How To Exchange Vehicles?

I have looked around for a while and for the life of me I cant find anything definitive on this topic.

 

There are alot of threads where people are requesting vehicles from other players. How are players giving vehicles to eachother and getting around the whole tracking issue?

The way we've done it in my group is for the player that owns the car to drive up to you, let you get in the driver's seat and then log off or start a mission. This will leave you sitting in the car that no longer has a tracker. Another method is to do a mission and the owner allow you to get in his car and drive well off before the mission is completed, which will leave you sitting in a copy of the car when you return to the game.

 

Then if the person that previously owned the car doesnt want it they go sell it or replace it with something else.

Ahh so thats another way to do it then, cool! Ive got a stock futo and sultan if anyone wants to buy 1? F 10.000. S 15.000 ps3. I was looking for the sultan for a friend but he had to go off. They both hav trackers as I put them in my garage

 

Tracker cant be removed in modshop ive tried

I have no idea if it works on super cars, but that's how I shared the Sandking XL and Felon GT's that I have.

Hmm makes sense thanks. So when the owner logs off or just leave the session the car loses its tracker??

Happened to me, the cloned car just acts as a random NPC car, super cars(100k+) are too hot but it works on the lower end cars

Hey so I tried those methods and no luck. When the owner of the car gets out of the car it forces the other player out as well.

 

I ended up getting a copy of my car to exist for a friend but it says "unable to store this vehicle"

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
