Virtual-Antics

I logged into GTA Online after some time away. I wasn't in the mood for crime, just cruised around for a bit, and visited my Wild Oats Drive apartment.

It was pretty much about enjoying the small things. I had a glass of wine, hit the bong, and watched a low level 8 or 9 player have a crazy car case on Weazel News. Then, I went back outside and went on a late night road trip with my Dominator GTX. For a little while I parked on a hill and enjoyed the view overlooking the city. The whole time I obeyed the traffic laws and the experience felt fresh. Afterwards, I spent a lot of $$$ on the Arena War t shirts and switched up my character's style.

Tomorrow, you should jazz it up a bit by walking along a pavement then staring at the duck pond in the cemetery lol

I was doing an I/E mission this evening where I had to drive the car to Chumash. When I was juuuuust about to the drop point a player in a vigilante comes up behind me and destroys my vehicle then messages me saying "lol." I message back "no big deal" because it is what it is, I had another high end car waiting in my warehouse I could turn around and sell. When I was walking back up to the road from the beach where I spawned, the player drives up next to me and asks if I want to drive. Feeling cheeky I took him up on his offer, and once he was in the car i aimed it at the ocean, activated the boost and sent us both flying into the ocean destroying the car. We both got a kick out of my brilliant idea that I messaged him saying we were even (even though I lost out on all the money, but what can you do). We went our separate ways and he didn't bother me the rest of the session. I've run across my fair share of assholes in this game but encounters like this is what makes me love this game and it's the reason I play as often as I do.

I rarely go into the public free roam lobbies but I felt a bit adventurous this weekend. So at first I hopped in my Torero and cruised up to a nearby convenience store. I killed the clerk, grabbed the money and had the cops chase me up the western highway towards Paleto Bay. As I was speeding past the military base, I noticed another playing heading my way. We zoomed past each other and I could only imagine the look on their face as I passed by since I had about 4 police cars chasing me at high speed.

After getting away from the cops, I went to the Sandy Shores airport and hopped into one of the stunt planes that had spawned. I then spent about 30 minutes flying at tree top level through downtown Los Santos, knifing my way between buildings and flying under over passes, all the while other players were driving around killing each other. Surprisingly, not one player ever took a shot at me.

yesterday during a marathon freeroam session, at one point there was another high-level CEO org in our lobby, and we were doing Piracy while they happened to be flying past our Chumash anchorage in the middle of a bunker supply mission.     the glorious sight of a cargobob carrying a Rhino tank with two Akulas flying support, wasting the AI buzzards that were *trying* to hassle them has been with me all day today.

that is all.

I spawned in my bunker at the scrapyard and noticed there were 3 low levels (15 and under) driving around and killing each other not too far away. I got out and drove my Opressor over to them and when the missiles locked on to one of them I was about to fire when I noticed he was driving a tractor. I decided to sit back instead and watch him because I knew it could be entertaining.

I watched this level 9 player drive that tractor straight into Bollingbroke Penitentiary where he was promptly mowed down by security guards. I don't know what he thought was going to happen, but it was the most entertaining thing I've seen in a public lobby in a long time

See, I like doing dumb stuff like that just for kicks.

One of my favorite dumb things to do is head to the freeway downtown and play Frogger.

The rules are simple. Start at one shoulder, near the section of freeway in downtown LS that doesn't have a jersey barrier in the middle. Then sprint across the highway without looking until you reach the opposite shoulder..or until you get hit by a car and killed. Just haul ass straight across. No dodging or stopping allowed. You just have to hope you get lucky. Hard mode is during rush hour.

I once caused a multi-car pileup doing this when an AI car tried to avoid hitting me and bashed into a few other cars. It was even funnier when a car I didn't see came out of nowhere and tenderized me.

Had a kid rage quit today because I stole the business battle goods from him. The goods were in an insurgent so he hopped on his MKII only to discover that he couldn't lock on to the insurgent and I was swerving like a drunken maniac to avoid his missiles. Drove the insurgent back to my nightclub without an issue, he said some choice words over the chat and then left. It's a business BATTLE not business "whoever gets there first gets to have the goods"

I don't normally care for PVP stuff but I actually kinda like the business battles. I don't usually go for them though because most of the time I'm horrendously outgunned.

