Big Molio

Had a race last night with some guy who was calling himself "TomF1Fan ----" as part of his gamertag. He deliberately sideswiped me a couple of times during overtaking. I won, and sent him a message "WTH with that ramming? 🤣" and prepared myself for a load of abuse, or silence.

As it turned out, I ended up having a lengthy and friendly chat about GTA racing and F1 with him, and he added me as a friend.

Funny game sometimes.

They had us in the first half, not gonna lie.

But hey, a good ending.

Commander S

Figured I'd take a swing at getting the S2 Cabrio for free, even though that'd mean doing almost a full week of racing with randos.

First race, Good Bet: immediate pile-up on the first turn with the entire pack taking themselves out (thanks!), smooth sailing for the next third, then someone tried catching up and ramming me into traffic only to screw themselves over, followed by one guy at the back rage-quitting and two more flapping the jump and exploding.

...at this rate, I might as well rubber-band the controller and let that prize ride win itself, because if that's the standard of the competition... 🤭

Tonight was rather...  interesting.

I was gaming with one of the other Scots I mentioned in my last post - just minding our own business doing our stuff.  He was running Cayo preps, I was doing the usual haulage / MOC to divert any griefers.  Naturally along came 2 oppressors in green on the radar (the same organisation) - who fired their complete stock of missiles not understanding why they hadn't destroyed me with their first couple of hits.  As I completed the delivery - destroying one of them while the other went to the Paleto Bay beach for a helicopter, another guy (on an oppressor, but in an orange organisation) sent me a message saying "friendly" - destroying the other green oppressor after a minute.  The other Scot came up in his sparrow and killed the first oppressor guy almost as soon as he took off on his replacement broomstick.

Us Scots (and team Orange) went off past the lighthouse - I wanted to call in my own kosatka and trigger hard mode on Cayo Perico, which I did - and "team green" reappeared on their oppressors again, looking to fight.  Sadly they didn't do too good and we were forced to punish them both into going into passive.  They kept trying to wind us up via text, and eventually came out of passive only after doing a wall breach at Del Perro pier.  They thought they were safe...  An explosive sniper shot knocked one on his back side and they both retreated to the far side - where a single oppressor missile wiped them both out - despite being in a wall breach.  Oops.

They went back into passive to do the breach again before leaving passive - but this time stayed well clear of the walls - so I just hovered above in my avenger and rained hellfire on their heads - they both died again.  I think they worked out it wasn't working in their favour.  Eventually they decided to leave - but not before half the lobby teamed up against them.

The other highlight was a failed tryhard who attempted to get me up in Paleto Bay while my fellow Scot was buying supplies in his Paleto bunker for research - landing his oppressor on a roof while I was minding my own business.  Knowing exactly what he was up to, I took cover where he couldn't get me and sent a nano-drone up to launch his rectal regions into orbit.  He died, then I switched to an RC tank killing him again then backing off to see what he would do.  He went straight for an RC bandito and killed the other Scot almost as soon as he came out the bunker - but this guy wasn't the highlight.  The melee attracted the attention of a god mode player who then killed the other Scot 6 times without taking damage at all.  Suspicious, I came up behind him and landed 7 direct hits with the Khanji railgun and he didn't take any damage at all (I made a clip of it which I'll edit to shorten to the actual hits and upload at some point), so I went into passive mode, picked up the other Scot and we drove to my facility, where we literally just spammed the orbital cannon on the god mode glitcher until he left the session.

All in, a rather productive night, even if not much money was actually made.  Plenty of footage to send to Rockstar and Microsoft for them to do absolutely nothing about glitch abusers as well.

A slight change of pace from last time - and yes, it once again starts with me running MOC haulage.

Simply put, the run had went smoothly, with the delivery going to the stretch along from the Sandy Shores coke lab.  Just as I passed under the railway, I spotted an oppressor coming up fast.  Naturally I slowed down a little and as I guessed, he launched a pile of missiles at me.  A quick check of the player list revealed he was level 311, so he really should have known better when his first 5 missiles didn't do the job.  Regardless, I delivered the truck and played the sad trombone horn for him.  He then launched the rest of his missiles and flew off towards stab city. while I sent the usual mercenaries & mugger - intending for them to get him when he tried to refresh his oppressor.  The poor fool landed in stab city itself, and his gunshots triggered all the bikers to slaughter him (The mercenaries may or may not have been there too - I don't know, I was driving towards the Route 68 facility across from the clubhouse as I know an aircraft spawn is there).

Anyway, in came my Akula - while he called in a nightshark - so I stalked him for about 10 minutes, just coming off radar to throw a couple of missiles at him to prevent him from griefing anyone.  He ran off to the Paleto Bay bunker and hid there for 20 minutes, then sent mercenaries after me and came back outside in the nightshark again.  Now, I had been happy to leave him alone, but the mercenaries needed a response, A couple of rockets were enough to convince him to re-enter hiding and I went off south to fly around off radar in the city not bothering anyone.  He then used ghost organisation and set a 9k bounty on me.

