Just a moment ago, before logging off, I decided to get a new haircut/beard for my character. After checking the map, I see that there's nobody around Mirror Park's barber shop. After going in my Massacro, I drive out of my garage in Del Perro. As soon as I'm out, I see a pink dot approaching fast. I head to Mirror Park anyway. I see him following me, but losing terrain as we progress. No, that will not do, he'll surely kill me before I can get my hair done.

 

I then take the highway, heading to Paleto Bay (most quiet place in San Andreas). Surely this guy will not follow me on such a huge distance. But no, he still follows me as I approach Blaine County. Okay, you want some, you'll get some, I think. I stop, pull out of my car, take my special carbine and wait behind the highay barrier so he can't simply run me over. I kill him as he approaches and goes back to my business, still heading to Paleto Bay. He respawns in passive mode, so I'm fairly confident he has given up.

 

I finally arrive near Paleto Bay, and checks my map to make sure I'll not be disturbed. And here he is, the same guy, still following me and zooming in on my position. I go into the streets of Paleto Bay, I know I can easily take care of him there, since I know these streets and alleys like the back of my hand (another perk of having a house in this quiet town). As soon as he approaches near enough, I kill him once more and head to the city on the western highway. This time, surely he will stop bothering me.

 

But no, this dude still follows me in his lime green Entity. We approach Fort Zancudo, where a couple of players are fighting. Maybe that'll distract him and he'll join these two idiots?

 

No, he prefers losing more and more terrain with his crappy supercar over my gorgeous wonder of English engineering. Anyway, I pull out in Chumash, ready to take him out once again, but finally he gives up and starts hunting a nearby bounty. Finally, I can get my hair done.

 

TL;DR: I drove all around the map to get a bloody haircut.

Last night while in a lobby a $9000 bounty popped up. The bounty was not far from me, in front of the Vinewood Mall. As I was passing checking the scene out the bounty fired a rpg at me, missing me. I swung around to the LSC and stopped in the alley. At that time I noticed the bounty heading up to the top of the mall. I stand in the alley with my sniper rifle and aim. I got one shot and he killed me with a rpg.

 

I respawned right under him next to the mall. I ran across to get to the alley above LSC thinking the whole time he was going to kill me with a rpg, he did not. This time I got on the roof of the business and I aimed. He fired a rpg, at my car. As my car blew up, I shot him in the head collecting the $9000 bounty.

 

I guess that pissed him off because he respawned and came after me trying to kill me with bombs. Thankfully I had deposited the bounty in my account before I got off the roof because he finally did kill me again with a rpg. I respawned in passive mode, walked right up to him, and did the jerking motion. That pissed him off more because he kept trying to kill me. I then called MMI and requested my vehicle and took off.

Seems like the major part of players have reached to the Pacific Standard Bankjob now since I have been getting a lot of invites to it lately.

 

Today I got an invite and I though to do one last job before I log off. I ended up in a lobby with three italians that didnt understand English. It didnt matter that I asked in a politely and slowly that settings should be set to player saved outfits and that I had an apartment close to the bank that we could enter and grab my Kuruma for the getaway. The only replies I got was "no english!!!".

 

They were all high level players, the highest at level 398 and the lowest at 211. I'm myself is at level 193 and the difficulty was set to normal and leader choice of outfits. I thought it would be a walk in the park since these guys all had mics and they seemed to know each other well. I was put on crowd control and was set on doing my job as neatly as possible.

 

Well.

 

We enter the bank and at least one of the starts to kill all the customers, alarm goes off, SWAT shows up. They start grabbing the money and we all gather at the entrance.

 

All rushes out with RPGs, one dies immediately, probably from a misguided RPG. We manage to get to the alleyway and there someone else dies.

 

Retry.

 

Same sh*t happens again.

 

Retry.

 

Now we manage to get to motorcycles. They take off, I walk to my apartment and grab my Kuruma. They die again, dropping a big chunk of the loot everytime.

 

Money is now down to about 400 000 and we retry again. I drive safely to the boat, this time in my Insurgent, passing by one of my team mates in the process and I hear him say in an amazed voice something about me driving an Insurgent. Meanwhile I see the money dropping like crazy. We finally manage get together at the dinghy boat and we take off into the sunset. The money was down to about 300 000 and I received my 15% equaling roughly around 45 000 for more than half an hours work and spending all my RPGs and body armour and snacks.

 

Needless to say I immediately killed all of them when we respawned outside Lesters warehouse...

I need to learn to pick better battles.

 

Got gunned down by two assholes in a Insurgent PV. A quick check reveals a 156 and a 167 inside. What's more, they're in the same crew. A smart person would have cut his losses, but apparently, I'm not a smart person, and f*ck trolls. I went after them. The gunner must have been a goddamned android in real life, because I don't think I've been head-shotted during a drive-by. Multiple times. They stomped my teeth in. But, f*ck trolls. They made the mistake of coming for me head on... and I shot them both our of that OP troll mobile. At this point, I wish I could tell you that that the tide of battle change and they were subjected to my god-like badassery, but that is not the case. They were less of a threat in the Insurgent than they were out of it. These two were professional griefers. The handful of kills I managed to eke out against these two was laughable. One of them would have beaten me handily, but fighting one while the other sniped me from God knows where? Yeah, I got a few good kills in, but it's safe to say that I got my ass handed to me...

