Hotknife PLEASE?

I know it was only available as a Collectors Edition incentive, however i've (thankfully) found a way to share a personal vehicle (under 50k) with other friends/crew members... Sit in it (alone) at the end of a mission and it will double spawn so they could claim it while sitting inside...

 

So my question is this, does anyone here have a hot knife? and could I PLEASE add you so I can see if this theory would apply to that car as well??

 

Being a hotrod enthusiast, it's the one ride that has eluded my garage and i'd REALLY like to see if I can change that!

When you try to store it it says you don't have the DLC. But I wonder if it works doing the "Saving cop cars" glitch.

 

ARGH... I want a T-bucket (hotknife)!!! It would be interesting to see if that would work!

 

I was so hoping that they would transfer some of the cars over from LA Noire, a "classics" car company to complement the others... But I suppose i'll just have to be hopful for a DLC sometime in the future ay?

Not bad sport but if you can find a way, I'll give you one. The amount of times I have got the petrol can and doused the Hotknife and the Electric car in petrol and lit it. I usually do it around people to see their reaction. They are always calling me an idiot and a glitcher (which I am not) to be able to waste so much money, etc etc. What they don't realise is, they are FREE, I can buy as many as I like! haha

no it doesnt work.. so stop trying. you need the dlc to be able to have it. if you dont then thats it move on there plenty of other cars in the world

Why do people not understand that IT IS NOT POSSIBLE for non CE owners to obtain the vehicles. It can be dup'd and driven around, but you cannot put it in your garage or take it to LSC.

It doesn't matter how you dupe it or how you try to glitch it in your garage if you don't have the CE you can't store or customize it. I've tried every known way.

 

TBH you're not missing out on anything. The car is unique, but it can not turn at all. You'd be better off driving the car head on into a Titan and knocking the front wheels off because they are practically useless and the car seems even faster without them.
