Can someone tell me if I'm doing Criminal Records wrong?

I'm racing with a friend, he gets 2 wins then I get two wins etc.

 

Anyways, I only get that big chunk of RP when completing the first lap, but after that it's all tiny amounts. What am I doing wrong? It's set to 3 laps, personal time. Shouldn't I be getting it every lap?

If you are using the farming method, the diminishing return on additional laps is not worth it. Just do it on 1 lap.

Well, if you're in a car and driving very quickly toward the finish line, I'd say you're doing it right.

Do 2 laps at least, Ive noticed the biggest RP is after the first lap. Turn off catchup, turn on traffic and police.

You will get it on the first 2 laps for sure, the 3rd should be the finish lap and I don't think you get it on that but I could be wrong. Remember you need to get fastest lap every time, if your second lap is slower than your first then you wont get it, so watch for that.

 

Also not sure if this matters but the original method was to turn World record to Personal record before anyone joins.

Your 2nd lap needs to be faster than your 1st, and your 3rd should be faster than your 2nd

Yeah make sure your 1st lap is about 30-33 seconds and on the 2nd just blitz it. Should max out.

The max RP for this activity is 5,000RP. End of story. Anything you earn after that 5,000 doesn't actually count. No matter what you think. No matter if you see the RP BAR fill up.

Just do the simple math. You will see. When race starts, press down on your D pad. Your total RP will show on top of the screen. Remember the number. Finish the race. Race again. Check number again. You will see the most it will go up is 5,000 RP. That is all. You can't actually get more than that.

I've been having issues with this as well. I posted this in another thread but didnt get any responses.

Yes, setting are correct

Yes, I've played with one other, two other and even three others.

 

After each lap, I only get about 200 rp. (yes, after beating my personal time each lap.)

 

However, I know the settings are right because everyoneone else I play with gets 1-2 bars full of rp after each lap and I only get 200 rp. They are maxing out by the second lap.

 

By the end of the race, as a WHOLE, Im only getting 1 full bar of rp.

 

I don't understand it. I've tried over and over and nothing seems to work.

 

Any suggestions ?
