I hate the new airport. It sucks for stunt jumping.

In GTA IV, I would often go to the airport to do sick jumps and flips off of the little yellow marker ramps on the runway. I got to the point where I could do double backflips/frontflips/rockingchairs off of them with hexers.

I haven't found anything similar in Los Santos and it's a little disappointing.

Does anyone know of an area that has plenty of room (to build up speed) while offereing plenty of clean jumps than can be hastily repeated?

Interesting, but I doubt a skate park has the level of open ground I'm used to to get up speed for some truly epic aerial maneuvers.

Airports are not really made for stun jumping.

 

If you really need it sandy shore airport got better jumps.

Well no, but again, once you land, (if you don't immediately die on impact), you have to go around to set up for another jump.

 

In the old airport I could hit one, do a trick, land, keep going, hit another, repeat as needed.

 

Sadly, I don't think there's anywhere like that I've found so far.

To the north east of the map just off of the highway there are some hills I saw someone doing massive jumps rolls and all kinds of stunts yesterday evening perhaps might be an idea to check that out!

I've not been to the airport that much, only during Races and A Titan of a Job. I liked stunting with the bikes in GTA IV in the airport. I've not done it because it never has people in there unlike in GTA IV Multiplayer. It was like 70% of the time people were on airport.

 

Do you get Wanted level when going to the airport in GTA: Online?

Yes, sadly.

 

And yeah, that's where most people hung out in GTA IV (mostly to snag choppers though), but I'm glad that's not the case here. It kinda sucks when everyone just always goes to one spot.

There are jumps at the airport. I was getting serious air last night. Look near the terminal and you will find the baggage loading conveyor belts. There is one positioned at the tail end of a yellow airliner near the heli pads. You can get a huge run down the runway and launch off of it. There are several more of them. There are also the deflectors near the north end of the west runway that you can launch off. I was having a blast with my Entity last night.

Nope, no cops. I've never gotten cops when I go in the airport online. I jump the fence over on the northwest side.

 

Check that, I did get cops last night after I belly landed the black jet and then blew it up with a sticky bomb. Then I used the assault shot gun to battle my way back to my car and managed to out run them/hide over by the hanger used in the SP mission.
