Black Terminator

So I was in this session with a bunch of loud foul players that kept on dropping the n bomb and n that. I was minding my own business and then a few of those thugs that were fighting each other decided to target me after I was just defending myself. I can tell you those people on the mic sounded like high school drop outs with no ounce of intelligence at all. One by one they tried to come at me all because I blew up one guy's insurgent who was coming after me. Then they started crying on the mic all because I killed each one of them 10 times each. So I decided to get my tank just to test them even further and see them rage. I got what i wanted in the session. Just a bunch of cry baby high school drop out wannabe tough guys who won't do anything in real life like they said they were.

I entered a session where a CEO group of 3 were playing Headhunter. Everyone knows the objective of Headhunter. The CEO group has to assassinate the targets in the time limit and the other players in the room have to stop them assassinating the targets. They had (had being the word) jets and choppers so i took them out in my jet. Then when they got in a car i took them out again. I stopped them from assassinating the targets and won the challenge and got everyone else in the room a cheeky little bit of money. I know, Hurrahh! Then all of a sudden i get 2 votes to kick me from the session. It was obviously them so i said to them I'd report them for abusing the kick feature. They claimed i was a griefer and said they had also reported me. I told them that it was my job to stop them assassinating the targets and that that was the game, but they didn't like it.

Hate people who cry over a game. :panic:

There's this belief that CEO missions are just givens and that people should leave groups alone (except for Piracy Prevention).

I look at things like Headhunter as a challenge. If I'm against four players and their task is relatively easy, then it's a good challenge for me to prevent them doing what they please. I'm not griefing, I'm playing the game.

I think the obvious exception is delivering CEO cars. Common decency/Golden Rule/law of reciprocity usually dictates that those sorts of things are to be left alone. Let people make their money. There's no need to use a jet just to be a prick. You don't gain anything from it. There's no monetary reward.

I'd say 60% of the time people try and attack me when playing Headhunter. I'm perfectly fine with it, its the game. I'd never throw my toys out of the pram and start kicking people like a child that hasn't gotten its own way. The extra challenge is good fun win or lose.

A good 50% of the time people try to attack me when playing CEO cars. Usually in choppers and jets. But you can go off the radar and have other ways to outsmart them, so i see that as fair game too. Here's a cool vid of someone trying to destroy my CEO car in a chopper.

I sometimes try and destroy or steal others CEO cars but in inventive ways. For example. Getting a high wanted level in a Ruiner 2000 or an armoured kuruma and just driving in their vicinity is fun. They get hails of crazy police cars in their way and crash the car bits, lol. Or finding where their warehouse is and placing mines in the entrance. A guy fell for that one 4 times in a row the other week (He killed me first) Then he sent me a text saying he hoped my mother was dead, lol. Some people may say i'm a bit of a c*nt for doing it. But i see it as a way for them to learn and get better. You live and learn as the old saying goes. After all, how boring would it be if everyone did the same thing all the time.

That's cool and all, but the CEO car deliveries are seen as a grinding/money making thing. Much more so than Headhunter, et al. I don't bother blowing people up. People can't really "learn and get better" when there's a jet after them. Anyone with skill can dodge homing launchers, so the person has to pull out all the stops to avoid getting shot down. Ghost Organization is costly and off the radar is only good for so long, so that tactic seems counter intuitive to a degree.

I'd rather let people make their money with cars, but challenge them when it's an actual challenge. As opposed to ruining their CEO stuff for your own amusement, which let's be real, is the primary reason people do that sort of thing.

