My personal opinion on the largest controversies in gta online current

I have to admit that while I am going to try to break everything down here in a rational manner, i do have a slight bias towards one side in what seems to be the biggest controversy right now in this game: the LSC glitch.

 

At first, I wanted to play clean because I somewhat enjoyed grinding out races anyways for levels and money. After 3 days of in game play, i finally saved almost enough for an entity which was going to be my first real good car besides my carbonizarre. But then after patch 1.04, my profile started screwing up and i lost about 250 thousand and was losing levels too. I had never done any of the really easy missions that you could farm, only races and some other things here and there so after 3 days of gameplay, my total income was about 1 million. Once my profile started screwing up, i decided I might as well do the glitch and as of now i have spent 12 million dollars.

 

I enjoy the game more now. Because I am not focusing on just grinding races to get money I actually feel like I can do whatever I want in the game and for me personally, the game is more entertaining.

 

The controversy arises because the people who did not glitch feel the game is unbalanced now. The purpose of this post is to convince those of you otherwise.

 

First things first, I have a tank. I have seen so many posts talking about how tanks are so cheap because they just spawn kill you over and over. Passive mode costs 100 dollars. Join another session is free. Running away is also not that hard. The problem is that I dont think any of you are actually being spawn killed by it. When I get in my tank and kill people, they run towards me in effort to hi-jack me. That's the dumbest move you could make. Any competent player in a tank wont let you hi-jack him. Run away. Also, if a guy kills you with a tank and you report him for griefing, you are being the bigger douche. Its part of the game. If you dont like it, there is invite only session, passive mode and you can run away. Also you can try to kick the player in the tank. When I first got in a tank, I almost got kicked from the session right away. There are too many ways to avoid this all together. If you get killed by a tank over and over, its because you're trying to fight the tank. So don't complain about it.

 

Second. Custom vehicles. The fix: go to host race and turn custom vehicles off. Voila. No reason to whine about people having adders and entities. It doesnt do anything to you. Unless you join races instead of hosting them but honestly, just avoiding wipe outs is going to help you a whole lot more than a custom car. Just be a defensive driver and try to avoid contact. If you play it smart you can easily win.

 

Three. The stock market. This game isnt that realistic actually when it comes to the stock market. When the stock market is available online, a rich player will not be able to "control" the market as I have seen people claim. Even if one person has a billion dollars, there is unlimited stock. You cant buy a certain percentage of the company. Its not like one guy can buy up all the stock and own the company or something. Everyone will have the same roi, its just that the richer plays will be putting in more so they will get out more. But it doesnt make a difference because it does not hinder your ability to make the same amount of money you would make anyways regardless.

 

Honestly, the tank is only the really thing thats even debatable. The buzzard is alright but it seriously spawns all the time at the airport. There is almost always one or two. If you want a buzzard just go get one.

 

Nothing that the glitchers are doing is keeping you from playing the game how you want to play it. This isnt your day job. You shouldnt have to put days and days into it just so you can have one cool car that no one else online has so you can feel superior. Its a video game. Its a very fun video game and I enjoy it more after glitching.

 

If your motivation for grinding is just so you can have something your friends dont in a video game, you dont understand how to have fun in a video game. I honestly like racing so thats why i did it so much at first.

 

If there are any other potential reasons why glitching "ruins" the game please, bring them up.

You suck at the tank, OP, it has enough to speed to go around the corner and spawn kill someone repeatedly, passive mode = you can just run over him.

 

If they don't get a good spawn (near a car or somewhere where the tank can't reach) the only solution is to leave the session, and that's a sh*tty solution.

 

 

The tank is OP as f*ck, i have one/fought against it so i know it, however, it's intended to be OP, things would be easily balanced out by increasing the heat one can get while on a tank rampage, send the army with tanks of it's own against the player, this way he can't just sit around and jerk in the same place.

 

 

If another player steal an army tank they instantly get max stars/army, or just make it so you can't steal army tanks on the street.

Haha I dont mean that I felt I was losing money so I started glitching. My profile literally hadnt been able to save so I couldnt play this entire week. Just like I couldnt play the entire first week. I felt the game was already broken because I couldnt level up or gain money and for some reason the only thing that would save were my purchases. Im not saying I got forced into glitching. Im saying the games more fun now that I glitched. And no, you are an idiot if you get killed by the tank over and over. It is not as good as you keep saying. If you get spawn killed over and over its either because youre on the beach or you are bad at the game. Thats all there is to it. Also, where is the so called stimulus package anyways?

 

Rockstar has already said that there will be cheater lobbies. No ones getting reset or banned.

 

Also, tanks are a sure fire way to get put in a bad sport lobby as I am in currently. I like bad sport lobbies better anyways. Tanks do not ruin the game because they are impossible to kill people with unless you destroy their car too. Unless the idiots dumb enough to run up to the tank over and over on foot, as I have had people do to me.

OP apparently doesn't know that you can still be killed by explosions in passive mode. Guess what a tank's main gun is? Oh yeah, explosive...

 

R* need to increase the price of buying tanks. I don't mind them being OP (they're tanks ffs), what I do mind is how many players have LSC glitched for 30 minutes and then bought one

I'm calling bullsh*t. Why? Because literally 30 seconds before I made my post I got killed in passive mode while trying to escape a tank.

 

Go into passive mode, get a friend to drop a grenade/sticky next to you. Then come back and tell me I don't know how to GTA

The main point is dont fight the tank. You cannot beat the tank. You can run from the tank though. And you can beat the tank with the buzzard or the jet if youre good. Thats only if you feel like you have to beat the tank so that you can feel better about yourself.

 

The real problem is that before it was patched, there were some missions that were just as good as glitching because they gave you rp as well. Roof top rumble and mixed up with coke made it so a ton of players could have a tank legit. However, when "legit" players see a tank, they think no matter what its a glitcher. They dont realize how many people farmed those missions. Lets not forget you have to be a level 70 to get a tank. You cant just glitch. Ive played a good share of the game to get my tank. Maybe not a "fair" share, but Ive played quite a bit anyways.

You clearly never farmed the missions like many did. Ive seen people with 10 million dollars worth of jobs before. I myself have made 1.4 million off of jobs and had 200k of car sales before i started glitching. If i saved up all my money by now I could have bought a tank and im level 78. And I never farmed. Anyone that farmed could have bought a tank very quickly.

 

And a lot of people farmed those missions because it was all over ign and youtube.

 

Every time you see someone in a tank and you jump to conclusions and report him, youre being a douche. Im not saying you personally have reported anyone, im saying that ive seen people say on these forums that they report people with tanks. That is stupid.
