(I have not tested this in a proveable manner.) I hear them say funny things but they don't say most of them often. The funny stuff seems to be mixed in more with regular dialogue. Even back in August, when I had played IV for over a decade, I listened to Just or Unjust and it still made me laugh. V, however, made me giggle once or twice while I listened to WCTR or Blaine County Radio. I crack up still when they say 'THE WAR ON TERROR' really loudly on Weazel News, Michaels shrink appointments... Most of them are just awkward instead of funny. Especially considering I watched most of them with other people. Just really uncomfortable to do, forced "hah hah" points and boring. The cops never say anything funny and the pedestrians do not have a wide range of dialogue nor are they even funny either. I remember when nearly everything somebody said outside a mission was full of humor in some sort of way or form. I thought IV's humor was okay before V but after V released, IV just seems hilarious compared to V. What happened to those funny ass cop lines, the peds saying suspicious or absolutely stupid lines, or... just where is the humor in this game besides the story quotes? The websites aren't as plentiful as they were in IV and they feel dumbed down, not as funny. The store names are still funny or full of dark humor, but just aren't as funny as previous games. It kind of sucks. Not even the stations are funny. Does anybody else feel the same. PS - no dumbass "your opinion is wrong" style replies, please. yes this is true the humor in the game is just adult barbie girl humor just i do not enjoy for it is not real funny how in the historic games of grand theft auto the radio is majority political waste the people is not funny the characters is not funny why rockstar games company is not being good funny of this day Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I never really noticed anything memorable in GTA III or SA (those jokes like "My mother's my sister, cheesy vaginas etc.) until hearing it repeatedly over a decade. Eventually it became funny, then every time I would hear it I'd start feeling nostalgic. I've played a total of 126 hours, and I haven't heard anything memorable, either. But wait. Maybe since I'm assuming we'll be playing this for the next 5 to 10 years the same thing will happen. Its boring to have to search deep for a funny quote. The store names, as I said before, are still funny, but the cops and peds just aren't. Cops are 100% professional in what they say, peds just say stuff that people would say in real life, talk radio is just boring, and even the radio/tv ads aren't funny (well, except maybe the Piswasser one).
