Griefers were even kind of nice. Got blown up twice AFTER completing my last sales drop.

First time I had just requested my Shotaro and was sitting on it going through a menu like a big dummy and got blown up by a helicopter (not a buzzard though, I didn't know there was another helicopter that one can fly solo and blow things up with). Like a big dummy I immediately requested my Sanctus and sent a message "haha now come blow up my other 2 mil bike". He replied with "pocket change :)" and returned and blew me up.

I did get to shoot him down with a HL, but he did pwn the sh*t out of me on the ground like 8 times before getting bored and giving me enough space to change lobbies lol.

Second time was I just about to drop the last drop from a Buzzard in PB when I heard the beep beep beep and and got my drop off in time, just barely, then blew up. Then the player started a King of the Castle, where I died spectacularly 4 or 5 times.

They got a nice kd boost and I made all my money. Even had fun (need to practice that combat roll though. "Something Gamer" (first guy) was destroying me with that every time I had him in my scope)). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This story won't be particularly eventful, as it was just an enjoyable session I was in.

TL;DR- Peaceful Hydra pilot

I actually often fly my hydra near players to check what they're doing. A lot of the times they don't even try to shoot me down. Flying is fun.

not for me, pretty much everytime i fly my hydra near any players i hear the beep beep beep lock on warning, i try to lose the homing rockets to no avail it ends in my destruction.

Had a bit of fun griefing a jet griefer who was trying to terrorise the city earlier. As per usual he crashed or got shot down and had to respawn another jet only I was at that little airfield where they usually spawn. Hovering in a general chopper there in passive mode over the site and as soon as his Hydra appeared I 'landed' my helicopter on top of it as full speed & blew it up...... twice.

Mr griefy was getting pretty irate trying to explode grenades/rockets next to the generally spawned chopper as I got in another one, then tried taking one up himself before jumping out and trying to ram me with it as it went out of control. Eventually he drove off only to come back after a couple of minutes & seeing I was still there hovering he had a little strop & blew up everything else on the helipads before driving off again .... and returning once more. :D In the end he joined an MC crew and I assume did something constructive.

Must do this again sometime. ;)

Ninja Commando

During a stunt race yesterday some dude in a Cliffhanger almost beat my Bati. I didn't know that bike could be so fast. xD

On the other hand the guy racing against me had 1k race wins and very few losses. That's a little suspicious.

So just about 3-4 hours ago, I got myself ranked as Bad Sport.

I kept playing in the same public session where I got it from and started inviting friends to the lobby (20-50 invites)

I finally got around 15 friends in the same session and everyone commended me till they saw I was "dodgy player", but I could still see myself in the "bad sport" status.

They kept commending me whenever it was available again and finally they saw me as a clean player again.

I tried changing outfits and the dunce cap disappeared!

So this definitely is a confimed working method to avoid bad sport lobby..

If you get bad sport status, just stay in the same public session you got it from and try get people to commend you (a lot).

Did the first heist with a random on hard with my second character. We were both ranked between 30-40. Start to finish no deaths nothing. All setups everything first try. I gave them 70% and said thanks for playing.

@Oakeni But.. but bad sport is fun sometimes! :)

But anyway.. I was in a lobby and out of 17 people, I only saw 4 on the radar. They were bright red passive mode dots in jets. The rest were in a ghosted organization, and in jets!

Underage_Assasin

I don't keep track of time, but if I did, I wouldn't be surprised to tell you I spend 70% of the time in GTA airborne.

Anyways, had a few "cool stories" today.

I was flying in my Duster and came in to practice landing into Sandy Shores, where I noticed two players at the Eastern end of the runway. I reach a halt, and one of the players approaches me, who decides to toss a sticky at me, decimating my aircraft.

Not liking when people destroy me like that (I do get pretty upset in the right context (and there's plenty of those), plus revenge is fun and legal!), especially when I had a white flag up (not that I could attack anyways), I quickly called my Hydra, took off, and began to school him on why not to mess with The Red Badger (me). Thankfully he didn't even have a rocket launcher since he was a low level, although I do have to say I get pretty annoyed when people at such a low level have one considering it's an expensive weapon, and how they went through the trouble of purchasing this... dastardly piece of equipment as opposed to purchasing a new car or upgrading their vehicle.