Of course they can learn and get better. They can learn ways to avoid the jets or take the jets down. Homing launchers aren't the only way to take down a jet. What i learned to do if a jet was after me when delivering a CEO car is to get out of the car and run a little way away from it so it makes it harder for the person in the jet to see and they always seem to aim for you thinking your standing right beside it. Then you can damage the jet and make it smoke with guns. Once the jet is smoking it then starts to stall and homing rockets will hit it. Or homing and standard rockets work if you catch them when the jet is swooping in towards you. Even experienced users in jets get hit by them. Or once you've made the jet smoke from gunfire they often fly off to get another jet. While their doing that you deliver the car. Even if they shoot you they often miss the car and can't see it because you ran away from it. Or you can park up under some cover as i did in the video above, get out and deal with the jets and choppers. Or you can go off the radar, ghost organisation etc. If your good at driving you can drive a long distance in a 1 minute off the radar. You have 2 choices with off the radar. 1.Use it as soon as you leave your warehouse. This means nobody will even head in your direction for an entire minute as they don't know your even there. Or 2. Wait until you see or think someone is coming for you and then go off the radar and use that minute to escape. As for Ghost Organization, its only 12k. You still make a profit on the vehicle even going solo. You should always check the map before you try to deliver a car too, check for what dangers are about. Do it right before you exit. I always quickly check the map and weigh up if its worth going for it or not. I even check if players are near jet spawn locations. And you can steal other peoples CEO cars and make money from them by delivering them to an alternative location.

I also find that a lot of people these days are pretty sh*t in jets. Terrible aims, often crash etc. If you see a jet on the map before you leave the warehouse check the players rank. If its a high rank player over 200 the chances are he will get you. If they are under 200 the chances are they aren't that good in a jet.

You can also hire associates that can guard you in a jet or a chopper if you want. So you have plenty of options.

Outsmarting people is the key.

I don't think people want a challenge with the CEO cars though. It's a headache if you have to deal with extra sh*t.

It takes at least four minutes to deliver a car. That's more than enough time for someone to go off radar, get a jet and shoot you down. Sounds fun.

I'm fine with the challenge myself. If everyone just delivered the cars and left everyone alone to do it it would get stale quickly. And like i said, you have several ways of outsmarting the jets.

So I decided to buy an XB1 and a new copy of GTA V extremely late....so late that I couldn't transfer my lvl 180 character. I was almost about to chalk it down as a loss of $30 but logged in and gave it a go. Luckily for me I started at the beginning of the current X2/25-50% promo.

With a lot of grinding I have been able to jump to lvl 79, become a CEO with a medium and small special cargo warehouse close to my office and APT (downtown), a vehicle warehouse on the docks and a Buzzard. I'm sporting a Jester at the moment and am thinking about grinding some more for a Nero - with the current sale, it seems to be the best bang for my buck and it is a nice looking car.

The massive downside to starting over is the fact that a ton of people kicked me from jobs till I hit lvl 50....I ended up grinding most of the 55 and under RP solo. I have also noticed that there are far too many people using the Karuma and DoD as crutches in missions - half of them die because they are just plowing in the middle of 20 enemy NPCs all while blowing the Dukes of Hazzard horn. Crazy SOBs...lol.

Overall I have had a blast with the game and have quickly realized that it is completely different from what I was used to on the 360. It does stink to start over but at least I don't have thousands of Pegasus vehicles, pieces of clothing and masks in my inventory. Lol

An awesome day, just one of those that 'went right' from the off...

After my dailies were complete, around 6pm UK time, easy ones today too... I joined a contact mission on call and, to cut a long story short, It's near 5am, just banked near 2.4m and had a real blast chatting with these 4 guys I joined nearly 12 hours ago... Long session, but when ya get involved with good players, no-one wants to stop, you know?...

2 of the guys passed rank 100, other chaps was high ranks but we all gotta prepare for the new stuff...

I let them use all or any of my pegasus stuff too, doing things in the Valkyrie is just awesome when you have a shooter or 2 actually trying or capable, to pilot a successful Humane Labs is truly rewarding when good guys play too for this...

A really good day, no drama, no ego, no lazy f*cks or trolls, and now past rank 575...

Didn't even consider the new tiny racers pap either yet, yay, something new for 2 minutes tomorrow to 'press square after' on... JK, we'll see...

@ Coninefan... Well played, it's a nice feeling when you get ahead a bit for future content, very rewarding...

@ J-Scott-D... Likewise dude, had today and got tomorrow I can hit it hard, making the most of events like this is ideal man, even better when they come during time off and bank holidays etc...

