Got my K/D Ratio up to 2.16 was 2.15 got Into a huge death match with like 15 other players everyone killing everyone, but I sniped almost the whole time.

To be clear before I start, K/D ratio means nothing to me. Anyway, I was playing Rockets Vs Insurgents and two guys were moaning about my K/D ratio, saying that I was probably some K/D Ratio addicted kid and only care about that. I mean f*ck me, its only 3.64 and thats by playing the game, enjoying myself, not going on killing sprees. How can I be a kid if my name specifically says my date of birth (REXX1993)? I rarely use my mic as I have my PS4 in my living room, but this was kind of annoying. I switched on my mic for the first time in months and told them that I wasn't a kid, told them to actually look at my gamertag. One of them was like "oh, yeah..." One of them apologised however the other one was still moaning about it. I paused and looked at the players in the current session. His K/D was on 3.00, yet he is complaining about mine being 0.64 higher.

 

I can't believe how people judge others just because of a few numbers.

 

Oh, and for the record, that second guy apologised about 20 minutes later.

Took my bmx out again last night, and rode to the half-pipe. A guy pulled up, and got out. Surprisingly, he pulled some npc off it's bike and then joined me on the half-pipe. Another person showed up, and started shooting at me. We both lit the guy up and he let us be after that. Then the guy who joined me sent a text, wanting me to kill him. Found it odd but pulled out a pistol and killed him. +7k cash. So I realised why that other guy came up, due to the former having a bounty. Guess he wanted me to have the cash.

 

Then on two separate sessions I deliberately got a bounty for some submersible fun. The first time I only had one pursuer. The second time I was worth more money, and gained considerable attention. I kept having a boat up on the surface shadow my every move. Then the boat went to shore to pick up 2 more players. I was near Del Perro at the time, and then noticed a tank had drove down the length of the pier and was waiting at it's edge, looking out over the water. To top it all off a fighter plane showed up. After it circled me a few times during some failed strafing runs, it turned it's attention to others above. Things on the surface got interesting as those who showed up began to clash. A short time later I pocketed the bounty and sailed off, with ppl still duking it out.

I enjoy driving my AK around, just listening to it shift, the distinct sound of the BOV, and even that sweet little cackle in the exhaust note...

 

One of the few engine n exhaust sounds that they really got right.

Cargobobing my T20 around LSIA.... another Cargobonb with two players inside with a T20 underneath. I see we're above water so I snicker and touch my Cargobob's bottom on their rear rotor. It breaks and down they go..... toward land. BOOM! I get awarded the kills but boy was the owner pissed. He had to pay for it. He fired at me forgetting I had a T20 with me and paid for that too.

 

Later, same session I see a guy with a Ballas gang car. I kill him, swipe it, go off radar and sell it at LSIA. I come out in Passive and he was there. I did Jazz Hands and he tried shooting me. I ran and he chased me from there all the way to Grove Street. It was fun..... until a modder came and turned our heads into eggs, that is when I left.

I just spawned into a singleplayer multiplayer session; my personal vehicle disappeared, the map only shows a very small area, Lester and the Mechanic don't anwer their phones, there are animals everywhere, and my female character makes noises like an incredibly unfit male whilst running. Still have all my guns though!

 

Edit: ...and the cops can't see me!

The other day, my two friends and I did a heist setup with a random. After the setup was over, we all spawn into a invite only session. The random decided to blow me up, while I was sitting in my pink panto(yes... I have a pink panto), and he also blew up one of my friends. This guy was about level 70ish or so. After I respawned, I called for my T20 for in case he decides to blow up my car again and to also chase him around the city, which we ended up doing. Anyways, we ended up killing him repeatedly until he left. A level 70 against 3 high levels, who happen to be well versed in the game and are also great friends, while in a invite only session alone with them. I bet he regretted his decision.

That was fun while it lasted. I shot chickens, kicked dogs, drove a Logger Light Benson, Lifeguard Granger, and Taxi, and visited all the "real" garages under High End apartments, before heading to the airport and stealing a Ripley, Airtug, and finally a 747, which I flew all over the island until I crashed into a tree trying to see if the Mount Chiliad cable car was working - it wasn't for some reason. It then got stuck in an endless loading circle, so I had to restart.

 

It was so strange being able to shoot as many people as I wanted, only for the police to go charging straight past me no matter how many stars I got. Pause menu paused, and all the options were those of single player (including the special ability bar), but I had my character and all her weapons...just not the vehicles, money, or apartments, and none of the phone contacts worked.

Tried to host the Prison break heist three times - doesn't work. Joined anither guys heist - timed out. Joined another one Orison break finale - during the cutscene the menu where you can buy ammo was still there and finally we got disconnected. Then my character was invisible. Third heist joined... disconnected and my apartment wasn't there; I was inside the building but fell all the way down and died... 2xmoney heist... my ass -.-

I had some interesting interactions with players today whilst doing the Prison Break heist. I had forgotten how greedy and special some players are out there. If you haven't done a setup you only get 15% with me. I had a whole lobby full of players that hadn't done any of them with me, so I left it on default and changed the roles around to suit their levels abilities. One asked for a specific role and another asked for another 5%. I asked if he had done any set-ups, to which he just left.

