You can tell, right at the beginning when they either speed off in their own car or wait around and see what everyone else is doing.

Anyone else notice that?

I don't let people in my car during missions ever since I've had someone steal my ride and leave me.

Now I just leave it locked permanently and drive off by myself to the objective.

Yea ofcourse, you don't want your personal vehicle to be stolen inside a mission because damn they can sell it and sh*t you'll never see it in daylight again

No because I hate randoms stealing my vehicles and making me grab another one while they most likely trash mine. It's stupid and they're rude for doing it.

It's actually annoying. The point of MP missions is mutual cooperation but sometimes you get these 'wannabe Tony Montana' type of players who speed off, try to complete the mission alone but end up dying first. And don't get me started on the players who stand around and do nothing, ugh.

I seriously would let people in if it didn't mean letting them be able to steal my car and get it trashed because they're a random douchey bad.

Unfortunately I can't. I changed the car to no-one and empty vehicle was greyed out so I couldn't do that during a mission. So it's either let people in and put up with the possibility of a jerk stealing my car, or locking it from everyone.

You ok dude, is your vag hurting. Get in the car hold select and let someone in. Damn! Grow a pair. It's a f*cking virtual car that you get back no matter what.

If someone tries to steal it hold select and turn to no one. It will kick them out.

I think you misread the post, I find it annoying when people speed off to dive into the mission on their own, and more often than not end up losing team lives.

When they hang around for a second and everyone heads to the mission at the same time, it tends to end up a lot better with less or no deaths.

I wasn't implying that they are irritating whether they drove off or stuck around, maybe i should have made that more clear

for the mentally challenged.

Actually it doesn't kick them out if they're already in it. Thanks for the trolling though.

If you're in a mission and not in your car you also can't empty the vehicle using the select menu.

How about you actually read a post before you troll it, because I said both of those things in what you quoted.

I leave my car unlocked, and in mission I try jump in the passenger or driver seat of someone else's car. But only if its different than my own car. And then I hang around to make sure everyone is in a personal vehicle, so we can roll out.

And if the team takes my car and locks me out of their cars and leaves me standing in the street...well I just take that as a message they dont want my help. So I go fool around and dont bother with the mission unless Im the last man standing. And then I sort of drag it out a bit. Dont leave peeps behind guys!

@iKevhawk:

You have to then close the menu once you change it to no-one for it to take effect. If you just switch to no-one and then watch to see them kicked out, it wont do anything.

That happened to me yesterday so i did exactly the same thing, luckily though they got me some nice free cash and XP

Apart from base invaders, the military site isn't policed during missions, that's pretty fun.

This is why I never play with randoms, ever. I won't do a mission without friends/crew, it's just not worth the hassle. Someone always does some stupid sh*t.

I only know 1 person IRL that has a console so it's good to meet new people, if there's a mission i really want to do properly i hit the 'invite friends' button, but otherwise if i'm just casually playing a mission i'll auto invite and anyone that i think does a good job or plays in the same style as me i'll add as a friend.

I switched it to no one as soon as they grabbed it. I closed out of the menu. I even reopened it to check.

They were able to drive to the objective without me. It was No Hay Bronca right after you deliver the package, I was the one delivering it.

The person who was in my passenger seat stole my vehicle and drove off.

Oh and if I find you afking I will slowly run you over. Just gentle pushing until you fall over. Repeated until you die or come back. >.>

Then you've encountered a bug. And rather than mouthing off to everyone else who is trying to point out how the system works 99% of the time, and accusing them of trolling, you should file a bug report or reset your console or something.

Can guarantee the method I outlined removes players from personal cars. Have both been removed, and removed others from many a car during missions.

Yeah because I was mouthing off to you.

And if you mean him, go ahread and read his post.

I have never had setting it to no-one kick someone out. It only does that before they get in. If it works for you, that's fine and dandy. But there's an empty personal vehicle button there for a reason and it's greyed out in that scenario.

I don't see how his post wasn't trolling, how about you read over his damn post. I wasn't being aggressive before his insults rolled in. Thanks for playing though.

I've actually never had the empty vehicle button be anything other than greyed out. Hence I know my method works at clearing my vehicle, because the button has never been available to me.

Worse are the people who join races but instead of racing just wander around the track trying to take people out.

people afking during survivals is what i have been noticing lately yesterday did 4 survivals and in 2 of them had solid afkers thru wave 10 id say give us a vote kick option but that would be abused id say they inactivity kick should be present and lowered 30 secs to 1 min once it starts ticking because the first 2 or 3 rounds they usually last awhile but 4 and beyond the helicopters and mob density they die farely early

I see idiot's everyday, who run straight towards drugs/cars etc and then die in like 2 seconds, like wtf, are you braindead or something ?

...and people, get yourself a HEADSET or LISTEN to other players.

I race to the objective because I don't want anybody messing it up. I also only play missions I know I can easily complete myself if my team is not competent enough (Mixed Up With Coke and Rooftop Rumble).

The only mission I drive straight off on is Base Invaders. I had my Entity last night with 3 guys all under level 30. Managed to destroy the Lazers and get the Cargobob back to the landing strip before they even reached Ron's Plane. Only worked because we spawned at the docks and they had slow cars.

Apart from that I like to go to the objective at the same time as everyone.