Had this guy in his car following me around beeping that annoying loop horn over and over again. I should have shot him when I had the chance but I didn't because I'm just too darn nice to people on here. Anyways he gets out of his car and shoots me, well game on. He was a level 50 but must have been a second character or a shark card buyer because he had the limo with the gun on top, a buzzard, a tank all kinds of goodies but I still got 12 kills on him before he decided to leave. Then to top off the evening he adds me as a friend. Like I I want homicidal stalkers on my friends list, no thanks!

I recently used a Merryweather air strike for the first time... oh boy, what a deliciously OP little tool. Perfect for close quarters combat, just have to get the f*ck out of the drop zone before the jet arrives lol. 8k is kind of expensive IMO, but i certainly comes in handy when you wanna throw someone for a loop, or need to put down 10+ enemies in certain contact missions.

I'd rather have the ability to select a player to perform an airstrike on as opposed to using a flare.

For $8,000, I want results. And satisfaction. And yes, to be able to stir the pot a little.

I just had a funny little interaction with a charming person.

I saw this level 3834 with the word 'Mods' in their gamertag. They were delivering crates. So I decided to destroy their shipment because I don't like cheaters. Retributive justice, if you will.

Anyway, this person starts abusing me, saying "goodbye to your account" and "I'm going to cut your internet access".

So I tell him to stop having a cry, and proceed to spawn kill him about 20 times. He goes passive, and I laugh.

I tell him "nice K/D", sarcastically. It was only 0.71 or something. Utterly useless, he was.

I don't know why I'm such a magnet for every low level ranking player in the game. Here I am close to rank 200 (Currently 187) and some Level 15 wannabe follows me as soon as I join the lobby and attempts to shoot me down. Yes shoot me.

Not that I have a problem with it but none of this happens with the other High ranking players in the game, always the low. I showed this level 15 dude by drilling he's head in with my SMG and he still didn't get the memo to not f*ck with rank 187's.

I can't drive no where to do one small job without some Rank 10 idiot thinking he can tag along to play smart guy. Doesn't flush with me and you'll just find yourself getting shot down and embarrassed constantly. As for the level 15 dude mentioned above, a rocket to he's car finally got through to him that if you mess with High ranking players then you'll get what you deserve.

Anyway as for a story to fit this thread here it goes

I spawn in my apartment as that's where my spawn location is set too. Level 15 sees me spawn in my Apartment and starts heading towards my area. I grab my Dukes 'O' Death and head outside and down the movie studio lot to see if he was really following me.

Yes he was really following me. I race down to Vespucci Beach Pier and shoot him down with my Combat PDW as he speeds past in the street vehicle he stole. Wait a few seconds and re-spawns near the Entry to the rides on Vespucci beach (Which is in front of the carpark on the pier) He's behind this wooden panel fence with glass panel. I sneak on the other side only to see him aiming for the cops that are now coming to the pier. I take another shot out out of him and this time run for it down to the beach Gym (Where all the Gym equipment in GTAV Trailer 1 is) Get down there and again he's coming back for me.

I decide my best course of action was to rocket he's car so I did. I see him coming and count down in my head to when to press the FIRE button to launch my rocket. Countdown reaches 0 and I hit the fire button and a rocket goes for he's car. It hits it and he's wrecked car comes to me with he's burnt out body in it that later disappears as he re spawns. I call it a day for that lobby and leave.

Nothing like teaching a level 15 who decides he can screw with you who's really boss and who to not f*ck with.

That's great and all, but level 187 isn't really that high. Certainly not high enough to come out with proclamations indicating you're part of some sort of gaming high society, untouchable by the peasants below you.

I'm a level 347, and that isn't even all that high. Until you get above level 600 with a K/D ratio of 3, I'd hold off on the delusions of grandeur.

Are you my long lost twin??? I am a magnet for people in this game and I have no idea why. I will be doing a supply mission out in Blaine county and I will see a white dot literally drive from the city just to come bother me, usually 50 and under but I have had higher levels bother me too but not as much. Just the other day I had a level 50 harassing me, trying to kill me and at that time I was a 175 not really that high and I'm sure I could have been a 800 and this idiot would still bother me, I killed him 12 times before he finally left. I even went into passive mode because I didn't want to fight him anymore and I went to take a jet ski to my yacht and he blew it up so I tricked him and swam to the nearest jump launch they have in the water, went out of passive while he still swimming after me, took my mini gun out and killed him and he finally left after that.

