Cars don't sound very loud?

Am I the only one who notices that the cars that your character drives aren't very loud? The ones that pass by you on the streets sound a lot louder for some reason, even if your car has an aftermarket exhaust. Tilting your camera angle so that it's near your exhaust makes the cars sound quite good, which is what they're supposed to sound like without having to tilt the camera. Anyone else notice this and/or are annoyed by this?

Yes, the engines sound quite soft, but still good in my opinion. The cars start to sound fantastic( and feel fantastic) when you upgrade max armour, max transmission, max turbo, max engine upgrade. - makes any car handle and sound like a dream

You know I felt the same until I messed with the games speaker settings. Now my engines are very loud. I like the loudness that's why I messes with those settings. You'd be suprised what you start hearing once you get them right.

Yeah I noticed it as well. Still the same softness when going from the tv speakers to headphones. I liked Test Drive Unlimited because it had a separate volume adjust just for the engines.

I'd very much like turn police sirens down and the exhaust notice to be turned wayyy up, like a ten dB boost on say 12 audio channels?

Jet engines turned down, so you can actually hear what your friends are saying in party chat, how great would that be?

Cars aren't too bad, motorbikes is the problem. Chopper style bikes in particular or harley whatever you want to call them.

If you've ever been around one in real life you know that they are a deafening racket, in gta however they can hardly be heard at all.

I don't like how some sounds are much louder than others such as npc's blaring their horns, police sirens and most importantly every contact in my phone is like twice the game volume.

Most of the time I press mute when I ring pegasus it's got that annoying.

Some car sounds are very different like Voltic. I think Voltic uses a electric engine because its sound is very strange.

I use a surround headset on my ps3 & think the engine sound is ok but nowhere near racing games like grid 2 or gran turismo 5

i never drive with the radio on anymore when i want to hear my car

that goes for the voltic as well

all car engines should be louder, the titan should be LOUDER, and the jet engines are kinda fine i guess but theyre annoying so tone it down a bit pls
