Crews need a tweak

Okay so I don't like to complain but there's a little annoyance I found with the crew set up that discourages being a member of multiple crews. Let me explain...

 

I have almost 90 members in DDET yet only thirty one show up on my in game crew list. That means sixty or so members won't even receive an invite to meets and other sessions. Only thing I can conclude is that only 31 members have DDET as their active (main) crew. Now sure I want my members to have us as their main but you should be on the list of any crew you're a part of. To only show up on one's list defeats the purpose of being a member of more than just that one.

 

Anyone agree with me that this should be tweaked a bit? Sorry to complain.

I agree, I think crew members( especially leaders) should have some more control in game. A new window in the online menu would be fine, or even like a phone app in game would be cool to see a full list of your crew and some options.

Yeah like next to friends on the pause menu could be crew, I only recently discovered that the crew list is buried under, online, then crew, then your crew, then members, finally you can invite now. Which I guess wouldn't be too bad if it did show all your members...but it doesn't

Are all the members in your crew on the same console? You can join someones crew they set up on PS, even though you play on 360, right?

You could and even though I haven't checked every member (though I did see 2 xbox linked guys) All my members came from a PS3 Titled and stressed thread so they shouldn't be xbox people XD. Especially since half of my official thread is people putting down their psn despite me putting in large letters, no psn....that being said I guess it's a possibility to still have some xbox members but 90% or so at the least should be ps3...I'm not seenig that

Lol. I wish they didn't have a crew limit at all. It's not like you're going to be able to level up every crew you join as much as you want them to.

I wish there was more crew on crew action: Organised (in game) events that pit one crew against another creating rivalries/beefs/alliances. Crews have no territory to protect, no base of operations or crew specific missions and just a general lack of interaction. All they do in their current state is create a 'friend' list without them being on your PSN/XBox account list.

and this, crew limits make little sense as more members provides no extra benefit as we have only 16 players per session anyway. Why not add the ability to add 'chapters' or 'branches' of the crew if there has to be a numerical limit for whatever reason, complete with their own leader/hierarchy who answer to the main chapter's leader?

This^ I agree but my ideas of crew homes and events would lead us in a whole other direction. I'd just settle for the list being worked on for now. Perhaps as this game develops, because it seems like a beta with a TON of potential, it'll end up as something truly great. For now GTA V was worth the $60 and Online is just a nice bonus

But all your friends have crews, and invite you to join. But oh no, my limit has been reached. Poop.

Only reason I understand people doing it is if they have a crew with people they know in person, and one for internet friends/randoms, and don't want to mix the two (or can't because of the limit). The dynamic I have with my real friends is very different to one if I want to roleplay in a crew (I'm part of an MC in game)
