Need ideas for a job.

I want to do something in order to make some sense for the 500k we are getting. (glad its getting delayed) The thing is, I do not exactly know what. I have a group of 3-4 of us that are all in to do it. It doesnt need to have a pay out or a any actual in game reward, just something that gives an excuse to how our characters just received half a mill.

 

The thing is it needs to be both difficult and doable... which is hard to come up with. Perhaps something that takes some days of prep work and organization. (perhaps scouting the area and, to invoke the story mode, take pics of the surrounding areas to get an idea of point of entry and such. The doable part comes in where it may be too suicidal to even have a success rate. Like stealing a tank where you are given to tie 10 times before succeeding. (even though I haven't completely thrown out the idea of stealing a tank) But here are some ideas I have had.

 

1. Hijacking the train. (does the train exist in GTA O)

2. Breaking into the prison and freeing an individual. (The individual would have to be made up as there is nobody in there to break out, or the individual played somehow by another player)

3. Blowing up all the jets in the military base, somehow using speed or stealth to do so.

4. (stealing multiple jets) -- ive stolen one, its not too hard.

5. going into a high security police station and stealing some high level police van or truck.

6. blowing up every cop car parked in each police station in LS.

 

 

Those are some ideas ive been playing with. I've also thought about combining objectives, such as breaking into the prison and safely getting that person to a location on the map after losing X amount of stars. I'd even be down to spend some money to call mercs on ourselves to add some flavor to the chase.

 

Anyways... Ideas are welcome, In short I am tired of waiting for the heist patch and think i can come up with something fun myself (with the help of you fine people) as well as give some sort of in game excuse as to why I just gained half a mill in dolla bills.

I guess some people like to make these things...legitamate.

 

I guess you could do this for a "mission"

 

1. steal/purchase a helicopter.

2. cause a "big scene" in which you lure most of the city's police force to a specific location, away from your employer's heist or whatever they're doing (you make it up)

3. make sure to use Merryweather, muggers, tanks, whatever to help you out

4. maintain this for x amount of minutes (eg. 5 minutes)

5. use some hevily modified car(s) to escape the area and head to wherever you stored your heli

6. escape the police with your heli, getting one of the players in a buzzard or jet will help with the getaway by destroying police/military heli

7. head to the best apartment you or your friends have and have a beer

 

Your share would be wired to your bank accounts at a later date in 2 installments.

 

Rules: try to stay together and do this in a public server so that players see 3-5 beeping dots on the map

I'm down for whatever and anyone in my crew would ride shotgun as well. We love random shenanagins and this would be a great time until the actually heists are out. Just found a video showing a Bank that you can get into that is near the apartment I bought. We are going to see how long we can hold the place. Maybe escape once we hit 5 stars or whatever. Yo thanks fellas these ideas are gold. I like the "big scene" idea. Cops always lighten things up and it creates a good "chase" atmosphere.. I want to do it in public so other people can get involved for better or worse...

 

Now Buckledown... this bank you can get into... tell me more about it you may have stumbled upon a goldmine for me.

 

-Preparation-

a. Get a getaway car, or bikes, enough for everyone

b. Scout the area, see what npcs are around, what cars spawn, best way in best way out

c. Get the area ready, perhaps place bombs around hidden on the curbs, park your getaway car in a good spot.

d. get an escape route... dont just rob and run... plan to get into the subway and peace through the tunnels... or get to the airport and fly away...

 

-Execution-

1. Get a decoy ride and drive to the bank.

2. Bust into the bank and start to "rob" it or "take hostages" (basically shooting/pointing your guns at people in the bank)

3. Hold it for X amount of time.. say 5-10 min or so... this could be someone (invisible npc) getting the gold while we hold off the cops.

4. Get into the escape ride and follow the escape route.

 

 

 

Anyone else have ideas? keep em commin? Any sort of unique stores that we can enter? like the jewelry store? the bank idea is gold.. pure gold...but more ideas always help... the area doesnt need to be heavily guarded as cops will do that much for us after the initial strike is done.

Sure I suppose. Cool.

 

I woud suggest 5 people minimum. 4 to "rob" the bank and then 1 to fly the getaway chopper or boat, get one of the robbers to fly a buzzard or jet so they can remove any following police helis. You'll need an evac by air or water because by the end of 5-10 minutes, you should have 4 or 5 stars.

That sounds like a fun time man. Think all the single player heist missions are open in the free roam for Online? Like I wouldnt mind hitting the jewelry store and even stealing a sub from the docks. Possibilities are endless and I dont need a big cash out, I steal most of my cars and do survivals whenever I need a quick 15-20gs. I already have a 200k crib so Im down to just mess around and do fake heists.

 

There is also that bank out in the hills, that might be pretty fun to have a planned hit too.. Thing is.. all they need to make it exciting is a small cash out reward for like getting into the very back of the bank... maybe like 2k or something... the big score comes later with the heists. But I remember in Red dead online, they had the bank in Armadillo which had only about 500-1000k in it but was still a good thing to hit with your posse and ride out of Armadillo before the lawmen came.
