My personal opinion on the largest controversies in gta online current

I do not have a problem with glitchers themselves... they only frustrate me when they use a modified super car in Races, having an unfair advantage to other players. If they roam around in their Adders/Entities in Free Mode... why should I care?

 

They've basically ruined the point of the game for themselves. Some of the glitchers may stop playing later on anyway, because it's too boring for them to continue to play because they don't have a reason to.

You dont always gt spawned down the street. As someone who gets in a tank and tries to kill someone all the time, I see where people spawn a lot. Its never right there in the city. If the tank is focusing on multiple targets as it usually is and you spawn on a street intersecting with the one it is on, you should be able to get away. I refuse to believe that people get "trapped" indefinitely by tanks. Youre just over exaggerating.

You can host your own races. Also most legit players have enough money for one modded out super car. I would too even if i hadnt glitched. I would have my fully modded entity.

Roof top rumble and mixed up with coke made it so a ton of players could have a tank legit. However, when "legit" players see a tank, they think no matter what its a glitcher. They dont realize how many people farmed those missions. Lets not forget you have to be a level 70 to get a tank. You cant just glitch. Ive played a good share of the game to get my tank.

I'm currently level 68. I've got the 205k apartment and 7 cars in my garage (no super cars). I like to think of myself as a legit player. I've played GTAO every day since release for at least 4 hours. So excuse me for finding it very hard to believe that anyone over roughly level 80 with a tank hasn't glitched at some point

 

You clearly never farmed the missions like many did. Ive seen people with 10 million dollars worth of jobs before. I myself have made 1.4 million off of jobs and had 200k of car sales before i started glitching. If i saved up all my money by now I could have bought a tank and im level 78. And I never farmed. Anyone that farmed could have bought a tank very quickly.

 

And a lot of people farmed those missions because it was all over ign and youtube.

I honestly made a character to glitch with just so I could have fun with friends and not worry about money (as a lot of the times, me and 7 others play in a friend's only lobby).

The other is a new player with the starting 2,000$. They both decide to buy guns and fight each other. It stands to reason that the player with more money could buy more weapons and ammo and this would have an advantage over the other player.

You can host your own races. Also most legit players have enough money for one modded out super car. I would too even if i hadnt glitched. I would have my fully modded entity.

 

I know I can host them, but I prefer to join a Quick Job/Race. It's quicker than to wait for decades to people to join your epic race.

 

And yes, I've earned around $1,5 million from Jobs (Races) so I would have got a supercar too if I hadn't bought other things. Most I have had has been like $200k at a time. I'm about level 70.

except that at level one you can only have a pistol and the sawed off shotgun and the pistol is better for pvp anyways. and 2000 dollars is enough to buy a lot of ammo. and you cant do the glitch at level one as well because you wouldnt have any unlocks for your car.

Its an implied quote. Farming is not glitching. They didnt "punish" farmers. They just realized how easy it was to make money and so took the necessary steps to make it harder for everyone as a whole. And you said you report farmers. What do you even report them for?

Glitchers ARE ruining the game. You wanna know why? People using glitches are usually the ones crying out about the need for more content. Its a game meant for relaxing. You should not feel like youre putting hard work into a video game because at the end of the day, it does not matter. sure its very entertaining. I love video games. they are a great way to wind down and some of them have stories that i consider literature. but this is online. i play it because its fun to screw around in this game. im not ruining it for myself. the only people that enjoy putting hard work in video games to feel accomplished are usually the ones who dont really accomplish much in real life.

I dont have to do the same races over and over to save up for the things i want. your argument is that you would hate to win the lottery in real life because then you wouldnt have anything to work for. you dont understand the insane amounts of things you can do in this game once you have the things you want and the money to fund it. Your argument is completely irrational. and i said they werent punishing farmers. farmers wont be put in cheater lobbies or reset. they will not be punished. getting rid of the replay button is not punishing someone. youre so dumb haha

Its a game meant for relaxing. You should not feel like youre putting hard work into a video game because at the end of the day, it does not matter. sure its very entertaining. I love video games. they are a great way to wind down and some of them have stories that i consider literature. but this is online. i play it because its fun to screw around in this game. im not ruining it for myself. the only people that enjoy putting hard work in video games to feel accomplished are usually the ones who dont really accomplish much in real life.

Sure you're not ruining the game for yourself when you screw around in tanks. The problem is that you're ruining the game for other people.

 

If someone kills you then by all means get in your tank and kill them back. Just don't keep doing it if they try to escape. That's just being a dick