Anyways, I would spray him with my guns, killing him instantly, afterwards I would circle around waiting a few seconds for him to spawn, then swooping down again to obliterate him not even 10 seconds after spawning, and I did this for probably about 30 times, watching him trying to escape. He even went into the liquor store close to Sandy Shores, thinking he would be safe in there, but I decided to hover in the Hydra until my guns were aligned with the store entrance, and blasted him from the outside. Boy I'm sure he wasn't expecting that!

I gave him some space for a while, although I didn't like him close to my car at Sandy Shores, so I tried to spray him away, though he was behind some trees and rocks so I wasn't able to get him very easily. He eventually texted me something along the lines of "you 'wussey'" (censored!), telling me to get down, but of course, I know I'm actually pretty weak on the ground, though I still could have beaten a level 22 (I'm lvl 160), but I never obey them and continue to have my fun.

I gave up on him and flew away, unable to reach him. About 20 seconds later, I noticed he started a gang attack at Sandy Shores, and even climbed on a helicopter. Knowing I hadn't schooled him enough, plus he called me names, I returned to the airfield and let him know I've revoked his flying privileges....

That was the last bit of interaction I had with him before he left. The end  .

Moral of the story; if you mess with the bull, you get the horns. I hope I don't come off as a very offensive player though, destroying everything in sight (not that it's necessarily a bad thing :p ); I rarely decide to strike at people first (excluding when bounties are present) and only attack people who have proven to be psychos (I'm not labeling them as "bad players", but just... people who like shootin' at each other like in CoD). I usually just taunt people on the ground and fly low trying to intimidate, or helping people escape the cops by taking down choppers and road blocks (though I occasionally accidentally kill the player  ).

I just wish I was good enough at flying to get a dunce hat. :(

It just takes time lol. The Lazer is what you want (Hydra if you're skilled). Then place your view to the one with the farthest point like this. It's even easier to avoid homing launcher rockets, and if they take out the heavy sniper there's a trick for that as well.:)

But beware.. you may get messages from nice fellows like him.

I've been playing with my controllers plugged in at all times. It sucks, the cord is so short and it has made it so I don't even want to play alot of the time.

Today I got a new controller and I'm excited to break it in. I'm also going to look back and see if I'm still Covered under a warranty and maybe I'll be able to get a replacement for one of the ones that stopped holding a charge.

Edit: I was just going to buy a longer cable but the controllers were on sale and only cost me about 60$. Not bad.

Well we see whinges about the unreliability of having randoms as helpers - that works both ways. Every now and again I like to work as an associate rather than do my own CEO work & yesterday worked for a couple of CEO's that made me roll my eyes.

First off a level 206:

Mission 1, collect in Chumach but had to shoot down a Valkrye, which he did, & then promptly slammed his buzzard into a hillside destroying it trying to shoot the thieves. Killed the thieves and got the crates and as there was no-one else about, we were at the top of of a hill & plenty of time I thought we'd just stand about waiting to spawn another buzzard. No, we have to run to a road where he can spawn his Tyrus and drive to the warehouse (hitting almost every car and lampost on the way).

MIssion 2, do the assasinations before getting the vehicle location. He lands on the top of a car park in the next street so we have to jump down to street level (ouch) then go to the vantage point and snipe 2 hobos. Then run up allthe ramps in the car park back to the buzzard. I asked him why he didn't just use the Buzzard's missiles to kill them instead of climbing around to snipe them & he said he thought I was going to do that (?).

Mission 3, The Lost have nicked the van so have to go to their compound by the Casino and get it. Now when I get this I just hover at the end of the road sending missiles in from a safe distance until they're all dead then get the van. No, matey starts off well missiling the vehicles at the gates but then lands the Buzzard just outside the gates and runs off! While I am in a frantic firefight, he arrives back having spawned his armoured Karuma around a corner and drives into and around the compound SMGing everyone from the window. I have had enough so jump out and grab the van & while he is sitting there honking his horn like a good un drive off leaving him to do what he wants. Get to the warehouse and leave his 'employment'.

Second go, helping a level 169.

Mission collect xxxx from up by the observatory, I take off by road thinking to wait for him up there at a safe distance so as not to trigger helicopters etc. Wait around, no sign so drive up and 3rd party nicks the van. Do a road block and grab van, still no sign of CEO. Get about half way through town before getting stickied and blown up (wasn't too bothered by then as I saw the CEO had started popping up on my kill feed). Look on map and CEO is still outside his office with another associate having a fight with one other person. Text him a "thanks for the help" and leave his employ.

