1.) Decided to try a supply run in a medium-sized lobby. Got stuck driving a slow, defenseless Bagger across the map. As I'm approaching the city, I see an Oppressor and an APC appear on the map. An armored Kuruma joins in on the fun once I get into the city limits. The Oppressor doesn't get involved but plotting a route while dodging a Kuruma and an APC was a lot of fun. Getting pelted by bullets from the Kuruma while dodging explosions from the APC. The APC eventually got the Kuruma, then it was just explosions everywhere. I actually got the supplies dropped off safely, then went after the APC. I whipped up a spicy Habanero and went OTR. Blew up the APC in one go, and was charged $20,000.00 for vanquishing my foes. GG R*.

2.) Joined a low-level's MC last night to help out. Empty lobby except for us 3 and some guy that's been in his bunker for 30 minutes or so. Dude starts a supply run. I get there, kill everyone, grab some supplies and head across the map to make the drop. I pass my two club mates as their heading towards the pickup. As I'm spawning outside the business after making my drop, the killfeed is on fire. Turns out the guy that's been asleep in his bunker for the last half hour couldn't resist griefing two low-levels. I hop back on my bike and head back across the map. I get there in time to save the remaining package. Ten or so kills later, it becomes clear that the conflict isn't going to go the way Griefer Mcgrieferson wanted. The easy kills are now en route to the MC business, and he's now stuck with me. A few more uncontested kills and he tucks tail and heads for the air force base in typical griefer fashion. He grabs a Lazer, starts a Headhunter, and goes about his merry way. He got $2000 for the crate he destroyed, but spent $5000+ in hospital bills and ammo.

This is exactly what I said. The lobby has less than 10 people. Me and my friend total 6 messing around killing each other very much like having a war. This guy coming behind us, got killed again and again. Turned out he was in bunker setup mission. Inevitable, boom!

Shouldn't get close to war zone if you are trying to make money.

Few weeks back was doing some I/E and as I was leaving on a sale a guy was dropping his car into the same garage, we instantly crashed losing me money.

So I carried on and completed my sale and when i left the garage I could see him approaching on the map, so I dropped proximity mines all around the entrance to the garage and watched as the vehicle he had sourced blew up mere inches sort of the garage.

I know he probably didn't mean to hit me, but pay back was sweet.

Me and my gal pal decided to do a little piracy prevention up at mount Gordo. All was calm until 6 minutes in there a jet is heading right for us. We duck and take cover and for 5 minutes the jet keeps trying to blow us up, back and fourth until he crashed. He spawns on shore so we snipe him then once it's over we get on our jet skies, go ghost, call a mugger on him and get out of there.

We decide to make a pit stop at the Sandy Shore gun shop because us ladies like keeping well stocked on our ammo and we see him coming right for us. We hide in the motel of death and booby trap it but he goes passive. We leave and he follows us, we go back and he heads to the military base. While we are chillin in the motel of death I see his jet coming for us. I hop on my pink oppressor (the bike I love and hate) launch myself up in the air and take him out. He quickly leaves the session.

I was trucking down the I-1 during Haulage & a wild sticky thrower appeared in a Rocket Voltic. After a couple of misses he drives next to me & prepares to throw yet again, only for me to push him to the barrier in the middle of the highway & let him blow himself up ... He quit the session lol.

I thought sticky throwers went extinct once the kuruma showed up. GTAO never changes lol

I thought the Rocket Voltic went extinct a month or two after I/E!

I drove mine around a few days ago. The jet engine feels so underpowered compared to the Oppressor.

So I murdered 3 people and was taking their bodies to the mountains and as I was driving and there was this cop car that was coming up, I got nervous as hell. They were looking for a vehicle the one I was driving because i'm sure someone saw me abduct the third person. Anyways, I drove to a position where the cop passed by me and my God did I ever breathe a sigh of relief. Could you imagine getting caught with three dead bodies? That'd be a f*cking crazy.

The Punisher has been summoned and is now out there looking for you, god HELP you when he finds you because he will unleash the worst punishment ever known to humanity! May god have MERCY on your soul you murdering son of a b*tch! Edited by HOUSTON_SHERIFF

I always minded my own business when I came across other players selling stuff.. until yesterday.

I was in my buzzard when I saw two guys exporting a couple of cars right below me. I couldn't resist, I had to try. Now I understand why a lot of people do this. However, I don't think I'll do it anymore.

Helluva night last night. But first, a little backstory...

With the exception of Burnout Paradise, GTAO is the only PvP game I've ever played. Interacting with the toxic, cancerous player base in GTAO free roam was a akin to traversing the ninth level of Hell, but the actual game itself was phenomenal. I didn't have the PvP skills to hold my own, but there was still so much to do and so much fun to create for yourself.

