Special Crate Drops

What mission do I have to complete in order to activate this feature? All I know is it's a mission for Trevor but every time I request a job from Ron, he gives me the same mission.

It opens with level, maybe 15 ish iirc.

Special crates are dropped at random and are quite rare. I've only seen three since launch. Look out for yellow letters announcing the drop.

Much like everything else in free roam, you have to actually play the game

 

accept any random mission he gives you next time, without calling him.

I got a crate drop the first day it went online but nothing since. Had the mini gun and about 5k. Actually the first day it seemed everything was unlocked. Of course my character reset about five times after that so nothing saved and it took quite a few level ups and hours of online play until I saw everything I did on day one of launch.

Just got to level 25 and creates stayed dropping for me. I think Ron called me too and told me to look out for them.

That was the problem. I press b on all my calls
