Beyond Level 120

Any point to going higher than level 120, other than extending my e-peen? Think there might be some content for higher level players in the Beach Bum DLC?

 

I've seen people who are level 160+ and I just wonder why they are bothered to go even further than 120 (assuming that they are spamming criminal records).

I farmed to 120 and stopped, now I'm 165 just from having played the game since. It's not a safe assumption thinking people higher than 120 are still farming, I think most are like me (and agree with your point) and have stopped farming, at least for RP (I'm broke myself so I'm still doing more missions and races than I otherwise would to make money).

If by "farming" you mean played them multiple times with my friends, having a blast and only noticing my level when it dings? Then sure, you got me dead to rights.

 

Why is this so hard to believe? Because you haven't accomplished the same?

 

Dude, I've been playing pretty much non-stop since launch. At LEAST 8 hours a day for weeks now. (blah blah, no life/job/family/etc, except I totally have all of those.)

 

I could probably be your level by dicking around with no direction in that time.

As far as I know, it tops out at 5 bars on the level dealie. Although I keep getting multiple notifications of it going up, so who knows. /shrugs

If the notifications are like "Max Health 20/40/60/80/100" under each other, then I doubt it gives any more health per 20 levels. It's a bug if you level up during a Job.

You underestimate how quickly farming levels you up, with a dedicated and competent crew the levels fly by, me and a friend were 120 in the first week, and in the time since we've been casually playing the game. You probably just suck at the game if you think leveling up that much wouldn't leave time for having a life, because I could probably be over level 300 right now if I wasn't doing anything else.

How much more HP does a higher level have anyway?

 

I'm lvl 100 so I have the 100/100 HP thing. Does that mean I have 200% health? Or 110% health or what? It doesn't feel like you have more.

I'm 108 atm. My goal was to reach 100 to get a gold RPG, but I was let down when I found out the rocket doesn't match... Hopefully the Minigun will be worth it.

This is why I haven't done the Criminal Records thing..feels to me like defeating the whole purpose of the game. So you level all the way up to 120 without doing anything but driving in circles...now what? Id rather just do races and missions and level up along the way.

Well that's a bit of an assumption don't you think. The fact is you probably don't like missions and races that much, but he does and therefore you both just enjoy the game, but he gets more money and levels for his way of enjoyment. Don't get so curt with people just because they like different things than you.

I'm 113 right now I think and a lot of that is from Criminal Records. The thing is I multitask when I grind. The entire time I was doing the race I would either be watching something on the side, debating interesting topics with my friend who was doing it with me, or end up getting 5 or 6 friends that we can have fun with and turn grinding into just playing the game for complete fun.