I don't think I'm the greatest because I may be a level 186 now but I still only been playing since February and a lower level could be a second character with much more expiernce than me, plus there are much higher people than me I do not even consider my level that high to be honest but still I have advantages like some better weapons and full max health as do you so why are e we being bothered? That's just life in Los Santos lol. I do not have a super high KD but that's because I do not kill people unless they bother me first. What is your KD? Is it normal? Back when I was like a rank 70 or so I would have 10's trying to kill me, after killing them once I would text them to leave me alone that I didn't like killing lower level than me now im not usually not as courteous with levels 40 and up as I said they could have much more expiernce than me.

Also remember, you may see a level 55 bothering you but again it can be a second character so don't dismiss them. Also some people are just good at these types of games no matter the level, I been playing action type games my entire life, well okay since 10. When I was a lower level under 100 I would have higher levs bother me because they thought I was easy pray I guess and yes I would kill them, not all but a good amount.

At end of day I just think some people like trying to kill people and it doesn't matter what level they are. I guess all we can be is prepared!

I set my spawn point out in Paleto Bay and haven't looked back. Atleast I don't have to worry about som a$$hat trying to murder me as soon as I step out of my house up there. Maybe set your spawn up there if you want a more peaceful exit? I mean I don't know about you but I like to collect my thoughts before having to go out and kill people and Paleto is the perfect place for that.

I let a ranked 800+ random tag along through about 6 missons and he was AFK through 5 of them.. lol.. I don't actually care that he was AFK since I usually solo everything. On a side note I should hit rank 500 before work this afternoon. I love this 2x cash and rp.

I was online yesterday, and I had the weirdest experience. Annoying, actually.

So I "made friends" with this girl. With little to no self-control, she openly said she thought I was sexy (and by me, she meant my character). Which I thought was a little peculiar, but to each their own.

She then asked me about my life (job, age, city). For a second I thought she was going to ask me for my banking details. She ended up saying I "sound sexy". Fair enough. After about an hour of missions and banal, but harmless chit-chat, she asked if we could meet in real life. I said that wouldn't be appropriate seeing as I have a girlfriend. She then said "what she doesn't know won't hurt her".

Never mind the fact that you're willing to take a two hour plane ride to see a guy you've never met, you're actually willing to do it for someone who is for all intents and purposes, betrothed.

This is 2017, people. Where common decency is a thing of the past, and where human relationships are forged not face to face, but through the use of electronic communications. I shouldn't be surprised. I mean, we all rely on the internet in some form or another. But this experience was a little too weird for my liking.

Society, it seems, is on a downward trajectory. I'm not a misanthropic cynic by any stretch of the imagination, but is it really that hard to go the f*ck outside, speak to people in person, and have the common decency and social skills to know what is and isn't acceptable? Do we really need to spell it out for these people? Absolutely ridiculous.

Some talk about being a magnet for low-level players with something to prove.

I'm just a magnet for flat-out weird stuff. Both IRL and in-game. I attract weirdos. (birds of a feather I suppose)

A few weeks back I was in a public session (rare for me these days because I grow tired of being sniped constantly by twits with nothing better to do) and this dude just starts walking behind me and air-thrusting. I saw him walking behind me after a moment, air-thrusting the whole time. I stopped, looked at him, he stopped. I kept walking, and he continued to follow me and air-thrust. I have no idea why he was doing this. I tried asking him but either he didn't have a mic or wasn't in a mood for talking, because I didn't get a response. Whenever I stopped walking, he'd stop thrusting. Then start right back up again once I started moving.

He eventually grew tired of air-thrusting behind me, stole a van and drove away without a word. One of the strangest things that's ever happened to me in this game.

