Background: There have been many concepts before named "GTA: Viagra", http://gtaforums.com/topic/281076-gta-viagra-revive/ for example. However none has yet taken off and it's time for the definitive one. This post takes inspiration from them and I have the authorization of one of the authors of a deleted GTA: Viagra thread (who wishes to remain anonymous) to borrow some ideas from him. I think the first character from my picture is part of the GTA4 peds to SA mod by madpenguinproductions, the 2nd is from Diego4Fun Zone and the 3rd is from Ls-Rp forum. So, without further ado... This is GTA: Viagra. The year is 2000, the turn of the millenium. The setting will be fitting and nostalgic of a time 10 years ago, with old music, clothes, cars and technology. It is a time of change, a hinge between the 90s and today's culture. The game is retro themed, trying to mimic the vintage style of the legendary GTA III. THE SETTING: The game takes place in the city of Baton, which (you've guessed it) is based on the real life city of Boston. Everything you love is there, the gangsters, the bank robberies, the accent and of course the sickest fetishes. The game takes place during a cold winter, with the city covered in snow. THE CHARACTERS: Following GTA V's innovative 3 character set up, this game will also have 3 playable characters that you can switch between during gameplay. They are: Ben Dover: A recovering sex addict, he has lived in the city of Baton ever since he was born. After meeting an old college friend, Ike, who's studying biology and chemistry, they decide to partner up and sell the most powerful custom made viagra ever. As two ingenuous new drug dealers, this new and very dangerous product will get them in trouble with the law and the gangs that currently run the city. Will Ben find true love? Or will he get addicted to his own drug? Anything can happen in Baton City. Ben's character is loosely inspired by Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. Ike↓ Skin from forum.ls-rp.com I don't remember his name, sorry! Annie Rection: For the first time, there's a female protagonist in a GTA game. A mysterious naive new girl in the big city. She meets Ben through a website where she was looking for someone to show her around the city. She's staying at a motel, where she meets Denise Robinson (yup, the girl from San Andreas). Denise is currently dating some abuser douche bag who beats her up until Anne kills him with a baseball bat. Denise will later get back with CJ who also comes to the city and makes a cameo appearance. Annie is always looking for fun things to do in the new city. You slowly learn about her past as the game progresses. More info below. Her character is based on someone I met on the internet, no need to elaborate on that. Hugh Janus: Hugh is a mercenary and Gulf War veteran who now offers his services on Craigslist. He will be hired by Ben as personal protection. He is actually an ilegal immigrant from Iraq with a fake ID. He's a closet homosexual. The other protagonists will often humorously comment on this in their dialogue. In a very emotionally loaded cutscene near the end of the game, he will come out of the closet to his friends and his brother, who isn't very happy about it. Then Ben punches the brother in the face. His character is loosely based on Leon from The Professional. THE CARS: Much to the surprise of GTA fans, this time the vehicles will be actual real world ones. Some cars that appear in the game are: -VW New Beetle -VW Jetta -Ferrari 360 -Lamborghini Diablo -GMC Yukon -GMC RTS bus -Ford Crown Victoria -Honda Civic For the first time, an amish community will appear in the game. They drive old carts pulled by horses. THE MUSIC: This time, the radios have real songs that fit with the late 90s / early 2000s setting, unlike GTA III and LCS which had mostly made up or non-mainstream songs. For the first time, the radios have more than one DJ that works at a certain time of day. Some radio stations are: The Zone FM (pop): -"Baby one more time" by Britney Spears -"I want it that way" by Backstreet Boys -"Beautiful stranger" by Madonna -"Wherever you will go" by The Calling X The Alternative (rock and pop): -"Little L" by Jamiroquai -"Malibu" by Hole -"Learn to fly" by Foo Fighters -"Californication" by RHCP Generation Y (punk and nu metal): -"What's my age again?" by Blink 182 -"Youth of the nation" by POD -"Break stuff" by Limp Bizkit Beat Box (techno): -"Smack my b*tch up" by The Prodigy -"Breathe" by The Prodigy -"Fire" by The Prodigy Vintage FM (old rock and pop): -"A hard day's night" by The Beatles -"Black Betty" by Ram Jam -"Start me up" by Rolling Stones -"Mona Lisas and mad hatters" by Elton John Real Radio (rap): -"Thug style" by Tupac -"Without me" by Eminem ...to name a few. GAMEPLAY FEATURES: 3 playable characters that you can switch between at any time during the game. Each has his/her own wanted level, money, etc. When