Trading cars?

Does anyone know if there is a way to trade/give/sell cars to other players? I don't think it's possible to get rid of the tracker on your car so does anyone know if there is a way to do it. I've tried looking it up and found nothing.

It's easy and I've only done it once by accident and as a test.

 

Not sure if this is the exact procedure but drive another players car and have him in the passenger seat when someone else in the party completes the last objective.

 

when you go to freeroam he will have his car and you have a copy which you can put in your garage. I tested it and sold it. Shame I only got 25k for it