Today I was in a session and competed in a business battle. Hold on to your hats coz this is where sh*t gets crazy.... Nobody used a mk2 to try and blow up the halftrack I was in 😱😱😱😱  I didn’t even see a mk2 the whole session. Did I somehow master time travel?

I have a confession to make. And it's not an easy one.. Here goes:

I've been watching MrBossFTW videos daily for god knows how many months to keep myself updated on GTA news ;-;

That is.. Until RDR2 came out.

once the GTA videos had stopped, and were very far between all the RDR2 spam, I was able to break free and I'm proud to say that I'm MrBossFTW free for about 9 months now.

Usually I couldn't care less about console games but I gotta say.. I love RDR2 for helping me overcome this hard chapter in my life ^^

Of course, once I learned about how ABSOLUTELY sh*tTY the online is for RDR2, and how those cheap bastards are sticking with the peer to peer connection instead of dedicated servers, I'm gonna pirate the sh*t out of it once it hits PC, play it once, spit on it's grave and never look back, but I still love it :)

Glorious freeroam session last night.

Recently i lost all sense of reason and bought another xbox so i could create another character on a different gamertag and automatically have an associate on my team, to enable me to run Most Wanted and Point-to-point between VIP work and Terrorbyte jobs and thus never, ever be at risk of getting raided--well, almost.   you know what i mean.

So far it's going pretty well for her.    She's made about 2-million GTA$ and is level 27 and has yet to even fire a shot at another player.     K/D of 0.00 with zero player kills and zero killed by players.    Somehow, magically, she's only even been SHOT AT by a single really angry jet pilot who strafed us in the construction tower for 15 minutes while we sat there during Most Wanted.   A couple single-digit levels nearly crashed a stolen plane on her, but i'm not sure it was on purpose.    She's really good-looking, but that doesn't usually stop people.    Could be her level 750 escort.

Anyway, i was just racking up RP and cash for a couple hours while spending about a total of 10 minutes with the controller in hand.    Then, eventually someone on my friend list joined the game, and i let him know i was basically afk but there was easy money to be made if he was interested, so suddenly i'm running Headhunter and Plowed in addition to what i was already doing.      He carried on doing that for about an hour, and i finally finished my chores and started playing in earnest.

With perfect timing, my best GTA homeboy logged in right about then, and we just dominated the lobby once again.    PIracy, Diamonds, Fortified, LifeInvader, Headhunter, Ramped Up, Exec Search, etc., etc... filled in with a Most Wanted as needed in the event that a cooldown snuck up on me.   So damn beautiful.

There were a lot of highlights.    The poor level 20 who wandered along the coastal highway seeing the yellow yacht out there unguarded thinking he'd grab a chopper of the beach, only to discover what it's like to get ass-reamed by three Akulas.    The level 700-something who went after our guy in a jet on his jetbike as we raced back to the city for the diamond store, only to discover two other jetbikes right behind him coming in hot.    That guy at least put up some resistance.   He killed my homeboy a couple times, called a mugger on him, and even paid $750k to wax me with the Orbital Cannon.    (I f*cking love it when that happens!   HA!)     The random helpers i was able to hire after our other guy called it quits for the night.

I only made about $500k with my CEO, but my new gal was well up over $1mil with all the job cash i kicked her way.      Also her stealth ability is already maxed out from all the crouching in a circle she does.   lol.     Best part was at the end of the night my buddy and i both had full bunkers to sell, and nobody left in the lobby to contend with, so we cleared them out, topped off the supplies, and started the whole process over again with a nice relaxing night for our characters in their apartment enjoying the same old episode of Impotent Rage.

Considering there is a pretty big sale with it being Independence Week on GTA, idk what i wanna buy.

Nightclub renovations? Facility? Bunker? Hangar? Terrorbyte? MOC? Arena Workshop? (god i want to shut up those annoying pay-to-shut-up phone calls.)