controlled by the AI, they behave reallistically. You can play hockey on roller blades on the street, with two teams of two players each. Hot Coffee is back and meaner than ever. As Ben, you can have sex with Annie and other ladies you meet in the city, including prostitutes. In true Boston style, sex will involve minigames where you have to carefully take a sh*t or pee in the girl's mouth. This is the first time in the GTA series where 2 protagonists can have a sexual relationship with each other. As Annie, you can be a prostitute yourself and get money. Annie can also flirt her way out of a ticket when the wanted level is 1. Hugh is very good with his guns as he can quickly reload them. He is also very athletic and can take more damage than the other characters. As Hugh you can play assassin missions in which you have to find a target in the city, maybe by even asking pedestrians about his or her whereabouts and then killing your target when you find them. If you lose your health while having a high wanted level and cops around you, you won't get Wasted, you will get Busted. Unlike older GTAs, going to jail here is different. You will meet your lawyer, Dick Burns, who will present you with 3 options: Use a get out of jail for free card if you have one, pay the bail (the higher the wanted level, the more expensive it is) or the last (and maybe the only) option, wait for your friends to rescue you. If you pick the third, you will spawn in a police inmate transport and your friends will show up, guns blazing. You will have to shoot your way out and escape, along with the other inmates. You can also shoot your lawyer if you feel like it. As stated before, an amish community inhabits the surrounding areas of the city. And they aren't very friendly. They will offer some side "amish mafia" themed missions. For the first time, children and pregnant women will appear on the street (and they can, of course, be killed). Kids will say things like "YOUR UGLY!" as you walk by. These are included solely for the purpose of creating controversy and fill no special role in the game. Ben will ocassionally be attacked on the street by ladies who claim he's the father of their child. The radios have more than one DJ that appear at different times of the day. You can shop lift clothes but the shop employees or security personnel might spot you. You can get "high" on your own viagra, which lets you run fast and hump other people like crazy until the effect wears off. You will manage your viagra empire which can get you rich... or dead. Ambulance, Taxi and Police submissions are available again, this time your character will be replaced with a cop, paramedic or taxi driver. Cars have working windshield wipers. Behind a church you will find a secret icon. Walking over it will start a special rampage mission called "Second Coming" in which you play as Jesus Christ and you have to kill everyone before the Apocalypse (timer) is over. The police and later the army will come after you. This isn't so far fetched considering a mission in GTA V has you shooting aliens with a minigun. There is for the first time a 7 star wanted level. In this level, the air force will raid the city and make sure you are terminated whatever it takes. If you do good deeds like helping old ladies cross the street, etc. you can be elected president. This doesn't have a major impact in gameplay, you get a message on the screen saying "Congratulations! You have been elected president!" or something like that. This is based on an idea an old friend of mine from high school had, when he jokingly told me this was an actual feature from GTA VC that I didn' t know was there. THE MISSIONS: In one mission you have to sell viagra at a nursing home for elderly people. Things go out of control and you end up being chased by old people on electric wheelchairs. In a clear homage to Breaking Bad, Ben and Ike take an RV to the city outskirts and prepare some of their special viagra. This can later be done again outside the mission, to acquire some more of your product and sell it. In a prologue mission that takes place in London many years ago, Hugh is escaping from the cops. His friend John Shaker saves his life and then tells Hugh that now he owes him a favor. Later, in 2000, John calls Hugh to claim that favor: John is married with children but he has also been seeing a woman who now blackmails him asking for money while threatening to tell his family about their relationship. That woman is Annie. In the final mission, as Ben you must decide if you want to save Annie and kill Hugh or help Hugh and let Annie die. MORE COMING SOON... maybe Okay, this may look like a parody of other concept threads and GTA itself, and it IS. However I'm currently working on a mod for either VC or SA that will include some of these features and maybe become the real GTA: Viagra you've been waiting for ever since you saw the first post with that name.
