I have bad wifi even though my router is right next to my xbox, so I need to use an Ethernet cable to even connect. And the glitching/lag isn't a connection issue, it's the game itself not being able to support multiplayer.

I didn't realize Costco sold internet membership. I am an executive member there and can enter the store 1 hour before normal hours but I didn't realize they provide internet.

I have DSL and it plays fine for me. Your standards are too high. Besides, you can't even check a player's ping in this game. You could be the one lagging.

Yes because we all live right next to a tower and have 100% crystal clear connections. you know because all rural areas have those sort of connections. there is no way that some people do not have access to these connections.

If i were the one lagging then everyone else would be lagging. When there is only one other person lagging then Im quite sure its just them. Also I have a 100mb/s connection and am plugged in with an E cable. Also don't know a good bandwidth because it would take some testing to find out when people start glitching. It won't be anything under 1mb/s will automatically glitch. No, it will have to be tested to find out when you start to see lag.

 

If you don't have good connection then you play with others that have the same connection that way no one has the advantage. See. Its win win.

If you really want people to have better internet, go get it installed for them and pay for it yourself.

 

Sometimes it's the games problems more than the persons internet.

Uh, there is no real decent movement buffer implemented so the people who are losing connection just freeze for a second and then start moving. I think you might disappear then pop out too. This isn't necessarily the person's internet connection though and could be blamed on the servers more often than not. So before you go bashing people who don't have much of a choice in their internet provider, pull your head out of your ass.

 

Another point, MB/s has very little to do with it as GTA online uses very little bandwidth, you need to look at connection latency smartass

Fun fact: 3 Mbps is enough.

While I can't remember the exact amount and it's different for both consoles. They both cap around 3 mbps.

You can still play with friends. Just when joining random lobbies then you have to go to the bad connection ones. And if you play with friends then they would have to go to the sh*t connection lobbies. Its not okay for someone to be able to shoot me around a corner then their character move around that corner seconds later. And its not okay for someone to be invicible because their character is lagging around and is unhitable.

Honestly never ran into any problems with lag. I have a really good internet connection so that might help.