Haven't bothered checking but i wanna branch out and get more money from my MC, are the properties on Open Road discounted, or the prices still the same, if so that's gonna be a bombshell considering i am money hungry right now. I could just continue with my Doomsday grinding, which often ends in failure.

so i was doing crate running in last weeks double money and i could not get rid of my wanted level

i could not see any cops on the map yet the radar still flashing, after a little while i called lester and that did the trick but as soon as a ran a npc over i got a wanted level and again it would not go away and i thought i had no cops anywhere near me so i waited and called lester again and then i saw what the problem was

Spoiler

turns out a police officer somehow spawned inside the back of the truck

i could not see him on the map because hes right on top of me

Today I saw someone who went off radar, but he was still showing on the map.

Only for like 4 sec tho, maybe a glitch.

late last night i did mc club business (forged documents) sale, unfortunately i got the postal van sale and i was lone wolfing it.

i made 4 drops and i was on my way to make the 5th drop when i got attacked by a deluxo griefer (i killed him).

i made the 5th drop and i was on my way to grapeseed to get the next van but a war erupted in grapeseed with me fighting 3 griefers and my next van was destroyed so i tried to get the last van but i kept getting killed and time was running out i called for my khanjali, i died one more time while getting in my tank, i failed to complete my sale.

that was the first time i fought a war in grapeseed over a mc sale.🤣

Wars in grapeseed, in my experience, usually start with a frustrating convoy mission, and evolve from there.  Used to have a bunker there.  Farmhouse is much better.

When I see a crew start "Haulage" in Freemode, I become like Jimmy the Gent in "Goodfellas", I just have to try and steal it.

A crew of two started the mission, and after a pretty lengthy battle which saw me repeatedly trying to ram their truck off the road with my armoured Hauler to cause it to fishtail and detach, I finally manage to hook on and deliver it with seconds to spare.

I get the obligatory message across XBOX Live, and instead of the usual abuse and wishing me dead, I open it to read "hey gg. could you help us at all?"

Seeing as they were good sports and asked nicely, of course I did. So I became a CEO bodyguard for a while and helped them sell some cars and do some other stuff. Made a nice change tbh

Nothing amazing about that, but I am usually fiercely against playing with others.

Nice story, and kinda surprising they didn't leave the session right before you delivered the trailer.

I ended up bodying these two so bad they actually left the session and came back to reset the score lmao

The first one I had 6-0, he had to rejoin to reset the score lol

The second one I kept killing with the fully loaded ruiner, kept re joining until they activated ghost after their friend orbitaled me lol then they threatened too boot me with party invites.

I consider it an honor to make tryhard mad enough to use a orbital on me lmaoo🤣😋

Most of us are usually aggressive as we play, but that is something rare that's not often seen in this environment.

I do very much enjoy interacting with those kinds of players - lots of them became friends on SC along the way. 👍

late last night while i was doing a nightclub sale in my fully upgraded speedo custom, a low level random (around level 38) came after me on a mk2 broomstick.

he tried to hit me with (i think) gunfire, so i dropped proxie mines and destroyed him, he didn't come back and he left.🤣

I won't lie, but i can pretty much tell that people that have a clusterheck of I's in the name is an obvious hint that they clearly are using a modded account.

As for my stories, i'll just explain them quietly though they technically belong in Heist Failure Stories.

The dude piloting the Savage on the Dead Courier mission could barely fly for him being a level 150'ish person, he even hovered for five minutes and constantly send police helicopters at us. I mashed a text message out to him telling him "Fly away!" and then soon after one of the paramedics is sending me a message simply telling me to "Just fly straight", and then i rebuff him telling him that i ain't the pilot of the Savage.

Funny enough, the game throws me a bronze, and the "unprofessional" Savage pilot got a Platimum medal, post-setup the CEO enabled friendly fire, wasn't in the mood for fighting but the CEO killed his other two associates but i grabbed my Compact and fired it at his nearby Beejay (SecuroServ vehicle) and killed him.

Doomsday, someone quit after second attempt.

Data Breaches Heist, Level 23 is funny enough, host of the heist. He died around 7 times until someone just gave up and left.

My only successful one was being tapped into a setup for the Barrage ATV for Act III, the Level 40 host (Just him and level 104 me) couldn't drive, and died near the end, i did get my 26K at the end, but just lost my mood in playing further and just turned in for the night.

All those funds towards an MOC won't be happening i guess, more grinding i presume (Probably will just do a mix of I/E and my warehouse)