....then slpit the session and do some of my own cratework on my own. :)

Yesterday I wandered arround, in passive mode and off-radar, on the factory near Sandy Chores, wearing a tall hat like Abe Lincoln's and a suit. Another player began following me, I think he thought I was a ghost.

Yesterday I did a MC delivery on a full server, got post up van. Near delivery point 3 a white cars drives up to me. I was thinking: Oh, off course.

But the other guy did not get out, he did not throw sticky bombs or shoots, he gets behinds me and pushes the damn slow f*cking van so I can make my delivery faster <3

Hell, there are nice gamers out there :)

Joined a contact mission. A rank 16, +40, +600 and me a rank +40. It's artificial scarcity, we spawn and as I jump in my vehicle the +600 immediately fires a rocket trying to blow me up. Apparently I was the only one that had a PV so I was able to run down the rank +600 and he left before he spawned, good. Pretty sure he got a bad sport point and he deserved it for that.

So now it's the three of us, I pick one up drive him to my savage and as he got in I jumped back in my vehicle and headed to the objectives. Take out a few trucks and a bunch of enemies. When I look on the map the player I gave my savage goes to pick up the 16. Hilarious, these guys come in hot take out 1-2 trucks and crash killing them both. I finish up with a kill count around 15 the Rank16 had 0 and the other guy had 2-3. Fun.. shortly after..

I join a job with 3 +500 and me mid 40's. They were driving a white Kuruma and a lowrider I was driving my hot pink Entity XF. We played about 3-4 missions and each time I came out way on top. It's not that these guys were letting me, I was just in the zone. Each time I had anywhere from 15-30 kills when they might of only had a few each.

I went to freeroam for a bit and saw a jet. I went off radar and grabbed my savage fired a bunch of missles, he panicked and crashed. I left the area, he didn't even know it was me... later that session he picked me up without killing me. Drove us to his garage and didn't even let me in. I had a chance to kill him but I didn't feel like it. Left shortly after and shut the game down. It was a pretty good game session.

TLDR: contact missions with randoms and an uneventful freeroam encounter.

The other week as my female character just peacefully going to my car when this guy passes me but turns around

TiStbFt.gif

dude walks up to me doing the fap taunt again, blew a kiss, air hump taunt, and flipped me off cause I wasn't moving (too busy laughing at this dude). I did the nose pick taunt and walked away. Of course he got in his car following me honking his horn and tries to shoot at me before I hopped in my car driving off. He followed but gave up. Feel bad for the irl females that deal with this lol whenever playing.

^I deal with that as my male character too.

Edit: just saying, when I ran contact missions for hours daily with randoms, or when I spent hours in public freeroam daily and actually let players get close, that experience above was pretty standard run of the mill behavior, I'd run into it all the time as my male main character. Not saying it's right, just saying it happens to everyone.

Yeah it happened to me as my male character in a few Adversary modes in the past when some douche switches teams making it over the team limit and won't switch back. He'll rather taunt and get his laughs in.

It's always for the lulz. Some people play with no intentions of playing. It's the worst for me during contact missions where they jump on a ledge or something and just taught with no intentions of helping. It happens.

I got my first bad sport point! Yay!

Just me and another player, he was doing crates in LS, I was doing MC sells in BC. I finished my runs and started a Headhunter in my Hydra (because I need the practice) and for some reason he came up and camped by my last target.

Then the dumbass voted to kick me when I blew his ass up. o_O

Came to NG the beginning of October with 33 million. Dropped to just under 12 million after my shopping spree to literally have everything I wanted, and am now back up to 20 million and counting for the next new stuff. The money comes pretty easy on NG. 😅

Found out you can't keep your xb1 on forever with your char watching tv. After about a week of it the game got so glitchy it was unplayable. The final straw was when my char couldn't leave his clubhouse. I couldn't sit on a motorcycle, the doors to go outside didn't work (both the front door and the garage door) and the button to select options to spawn in different locations didn't work. I could use the pause button and find a new session but that didn't help.

I even tried my second char and she was stuck in her beach apartment the same way.

Had to turn off my console and unplug it, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then restart. now it works fine. Of course, no more duping Chimeras lol. And for some reason the unlimited supplies on my coke business went away too. Drag.

In related news, I am ready for the new DLC. :D