"Fair enough", I thought,  "I'll give him a chance to come after me on a level playing field", hopped into my Toreador and went off around the map collecting the underwater packages for the day.  He decided to use some sort of infinite ghost organisation glitch and hid on his yacht in Paleto Bay for the next 3 hours - and even the jet griefers terrorising the session by this point didn't even do any more than a token pass with missiles - I will admit I gave them a wee hint at where the other guy was hiding, but they didn't bother - likely suspecting if he's on a yacht he'd have the defences on.

Eventually I survived the bounty and sent the guy a message saying "Thanks for the 9k" - he left soon after...

I've had players boost my rides before, a side effect of leaving them unlocked and street parked. At my level though, I'm more than fine to let them get a joyride in. So, recently, I decided to see how long such a thing could last. As I was going off to bed, I decided to set up a car and go afk. I choose one of my more subdued, while still unique lowriders, and placed the ride in a quiet alley before going off to the car meet to circle for the night.

Honestly, I wasn't sure what I'd come back to. I figured if it wasn't just left alone it'd likely be destroyed by some carelessly shot homing missile. A casualty to the meta. Incredibly though, I came back nearly 10 hours later to find my Tornado had been taken to Simeon's dealership and left, undamaged, in his parking lot! I'm not sure what all shenanigans my car got up to while I rested, but I hope whoever used it enjoyed the ride!

I popped on only for an hour or so earlier and after finishing one of my haulage runs (wiping out a determined level 72 guy), I switched to the Toreador.  I had noticed the guy who'd come after me suddenly gained a bounty, so I was thinking of blasting him on the way past for a little extra cash - then I saw a plane flying around over the area - being seemingly chased by an Oppressor to the point he crashed into the side of Mount Chiliad as I entered the tunnel north of the freedom camp.

I held back from the entrance and saw the oppressor circle then enter the tunnel coming directly towards me.  From what I'd witnessed, this was likely no friendly player, so I locked on, fired (which killed him) then boosted out of there and headed off into the sea.  Purely self defence on my part.

What followed was him and two friends trying to kill me in the water with jets (one had a Toreador but kept running for shore when I went off-radar) for the next 45 minutes - spamming party invites and messages.  This guy was just so toxic and called in backup - simply because I'd gone to an area I know griefers don't like chasing you into.  Eventually I headed off into my yacht, turned on the air defences and waited.  Sure enough, one guy came on-board, the initial Mk2 guy sat at the shore by the airport trying to snipe me (when I was inside the yacht) - and the third went to their facility waiting for me to step out to use the orb.

I just took my time, blocked them on xbox one by one (to stop the party invite spam), then sent the initial Mk2 guy a simple, short and sweet message, "Bye..." - and changed sessions.  An examination of the Mk2 guy's stats showed he had a 3.02 K/D (compared to mine which tends to hover around 1.7 - I'm NOT a PvP fan at all), so obviously he was simply raging that he had taken a hit to his K/D and wanted to take it out on me.

Sorry kiddo - better luck next time - and it might help your case if you DON'T fly directly at someone with a Mk2 without making your intentions clear first - because most of the time they WILL take it as a hostile action and respond appropriately.

After completing my last HSW Time Trial I decided to go to the car meet to mod some cars, when I get an invitation for a heist. Silent & Sneaky, it said. I knew better than attempting heists with randoms, this approach in particular. But I was feeling lucky. I joined, hoping not to regret this.

There was the host with another person, both reasonably leveled. And they choose landing on the rooftop. Things looked promising once I saw host acquired Infiltration Suits and gave us both 20% of the cut. A cargobob and a fall into the roof later, he swipes the card to go into the elevator shaft. He got the keycards! We rappel down to the security area. The guards have no helmets and SMGs; he did Duggan Shipments! We stealthily dispose of some guards, until one of us got discovered and someone died. With such smoothness until that point, I begged for the host not to leave. I was glad they didn't. We restart, and the host takes a bold approach to go down the stairs instead, so we followed to the elevator on the fifth level and went down. From there, we took down only the necessary guards without a hitch. Carefully through the basement, only killing the guard behind the counter. Simul-swipe our cards, perfectly pierce the vault without overheating. We're in! Gold, everywhere. We grab it. We hack, quick. We empty the vault with only 20 seconds of spare. Going through the tunnel I said "you better have the EMP", and I was interrupted by the lights going out. He had the EMP! We go upstairs, get rid of one or two and cross the sensors right when the lights go back on.

Outside we managed to stay out of the cops' view until the street. Host grabs a parked Fugitive as the cops detect us, but we just go down the sewers and lose them. The Fugitive needs a speed buff. We get to the seller on North Chumash. A clean $470k. I couldn't believe it! I never ever thought I'd do S&S near-perfectly with randoms. So I thanked him and left.

