Syrlis Posted October 26, 2013 Share Posted October 26, 2013 I am a bit of a completionist when it comes to GTA games. I have put in 89 hours towards completing the Social Club checklist. Right now I only have 25 more random events left to complete to have 100% on the checklist. I am just NOW finding out that the Simeon Yetarian random event has to be completed before a certain point in the main story. Basically I wasted 89 hours for nothing as I will never be able to complete the checklist without starting ALL OVER again!!! This disappoints and angers me greatly. It will probably cause me to never play this fantastic game ever again. EXTREMELY poor decision making by Rockstar. In RDR, there was a random event that could only be done at a certain point in the story (the grim reaper one) but it did not count towards 100%. I did not do that random event in RDR but I still got 100% complete. If the Simeon random event does count towards 100% complete, then R* have to fix it, since not everyone wants to restart the story after 80+ hours. You need to do only like 25 random events IN-GAME to get 100%, but there are over 50 of them in total that only count on Rockstar's Website. So you should be able to get 100%, I mean you will get. CarimboHanky Posted October 26, 2013 Share Posted October 26, 2013 yep i found about this some 92 hours into the game. event know it doesnt count toward the 100% thanks to the partial 100% thing they have now. still sucks for those of us that like to do the real 100% completion. i normally go through a game 100% twice, so in a few months i would have the chance to redeem my self. I put up a thread about this to warn people but it got lost in the mix . It does not count towards 100% Unless your looking for a true 100% as i was you will have to start all over like i did .
