Since the Docker and Frank's Buffalo made their way to Ps3, wouldn't be surprised if this demon made it there too.

Just a wonder,

as you can duplicate cars an unlimited amount of times, so I imagine it works with the tow truck as well,

what happen if you tow a truck towing a tow truck towing a tow truck towing a tow truck towing a tow truck towing a tow truck towing a tow truck ... you get it .. lol

That could create a time paradox the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continium and destroy the entire universe. Granted that's worst case scenerio. The destruction may be limited to merely our own galaxy. Edited by blk95ta

OP was trying to make you all aware if you have one, dont use it or get rid of it. He even admited his fault in duping a few of these for people. Its not like hes the one who brought it to the game, or the first one to dupe it for people. Even on hacking/modding sites there are asking people not to dupe the tow trucks and agreeing. No one was bitching when they got thier precious Buffalo or whatnot. Leave his ass alone. Hes trying to make the info public so we can stop the spread.

Some people claim to want it only for "rare" vehicle collection purposes, but 95% of the time I still don't grant it at the chance of them lying, and going on a griefing spree.

 

What happens if 2 tow trucks meet if they are within each others "freeze" radius.. I got rid of mines so i could actually play with my friends lol :3. Also thinking of getting rid of the Space Docker..It just don't feel right!

 

Not sure, but I'm still dumbfounded as to why that Vapid Dominator guy was immune to my tow truck. I'd like to know how.

 

The Space Docker is really all show. It doesn't perform well and is back heavy so it spins a lot.

I got one today and tested it out in a lobby of 9, me including. I towed an empty pedestrian vehicle around for like 30 minutes and nobody left so I assume they didnt freeze. I'm not going to use it to troll, I just think it looks sick. Might even get rid of the Rat Loader now that I have this.

Someone blew up a bunch of cars near me as I was trying to steal their personal vehicle, and as luck would have it, one of the vehicles hit was tossed right behind me and attached to the hook. I started driving away because of the psychotic pyromaniac, and it took me at least five seconds of "f*ck let's try not to die" to realize I was dragging a pedestrian vehicle behind me. I detached it at this point, and checked the notifications. There were at least eight other people within 3 radar lengths, some more around the city, but no one left the game.

 

I'm not going to go around doing it on purpose because using the tow truck on pedestrian vehicles is pointless, but thought I should throw it out there that this is not some guaranteed death sentence for everyone in the session. I've yet to see any evidence that the tow truck actually freezes anyone ever.

 

I pay attention when I'm towing people's personal vehicles, and as of yet, not one of them has ever left while I was doing it. In fact, no one has ever left, from the entire session. If I didn't know better, I would think the tow truck had the opposite effect: forcing people to stay in the session against their will.

 

Do I doubt that the tow truck can be used to freeze people? No, I don't. But the latest bit of "experimenting" that says dragging personal vehicles with no one in them will freeze everyone else is guaranteed absolute 100% bullsh*t. I must have dragged off 12-15 cars by now, and not once while I was attaching, attached, or detaching did anyone in the entire session happen to leave, never mind anyone being frozen nearby.

 

That being the case, it really draws into question the rest of the "experimenting" information. I'm tempted to join free roam and just drag a random pedestrian car around to confirm or debunk it for myself once and for all.

Or at least you can see me freezing others. Except for 1 guy, I froze everyone I came close to.

Eh for all we know R* could have pulled an EA and used the cloud servers as a somewhat drm. Either way i have a feeling cloud servers are being way to overhyped in it's current stage.

Under the current circumstances no, they aren`t. Everything that has happened could have happened on regular servers as well, which really makes them just a pain the butt for the last 27 days :(

I like the tow truck. I want one in my garage if it was legit. but they aren't and they need to lead to bans.