I had so much time left, that I made this!

Tonight's entertainment for me was mostly courtesy of a Polish griefer (I assume he was polish after running his 2 messages to me through Google Translate anyway)

Anyway - myself and another Scottish guy I know entered a lobby and had seen quite a few PvP messages, so - you know it - I launched a "Haulage" run with the MOC cab.  Before I even passed the Casino, the first wannabe griefer arrived chasing the truck.  I don't even know what vehicle he was in, but he was making a beeline cross-country for me - trying to avoid the roads after I'd left one proximity mine in his path at a junction to slow him down.  My friend had grabbed a Strikeforce and went off radar for a surprise attack on anyone chasing the truck.  However, that first customer wasn't the star of tonight's show.  That privilege belongs to the second guy (I'll call him "The Pole", based on what language Google Translate said his messages were in) who seriously thought that he could kill a truck with an RPG which had resisted his full stock of Oppressor missiles and simply taunted him with the "Sad trombone" horn.  After killing him a couple of times with sticky bombs (and my friend getting another kill in for good measure), we both moved off believing that guy had learned his lesson when he went into passive.  We were wrong...

Anyway, we moved off into the city, did what we needed to with our respective businesses, then my friend had the thought of us going up to the hills behind the observatory with a Terrabyte and a Chernobog.  This attracted the attention of 3 guys in a CEO organisation who'd previously been chasing the first Haulage customer after he'd picked a fight with them (I'll call them "Team Orange" as they were around for about 30 minutes during the events).  Anyway, Team Orange came up and just climbed up and over the Chernobog & the missile launcher for a few minutes when I noticed the Pole coming up near the observatory in passive - then hopping into an oppressor.  Being in the missile launcher mode already and in the back, I prepped a lock-on and launched the second I heard a tone saying I was being locked onto - he managed to launch one missile (Team Orange spotted this and ran for their vehicles), although it hit the hill below me.  The Pole did not stand a chance against a full volley from the Chernobog.  My friend went off after him in a Sparrow, killing him another time then flew off towards the Alamo Sea.  Team Orange also engaged with the Pole once then went towards the Alamo sea themselves, following a grinder doing deliveries to his coke lab there (but not actually interfering with them)

The Pole then decided to follow my friend and Team Orange - and attacked the grinder - prompting all 4 of them to unload on the pole until he started to swim across the Alamo Sea out of their range.  I was approaching at this point with the Akula (which I'd called in the moment he killed the grinder) and dropped a few bombs on his head to prompt him to dive.  He drowned and immediately went into passive mode.  I sent him a message which said simply "Don't grief" - and the response I got translates roughly to "dung on face" - but replace "dung" with the slang term for it.  (I didn't know it read this until I later ran it through google translate)

Team Orange went off to do their own thing over at the train tunnel while the Pole sat in passive for what seemed like a good 10-15 minutes.  I switched over to the Ultralight and my friend was buzzing Team Orange with the Mk1 Oppressor (not actually shooting, just flying around them - friendly stuff) - and I spotted the Pole flying over in a sparrow - coming out of passive as he passed the Ultralight which he clearly didn't see (Muffled prop) - He tried a few shots at my friend and team Orange - failing some more - then spotted my ultralight flying directly at him and tried unleashing everything he had at it - completely missing with every single homing missile - while my friend with the Mk1 Oppressor blasted him out of the sky easily - forcing him back onto foot and killing him some more as he went towards the western coast.  As soon as he could - yep, he went passive again - this time until he could get close enough to the road to call in a broomstick.  Once again he didn't last very long.  He went gunning for my friend (destroying the Mk1, but failing to get the kill) - not realising I was close to hand and called in my own broomstick when I saw what he was up to and he promptly died then went swimming out to see again.

As a change of pace, I called in my Blazer Aqua and followed him closely - sending a few bullets his way when he popped his head up until he went into passive again.  He eventually walked along the motorway down to Vespucci Beach in passive.  My friend went AFK to answer the door and I saw the Pole call in a jet - so I went straight for it with my Blazer aqua guns blazing - and doing critical damage to the jet - but he was still able to take off and send a missile at my friend who'd went AFK in a vehicle - but he didn't get far, abandoning his jet to parachute down onto his yacht.  The next hour was essentially us backing off to try and do other stuff, him getting a sparrow / broomstick and trying to kill us, but him getting killed instead then running back to his yacht to hide with the air defences up.  Eventually - for whatever reason - he called the moon pool sub and went off up the coast.  My friend - being a little peeved at being targeted over and over by this guy, grabbed his Toreador and hunted him down in the water - claiming his first ever torpedo kill.