Then I met my first online friend. A few minutes later, he introduced me to his other friend and real-life bestie. We banded together and had a blast. Weeks. Months. Years. We went from level 15's and 20's to level 500's together. We created a crew... But I didn't join. I'm not a crew person. I don't follow orders. I have lowkey issues with authority. On top of that, one of my two long-time friends had come to develop serious control issues. What he said went. It was his way or the highway. We'd lag a lobby or get into a small lobby, and he'd get on the mic and announce that he was the lobby moderator, that it was a peaceful lobby, and anyone that attacked anyone would be dealt with. If a name popped up in the kill feed, he demanded answers. These were still good friends, but I remained an honorary member of the crew. I wanted no part of those shenanigans. You can't tell adults what to do. Online.

What was surprising, though, was that people actually went with it. Crew members and randos alike. I dunno if he was overly charismatic, or people were afraid of our numbers, but he really did somehow effectively moderate most lobbies. And when opposition arose, the crew was on them like rabid piranhas.

If someone stood their ground, or killed him enough times, or stroked his ego by telling him how "cool and awesome" he was, he'd invite them to the crew. The crew grew to be fairly big. Then we encountered this one guy... I had run across him before. He was a friend of a friend of someone in the group. Trolling was his thing. He's be in lobbies using different voices. Different accounts. He was good. Full-blown tryhard when he was in the mood. He rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but the crew leader invited him into the crew. And he ran with us for a while. 6 or 7 months.

Our crew leader had an issue, though. Despite being 40+ years old, he had a thing for young girls online. Legal, for the most part, 17 or so into their early 20's. He'd start off like a father figure, then gradually (or not so gradually), he'd go into full-on creeper mode. Creepy, inappropriate comments. Eventually, he'd go into possessive boyfriend mode, telling them when they had to be online, and who they could and couldn't play with. Again, it's crazy how some of these girls actually went along with it. But I digress. One day, the troll guy offended one of the leader's girls...

Long story short, they fell out. All the way out. After a particularly nasty online shouting match, the leader threatened/challenged the troll. The rest of the crew backed away slowly. Both of these guys were our "friends" more or less, so the fight was between them. The crew leader was a decent player, but he was accustomed to playing with 10 people backing him up. He got stomped. The troll guy dragged him all around the lobby. But he didn't stop there. He lost it. He unleashed his full troll, griefer fury. He called up his modded, tryhard, griefer friends to wreak havoc. Seven or eight Hydras carpet bombing any lobbies that the crew leader was in...

So, collectively, we deleted him. But it didn't stop him, he was still showing up in lobbies wreaking havoc regularly. So we began blocking/deleting people that we thought he was using to get into our lobbies. Still didn't stop him. Wildfire actually explained how he was doing it here. We fixed the issue and got rid of him.

But the crew leader was mentally/emotionally scarred or something. He demanded that everyone delete anyone on their friend's list that knew or was associated with the troll guy. Now, the troll was a piece of work, don't get me wrong, but we had an alliance with the crew he was with before he snapped. These were legitimately cool dudes. Really chill guys. I refused. My friends list is MY friends list. My own father can't tell me who I can and can't hang out with. After days of back and forth, I was advised that if I didn't delete who I was told to delete, I'd be deleted and excommunicated. I'd be losing my original PSN besties, but I don't do ultimatums. Ever. I was kicked out.

Unbeknownst to me at the time, he didn't stop there. He then gave the rest of the crew a similar ultimatum. Delete me, or they'd all be kicked and/or deleted. The next day, I'm lone wolfing it (which is how I'm most comfortable anyway) and my now-old crew members start popping into my lobby. Turns out, pretty much everyone refused to delete me, and the crew was essentially dissolved. I got a little teary-eyed, LOL.

The leader built a new crew. Now, I don't know if it was the fact that we had the audacity to create a new crew without him, or the fact that our crew logo was the previous crew log with a cross through it, but it incensed our old crew leader. Bad blood began to boil. And he blamed it all on me. Apparently, if I had done what I was told, the old crew would still be together. I forced him to dismantle the crew. It all fell apart, and it's all my fault. I ruined everything.

If any of us wound up in his lobbies (by accident or on purpose), he'd demand that we leave "his lobby". Verbal sparring matches ensued. I'm a REALLY nice guy, but I can get under your skin when I want to. The insults and trash talk that ensured were the stuff of internet legend. Over time sporadic battles between the groups began to break out. Eventually, it became war.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program:

At this point, the guy held an unimaginable disdain for me. One night, after I had been particularly caustic to him and his new crew (after sufficient provocation, mind you) he broke down and began yelling "I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" into the mic. I giggled on the inside. He really did hate me though. So much so, I was later informed, that he couldn't risk the possibility of actually losing to me. He wouldn't be able to deal with it. I'm not proclaiming that I'm a great player or anything like that, but that's how serious he was. Anytime I wound up in a lobby with him, he'd go passive, go to his office, pull up his XMB and send invites to everyone he knew that played GTAO. You could literally watch the lobby roster fill up with crew members. All for little ol' me.

When he had 10 or so friends in the room, he'd go ghost and come out of his office. The only kill he ever got off me was when he shot me in the back while he was in ghost. I got my kill back, and he retreated to his office. From that point forward, the only time he'd ever come out of his office, much less attack me, was when the lobby was full of his people, I was preoccupied with them, and he could hit me from a safe distance. I'd be knee deep in 3 or 4 of his tryhard lackeys, and I'd hear sniper round ricocheting inches away. Or explosions nearby. He'd literally stand on top of skyscrapers and shoot rockets and/or sniper rounds at me while I was fighting his minions. Pitiful stuff. But he'd never get close. Our battle ratio remained 1/1 for months. He never killed me again despite the fact that he only took cheap shots while I was under attack and engaging other players.