 

I restart the finale lobby and the two previous players rejoin and ready up, whilst the new player shouts over the mic he wants 20%. He was only 10 and had a thick Black Country accent. I asked him if he had done any set-ups, and he says it doesn't matter; he is a level 216 and should be paid more than us other low levels. Charming! What a credit he is to his parents. He must have got bored, as he soon readied up and off we went. He was moaning the whole time. Your real typical special snowflake this new generation seem to excel at. He was the pilot and said he was going to blow up the plane. I said he was welcome to do so. It's his time he is wasting. BOOM! Okay. Let's restart. We respawn in and the kid is constantly moaning and declaing to us how we are being trolled. I tried to set him straight that you can only troll when people react, and that works best if you don't shout out your intentions whilst trying to "troll"

 

Anyway, long story short, I commit suicide and quit as I noticed that 3 friends were on who are more than capable. I

do the heist with them and all goes well. They get $150k for 10 minutes work. Happy days.

 

This double money thing is great. Shame those two little snowflakes couldn't appreciate having $150k tucked into their top pocket for 10 minutes work.

I had the same dilemma. Two low levels both asked me for 20%. I responded to both telling them "you didn't help with the setups". They actually both readied up as soon as they read my message.

Well, I was wrong about them being content with 15%. Halfway to the prison bus (I was the officer) the heist fails, saying "Demolition failed". I assume he blew up the bus, I don't know what he did as I shut off my xbone right after. I get back on to try and finish the heist again, I get a message from the low level demolition.

It says:

"Should've given me 20"

I managed to shoot him but the bus was coasting too fast, sped up an embankment on the side of the road and tipped on it's side right in front of me, "demolition failed".

 

Your crew member was obviously being a douche but it is possible to fail in the first minutes of the finale as the demo. I felt like such an ass but there was nothing I could do.

Just now I learned that there's few things as cool as racing the plane back to the airport during the Prison Heist Plane setup.

 

I also learned that it's even cooler if you come first by less than a second - that's something I can only thank the Massacro for!

Just got round to finishing heists. Done them in order and with the same people. Didn't get loyalty or in order bonus even though one of the other players got both and the host/setup guy got loyalty.

 

I know this thread is to talk about your stories etc but I don't want to talk about it. The tears are real.

Following on from this. Raised a support ticket with Rockstar, gave them every piece of info they asked for over the course of 3 emails only to be told they can't verify at sorry for inconvenience. No explanation why it went wrong, no explanation whether it was their fault or mine, no explanation for whether the info I gave was enough. Just a sorry.

 

Don't know if I can be bothered to replay them all, sick of the bloody game right now. I'm too old to be spitting the dummy out over virtual money.

I went after a guy with a $7k bounty, hes good and he gets away. He then gets in an armoured karuma with two friends and tries to hunt me down, he even puts a $9k bounty on me. It lead to a great 48 min chase a few times around the map, and then numerous choppers and jets trying to find me in a stunt plane!

Survived and collected the bounty myself, I felt pleased given the guy was so sure his friends would be able to kill me!

Today I purchased my first Declasse Rancher XL and cruised around in it for literally hours, occasionally doing Gang Attacks as they appeared. I actually enjoy driving this car! Also, allows my T20 to have a rest for a few days

Alright, so my friends invited me to the Insurgent setup mission. We head to the site, and quickly kill all of the Merryweather soldiers there. We hop into the Insurgents, and I get up to be a gunner. As soon as we leave the site, we all fail the mission due to connections issues. Second time around, we do the same thing, and are literally seconds away from completing the mission when we accidentally run our teammate over, killing him. At this point we're all getting pissed since this is an easy mission and we should have been finished by now. One of our friends leave so we pick up a random, he's a very low level and decides to drive one of the Insurgents. He continuously crashes and ends up getting killed by the Buzzard. Fourth time around I hop into the gunner seat and we tail the random, but I'm not able to get a single shot on the enemies so we're getting chased by at least 8+ Mesas. My friend ends up hitting a huge ramp and I fly out of the gunner seat, he stops and all the Merryweather soldiers get out of their cars and we're certain we're dead. My friend starts yelling at me. "Get back in the f*cking car, we're surrounded!" I pull out my advanced rifle, picking off as many soldiers as I can, and some how, by some stroke of luck, we ended up escaping 10+ soldiers and passing the mission. God, that was a pretty awesome experience.

Okay, one time not too long after GTAO launched, definitely before Heists when other people had character appearance changes, me and my friend were just driving around not really doing much, then some guy decided to choose us as a target for a jet attack. He was just flying by blowing the highway to smithereens back and forth and there was no homing launcher and we were too low level for RPG's. So we just put our controllers down and went to get some food. When we came back the guy in the jet was gone and we went to meet up with eachother because respawns had moved us apart, when we got together something magical had happened to me. I had turned from and ugly scarred Xbox360 character into a beautiful god-character. We decided to do a photoshoot and edit some of the pictures together on Paint.net. These are what we ended up with.

Just bare with me... things are about to get strange.

And then just as suddenly as he came, a strange woman approached us on our private beach and shanked me to death (presumably because of jealousy) and I was back to my old, dirty, 2D face. Thus ends our tale of random face changes due to blunt force trauma and facial 3rd degree burns. Goodbye handsome Squidward, you live on in our dreams...
