Reason behind you paying for the insurance fee

When someone else blows up your vehicle? Is this some kind of glitch or does it have to do with having a bounty?

If it has to do with a bounty that's pretty stupid on Rockstar's part. In order to grief someone with a 10k+ insurance car you simply tag them with a minimum bounty and then pull out a nade launcher, etc.

There are ways of blowing up peoples cars and not getting bad sport or paying for their insurance.

 

ALSO, if someone blows up your vehicle and doesnt have money, I believe you have to pay for it yourself.

The cash wouldn't be such a big issue if I glitched, but I don't want to glitch. It makes for a very boring game genie type mode.

My car exploded and it said he collected the bounty. I did not see exactly what happened as I was goofing around racing a friend through town. We were near a LSC and those are always a hot spot for carnage.

 

I happened to be using my carbonizzare and the insurance wasn't too bad. I was just trying to figure out how it happened for future reference as I don't want to have to pay insurance fees for an Entity.

 

Carbon insurance is like 2.3k modded. Not sure if the mods up the cost.

Thank f*ck i drive a BF Injection, only cost me $200 when they do this.

I usually drive my Sheriff SUV which is free to replace from Insurance or Sultan RS which is only $125.

 

I sometimes use my Vacca but that's only $3000 so it's not too bad.

My car's a fully modded Sabre Turbo. Apparently insurance is 175 ish whenever I do something stupid.