Was doing some CEO work last night. Hired a few people. One guy kept ramming my car (big no-no) and the other crashed the plane carrying half my cargo. Sign them up for termination. Me and the remaining guy hopped in the armored boxville and started hunting them down. I was amazed at how long it took someone to think of using an RPG on it haha

Fact: if you and your CEO group of four can only fight from within a wall breach you suck and should go back to playing Sonic The Hedgehog on Sega. The crew I am in still wrecked them because everytime they were out of the wall breaches they were slaughtered. The battle ended when they retreated to Eclipse towers and wouldn't come out.

I remember a CEO hiding in a wallbreach near the mask shop at the beach during Executive Search.

I don't like resorting to RPG spamming, but it feels good giving people an ass whoop despite them cheating.

Once the job was over and they were left out in the open, we kicked their asses some more. :)

So yesterday I race "Lift Off" and was a good few seconds in front on the very last loop. What happened next? That's right I came over the top of the loop and hit the guy in second place on his car roof as he entered the loop, knocked us both down to the lower level where the checkpoint is. He was facing the right way, and I wasn't...

First for him, second for me.

He was really pleased because he sent me the video clip sometime later entitled "Stole that race!"

I had to begrudgingly smile and congratulate his exceptional luck lol

Lonely-Martin

Well, after a real good week on contact missions where many low levels managed to do quite well not dying around me all the time and some good co-op, as I couldn't be bothered with contracts last night, I thought I'd hop into a few heists...

A good start, got to be pilot on H. Labs (on normal, Grrr), but a fair 20%, all good, passed 1st time...

Felt positive after that, spammed another job...

Fleeca - Scope Out... No...

Fleeca - Scope Out... Nope!

Fleeca - Scope Out... Oh, piss off...

Ahh, Fleeca finale... My time to shine, lol...

Bollocks to this, it's on easy AND offered 30%...

And that's the end of that chapter... Still, 1 in 5, probably pretty good by todays standards...

It figures, whenever I get someone in session with a mic, at least half the time it's some 12 year old brat.

I was waiting around for a friend to show up and this dude walks up to me and just sorta stands there for a minute. "Hey you! jrwa..uh...I can't say your name [ I get that a lot.] Lemme see your titties!"

Thus, the big disadvantage of running a female character. When I created my character in GTA: Online I flipped a quarter. Heads for male, tails for female. It landed tails and that was that. In games like this where the gender selection doesn't have any real impact on gameplay I do this because at that point it's nothing more than cosmetics. Well apparently this kid thinks I'm really a girl. Either that or he's just your garden variety 12 year old pervert. I gave him the "No" gesture. He starts whining. "Aw come on please?" "Go to the strip club like all the other 12 year olds that play this game." "WTF you're a dude you're a fa**** mother fu**** n***** (and a few more things I'd rather not repeat) and that was about the point I shot him. Cue tween rage. He put a bounty on me (that my friend claimed because he's a jerk) He made the mistake of blowing up my FMJ (I don't remember how much it cost him, but he stopped using explosives after that). I grabbed my Buzzard and began hunting him down, but he ragequit before I could get back to him. And then some other asshole blew me out of the sky with a homing launcher.

The other disadvantage of having a female character is CONSTANTLY getting asked by 12 yr olds not mature enough to play the game is if I'm a female. Yes, which is why I don't even put my mic on unless I'm playing with people I know, which is also because people with mics are so annoying and screaming at each other. Who cares if it's a female character though ffs there IS a strip club.

I met this random on a desert highway while I was driving my ruiner and he wanted in on the action so I let him drive it and some of my other peg vehicles. So we go down to the airport to get a plane and a CEO group is down there but all way at other end. Then I see a chopper flying right for us locking on so I brought my chopper down blowing it up. My new friend spawns down by them( I somehow survived) and they all start killing him he is a lev 30 they are 100 and up. I text a message saying I wasn't trying to start any problems just wanted my plane so I get snipped in return.

Game on. I leave the airport they follow me to front gate area. One comes running at me and I combat mg him in the head. I see two other associates in the duke o death plowing at me weil I take out the two yellow dots with my trusty assault shot gun. Here is a notice to pre puberty try hards out there the DOD is not a Kuruma, stop acting like it is one. Then I decide I'm not in the mood to kill people tonight, so I left and put on a show about buying RV's and ate ice cream, don't judge me.