After that the Pole just tried getting a couple more kills (failing consistently) and eventually left the session during a business battle.  My friend claimed that the guy had a K/D of 4.0 at the initial time he was trying to stop the haulage run.  I don't know what his K/D was at the end of it, but my friend had 19 kills to the Poles 2, and I had 12 to his 1.  I'm not even a good player.  I'm just persistently sneaky.

I had a very nice change of pace tonight.  I only had one "customer" for my MOC haulage runs - and he was idiotic enough stop his oppressor Mk2 right in front of me as I was throwing a sticky bomb at him  If he hadn't of died in the double-explosion from the sticky bomb and his broomstick going nuclear, he would've been squashed.  He immediately quit and left the session in peace.  (I may or may not have had to visit the car wash to get his bloodstains from the front of the cab).

After a quick Cayo Perico run (my first in a couple of months, really) I went back into another lobby, triggered the hard mode for my next Cayo run and decided to swing by the car meet in my "Taxi" Weeny Dynasty for the free rep & 5k.  As I was driving back to my nightclub for a quick DJ change another player drove past (in passive), quickly turned around and sent a message to me to "Wait".  He called in his own Dynasty "Taxi" and we actually spent a couple of hours chatting away, showing each other our various collections of vehicles (He's very keen on the "modded" vehicles using the "merge" glitch to get wheels and liveries / paint that isn't usually applicable to vehicles - and actually has TWO Lost Slamvans in the same garage)

Eventually I said that I was going to quickly fly my Pegasus Besra round the city to see what was happening then call it a night, so he went off.  All in, a very positive night.

One thing happened afterwards in the 5 minutes I stayed online, however.  As I was flying in my Besra (an unarmed jet), another player took off from LSIA with a Strikeforce and immediately started shooting at me (granted, I had been flying almost directly at him in a jet), so I just led him on a little chase around the city - he lost interest initially and turned to go towards a couple of guys on the beach, so I turned around and buzzed him with the Besra - he took the bait and went for me again.  Now, I was just playing around - expecting to get shot down pretty quickly, but not a single one of his shots managed to connect - and as I went weaving around and between the city centre skyscrapers (expecting to crash into one myself at any moment), he wound up crashing into the side of FIB building and immediately quit.

I have to say, that is the first time I've ever won a dogfight in a jet - and I wasn't even armed!!!

Last night I popped online for a short while - and wound up in the same session as my 2 nephews (the older one hadn't seen my Weeny Dynasty taxi before) and was astonished I was driving around in a taxi)  We did mess around for a while, then I went to call in a dump truck near the Chinese monument - oinly to find it was blocked by a bulldozer sitting on the pegasus spawn point, so I got into it, drove out onto the road then called it in - and had the idea of seeing if we could reach the top of the map without being blown up driving the bulldozer and dump.  The older nephew didn't have anything that could be classed as "Construction equipment" to drive, so I called in my RCV for him.

Along the entire route, only one player stopped long enough to see what was going on - and they were doing steal supplies missions for their bunker in Paleto Bay, so they didn't hang around long.  There were 2 people in jets doing hanger missions as well, but I'm not sure if they ever came close enough to see us.

Long story short, the bulldozer got into Paleto Bay building site, but my older nephew switched to his Toreador in Paleto Bay itself and "pressed the wrong button" - exploding his brother who was driving the dump truck when it was literally 2 turns from the end.

I know, Sonny Evans has done similar stuff before - and I didn't stop for any "quick sprunk stops" - although 3 e-cola box trucks did try interfering with the RCV when it was trying to keep the NPCs out of our way.  (Any that cut in got lifted out the way by the Bulldozer scoop, lol)

awesomefoot

Just finished another Prison Contract. Headed to a garage to grab my Armored Kuruma and make lightwork of it. Then I noticed my Nightshark which I've never really driven. Hopped in it instead to spice things up. I knew the armor wouldn't be as good and it wasn't. Also the machine guns meant none of the weapons layout inside the car. Chaos ensued. I ended up running over the 4 guys. Leaving the prison, I had to climb out and shoot open the gates, chewing through body armor. It was a long drive to catch up with the Prison Bus, smashing cop cars and having more armor peeled off with their ridiculously stupid accuracy. As soon as I went to aim at the Prison Bus with the machine guns, I noticed the aim auto lowered to the tires. I guess the tires are bullet proof too. I tried swerving over the machine gun to get a shot or two into the driver before it lowered. Cop cars were all over me at the point when the driver finally climbed out and the engine was on fire. Lil Dee ran out and hopped in my car as the Prison Bus blew up seconds later. From there I headed for the city the quickest way possible, climbing hills until I dropped over near Vinewood sign. I finally lost the cops by the Vinewood Bowl and dropped Dee off.

I feel like I got lucky with the Prison Bus not blowing up with Lil Dee in it or close enough to die but it was an awesome narrow escape.
