Easy Way Out?

So recently I found out there's other ways to take the "easy way out," like a friend of mine just shoots himself, and I take a pill to end it. Is there anyway to change this? Gotta say, I like the shock factor of blowing my brains out a bit more.

IIRC, killing yourself cost less in hospital bills than if someone else kills you...

Is it because your handgun is out of ammo?