Until last night. Me and a couple of friends wound up in his lobby unintentionally. I watched the lobby roster gradually fill up with his people. Once he was satisfied with the amount of backup, the ten or so of them started in on the three of us. Then he appeared. Outside of his apartment. Out of passive. Out of ghost mode. Like an apparition. I plugged in my "serious" controller and prepared for war. My hands were shaking. I was going to take an L from someone I hated, or I was going to obliterate his world.

He kept 3 of his heaviest hitters on top of me at all times. Tryhards. BST and BP helmets. I don't do either. Ever. So I'm operating at a distinct disadvantage. But this is for all the marbles. All or nothing. Naturally, his people are outgunning me. I'm getting my kills in, but they can give and take twice the damage I can. No matter. He's my mission in life ATM. I fought alongside the dude for YEARS, so I know exactly how he plays. He's a moderately good sniper, but he's hot garbage up close and personal...

I down two of his cohorts, and move away from the third that was attempting to flank me. I'm heading straight for my nemesis. I hear whizzing and explosions. He's using explosive sniper rounds. I'm charging in fearlessly, in and out of cover, I get within range and lay him down. He has me blocked, so I can't hear anything he says, but I KNOW he was seething with rage. He respawns and I go after him. His cronies are closing in, though, so I have to stop and deal with them. Eventually, I get free of them and we square off again. I've got sniper rounds coming from multiple directions, but I'm nonplussed. His marksman dance doesn't help him and I down him again.

He leaves. Not the session, but he spawns again and moves away from me. He maintains his distance and does not attack me again. By now, more of his people have entered the room, and 5 or 6 of them are making a beeline for me, so I'm about to see the clouds a lot, but I beat him. Utterly defeated him. Sent him on his way. He finally came out of his cocoon to challenge me, lost, and gave up. His best "soldiers" couldn't save him. I broke him.

This was literally my first PSN friend ever.

Oh, well...

...well, yesterday I helped bail out a CEO on a botched Mobile Operation - and did so like an absolute legend. Lemme explain:

Mole Hunt - three players: me, the CEO hosting, and his mate, both in the same crew as each other. Everything's going fine right up until the final drive home, when a Merryweather Mesa pins the CEO's buddy, and the mercs murder the guy. He respawns, and I go back to help him out, but then a Mesa blows up, taking out his Tampa - mission failed.

CEO restarts, but just as we're about to load from the final checkpoint, teammate guy quits. That leaves us with three Tampas, but only two of us still playing - and I guess correctly that the mission won't end until all three are delivered to the drop-off. So while CEO guy sits in his Tampa, probably wondering what I'm doing, and why the mission hasn't ended, I run down on to the highway, grab the nearest vaguely-fast thing I can find, and head off into a sea of endlessly-spawning Mesas to grab the final Tampa.

And of course the best car spawning was a Futo - because it's not like I needed masses of grip to pull it off, right? :beerhat:

What followed was like something from an action movie - I dodged, ducked under gunfire, and even took a detour into the storm drain to shake off pursuit. Granted, when I stopped at the Tampa, two Mesas pulled up and drilled me in seconds, but no biggie - just respawned, took the car, and blasted my way back to the drop-off, with a whole load of smoking 4x4s behind me.

And the best part? Even though we had to restart from the very last checkpoint, because the whole thing took an extra 10 minutes, we both walked away with a tidy $32k, thanks to my efforts. I don't get many moments where I feel like a total hero, but that sure was one of 'em...

After some CEO stuff done for various crew members, a dude showed up in our crew-filled public lobby, and started shooting at us.

We retaliated, with full force. It was a 15 vs 1, it took about an hour, and it ended in a 4 vs 1.

The multiple kills made us spawn farther and farther, slowly leaving Del Perro to end up all the way across Tongva Hills.

He actually was quite good, managing to get a kill at each spawn at least. The funniest parts of this manhunt were shooting all around the gardens in west Vinewood, vineyard, and eventually pinning him down in the open with 3 friends on foot and me in a Rhino cornering him in the small river and blind firing with that good old tank...

A great fight :D

Today I actually won a Deadline match, and after the match was put into a public lobby with one other player. We agreed to ignore each other so I was able to sell months old stock at a warehouse. Then the lobby split us up so I was alone.

*imagine a glorious screenshot here of my character and only 1 gamertag in the player lobby list when you press down on the dpad as for some reason I can no longer copy images after an update to my sh*tty tablet*

Only problem was I had to take my dog out so couldn't take advantage of it :(

Had a pretty cool car meet today and it even planned. Ended up in a session with a few friends then more started to join in(didn't invite them to session) so we decided to take out our best cars and meet up. We were the entire session so it was nice and peaceful. I won second place.

Nice to see a couple forum members there too :)
