Elegy RH8 vs Carbonizzare

Fully modded which is better for racing?

I currently have a fully modded (80% armour) Carbonizzare as I was sure it was best but recently been finding myself having to chase down RH8s!

Which is best to use? Carbonizzare was 200k where as the Elegy is free.

The RH8 has a good speed and a very good acceleration, but it's a tricky car. It doesn't fit all races.
If you plan on having only one Sport car, that's not a very good choice if you can't manage its handling.

Just an advice. I have the RH8 btw.

But I can't tell which one is better.

I LOVE my Elegy.

It's won me plenty of races.

Please don't say that last pic is in Elegy in chrome??

It's pearlescent red chrome. It's the same car in both pics with the same paint.

I have both fully tuned (armor 80%) and must say the RH8 is better for racing. It's only slightly faster but far more important is that the Elegy is way heavier and can't get rammed out of the way as easily as the Carbonizzare. Sadly.

I love everything else about my Carbonizarre and think it's the coolest car in the game, I drive it all the time in missions and Free Play. But when you got ramming idiots in racing RH8 is by far the better choice.

9f hands down the best sports car for racing. Although with catch up you might as well use the sultan

Just lost my elegy to the insurance glitch and got a Carbo. They're night and day different cars. The Carbo is brutally, scary fast, mostly because the traction sucks. It's a hard car to drive on technical tracks, keeping speed through the turns is challenging. The Elegy is, IMO, a much easier car to drive, the best-in-class traction means high-g turns are pretty easy, it just won't break loose unless you're trying. I'm not sure if I like the Carbo so far, need to practice with it, but fully modded it's a handful. In skilled hands, probably uncatchable though.

I like that the carbonizzare is a hard top convertible.

just found that out, after owning it for a couple months

I personally prefer the Carbo over the Elegy but it all depends on what car suits you better.

Carbo takes much more skill to drive as it's RWD. The RH8 is AWD, so of course it's going to be easier to drive as there's more room for error into and out of turns, it's acceleration is more balanced, etc. Once learn-ed, the RWD with tons of power is almost impossible to beat. Hell, I sold my Phoenix and picked up a Carbo to compliment my Coquette last night.

It's like all the jerks that play Forza who automatically find an AWD car to do most of their class completion in. Sure it's easy as cake, but where's the fun?

Elegy has faster acceleration, but the carbonizzare is better at everything else.

Stick with it.

Carbonizzare isn't at all 'better at everything else'. Elegy has superior traction which allows it to lose much less speed in corners. This is why it destroys the Carbonizare around most tracks. Honestly, the only thing bad about Elegy is its braking which, if you get used to driving it, becomes a non issue.

Stick with what you have and make due. Its all about your driving style because they are two very different cars in terms of handling. Speed wise Carbo wins.

Both are great cars and will do well for you fully modded on the track. Again, it depends on where you're racing. Turns and such, I'd recommend the elegy because of handling but beware of the shoddy braking. Straight courses, the Carbo won't let you down.

If you haven't purchased either, then get the Elegy because you can almost fully mod it for the cost of a stock carbo. If you have a Carbo, stick with it to avoid losing what you've paid for it.
