iPone and I experimented with the truck. You cannot tow ANY empty vehicles, personal or not, or you will freeze others. I actually froze like 20 people in the process of shaking a pedestrian vehicle off the tow hook, because I had forgotten you could hold right on the D-pad to drop the car.

 

The truck also STILL freezes people if a player is inside the car you are towing.

 

Now check this out, this one dude is not freezing in my game. I'm freezing everyone but he's still intact. I don't understand why, so I towed him around, and froze others but he's still in the game.

That was probably your AI.

 

They disappear off the map, and sometimes their AI is left behind. Like this guy disappeared, then his AI left the car and ran away. This one guy was in a heli above me and he straight up vanished.

The reason the game crashes for people is because their Xbox doesn't understand why the empty vehicle is moving while entering their draw distance.

 

People are completely unable to join your game while towing, as they will freeze upon joining.

 

Driving the tow truck while not towing anything will not freeze the game.

This is true. iPone tried to join when I was trying to shake the ped truck off my truck and he froze.

Is there a difference with empty personal cars? I've had two guys chase me across the city to try get their cars back, which were empty when i towed them and they seemed fine (until i killed them and dumped their cars in the river)

 

Also i chased someguy that towed mine, before sh*t loads started popping up and i wondered how he got one, i spent like 20 mins killing him as he kept trying to tow my police car i was glitching into my garage so i had to keep stealing a new one.

 

Eventually he went invincible in the truck so i couldnt blow him up or kill him so i left the session.

iPone said he froze as soon as I hooked his empty personal car.

 

But since that guy in the Dominator didn't freeze in my lobby, but everyone else did I'm finding the effects to be pretty unpredictable.

Things will potentially get a lot worse before R' gets a solid grip on the coding. We're talking pretty epic glitches here and it can never be up to the players to restrain themselves - it's solely a matter of R' getting control back of their little murder universe here. They will, but until then I expect things to get slightly worse.

One thing is milking a race setup that pours too much RP into you - and the LSC glitch is really only affecting client side.

Another is to bring SP vehicles into Online, completely disturbing the coding on the server side, affecting thousands if not potentially millions of players. That is truly f'cked up, but it is not on the modders and glitters, even though I do hope for some restrainment or decency from those - it is simply solely on R'.

After they see this maybe they will step up their game big time and start fixes these bugs ASAP. Well the Beach Bum Pack will be here in November and it might be early November. If they are really pounding through these bug and glitches it looks like they wont get those fixed BEFORE the DLC comes around. So it does look like they are throwing content out with bugs still out unless you think ALL of the glitches and bugs will be fixed before early November.
