending yourself, I've blown up so many PV's (And paid the bill) without explosives it's sad...

 

Also why don't people who camp you with a chopper get bad sport warnings?

That's just as bad as blowing up a PV imo.

 

I have had to go into passive mode to get away but as soon as i drop it the

asshat is back killing me again.

 

Also had same thing happen but i couldn't put passive on cause i didn't have any

money on hand cause he killed me to many times >_>

 

Those people piss me off more then people blowing my cars up.

Space docker costs about $12.5K to replace. Took mine for a spin last night and obviously it got blown up pretty sharpish

I think problem is implementation. How can the system tell if you are intentionaly (or not) blowing up cars. Either way you pay for the replacement, and I think that's punishment enough. What "bad sport" really needs to punish is the asshats who just engage in wonton homicide; spawn killing, griefing, etc. The problem with that being that you may have a server with 12 guys on it who are perfectly happy carelessly screwing around and killing each other left and right. Should they be punished for playing how they want?

 

I just don't see any way to fairly implement "bad sport" that doesn't punish more people for their gameplay style. You can't punish group A for the sake of group B. How is that fair?

I do this also ha, although i did ram a tank yesterday, two wheels fell of and the tank drove away and left me stranded

 

Accidental ignition bomb explosions annoy me, they get out of their personal car to steal mine, park their car to close to mine and both cars explode and i get a bad sport warning.