 

Still. It was a good experience. That kind of sh*t sharpens your instincts and improves your responses. Eventually, I'll be able to hold my own against two skilled, high-level crew-mates at once.

I turn hard and we end up running into each other

I shoot down his chopper from 3 blocks away

he ends up getting another jet

after I typed the first part I got my Hydra and called a mugger on him

I gunned him down

He went passive

the mugger still got him and made him unpassive

I killed him again for inconveniencing me

I got $1.2 million in the Pacific Standard finale for the first time. It was in a session with randoms.

 

The randoms ranks were 43, 49, and 57. It turned out that the hacker and demolitions knew each other in real life. We got the money and managed to make it to the bikes. Once we got on the bikes, we got off them immediately, and made our way to the apartment near the bikes. Luckily, we were able to get in quickly. The owner had us jump in his bright red armored Kuruma.

 

We pretty much followed Lester's route, but before we got to the bridge before that 180 degree turn, we drove down a road leading to the Dinghy. This was the hardest part of the drive because the road was narrow and it was difficult to avoid cops. However, the Kuruma seemed to bull through the police SUVs no problem.

 

Once we got to the Dinghy, we tried to kill off the cops so that the money carrier wouldn't get hit, but the cops kept spawning infinitely, so eventually we were like "f*ck it" and just made a beeline for the Dinghy. Amazingly, the money carrier didn't get hit here.

 

Our final take was around $1,206,000. The other randoms sent the money carrier out too early at the beginning.

 

Pacific Standard is fun with good people, but hell with bad people.

Weirdest thing a couple days ago... I'm gonna laugh if this guy goes to the boards and sees this. I chased this guy back to his apartment casually chucking sticky bombs at him (he had a bounty and I was bored). Got to talking to the guy and he was pretty cool, we ended up visiting each other's garages and taking a cruise (he still had bounty). I stop my car and he jumps out says to kill him. So I chuck a few more explosives, miss, laugh and shoot him in the head and wait for him to respawn. He messages me: "can I kill you too and make it even? I'll make it classy" at this point I'm amused by all this so I said "if you must."

 

He hops in my car and says go to the airport. I did and when we get down there and he's got a crop duster waiting for us, well this should be interesting. He's running across the tops of buildings and acting goofy and then tries to either crash us into a billboard on the interstate or fly us through a tunnel, I'm not sure which one he was going for, but we ended up stuck on the road with cars hitting us. While I'm shooting drivers and moving cars he's apparently sticking bombs on the plane and blows us both up.

 

So we respawn and have a laugh, I get my car and he's... Where did be go? Oh, he's "taking the hill." Walking up the sidewalk with a musket taking potshots at pedestrians. Soon the cops come and we steal the cop car, I'm tossing explosives at everything that moves until we get to an armored police van which we steal. Keep running and gunning and we get to two choppers, we each take one and he says to follow him.

 

So we're skimming along and I'm trying not to get shot down (4 star wanted level at this point) and we get to some little cave on the water that I've never seen before. We both put our choppers in it but I splashed down and we got separated from the server (it said he left, his said I left).

 

I swam around and lost my wanted level in the cave and grabbed a nearby boat to get back to shore. My mechanic wouldn't bring my car up here naturally so I run until I see railroad tracks and hop a train back to LS wondering wtf just happened. Not bad for some guy I tried to kill I guess. At some point I added him as a friend just because the whole thing was so random and amusing. I even have some of it on video, at least the part from the cop car to the time I dunked my chopper in the water.

After a mission streak with 3 level hundreds,everyone decided to log back into freemode. I received an invite for Nurburgring. The host managed to get 14 people in the match and started it. And to my surprise, the host OWNED everyone. I was 50 seconds behind when I finished the race at second place. Last half of the players did not even cross the finish line. I send a good job message and friended him. Surprisingly,he wasn't in a racing crew.

I sent him an in game text, busting him out for having a modded account and his response was "lol u don't know who you're dealing with". After being a smartass like usual his response was "lol ur done bro". Ok, cool, I just went passive and ignored him. Soon after he started sending me messages on Playstation claiming to be from Anonymous. Voice changer an all, saying I needed to follow his instructions or they would "be forced to take action".

 

This is definitely a first for me. I think someone watched one too many troll videos from LT. LICK ME on YouTube.

Honestly no man, I didn't mess with him on the off chance it was legit for all the retarded trolling I do and sketchy friends I have on there lol. I've been thinking about finding a way to get back at him but without going above and beyond like an IP trace I'm lost for ideas.

Today, for the first time I got called a pussy by 3 players for driving a van. Yes, a slow ass van.

Driving around in a van with a person I had just met, I would drive up to people , when they would start shooting at me I would drift 180° (breaking the auto aim), random dude in the back would open the doors and shoot them down.

 

The point is that they kept chasing us, there's 0% logic behind a slow van behind OP...

ON topic: spent about 2 hours trying to complete humane raid, finally completed it with a level 14 who could barely fly a chopper, a level 12 gunner and a level 35 ground team member xD just goes to show level aint everything

Also on-topic: I had an experience the opposite of yours about a month ago. I joined a random Humane Labs Finale, and it was set to hard (40/20 cut) with a level 20, 30 and 40. Im assigned to Pilot, 30 is assigned to Gunner, and 20 and 40 on Ground Team.

 

We get to the Valkyrie, I fly to the yellow circle, and miraculously the gunner doesnt jump. I do my best to keep the helicopter pointed at the enemies, and he obliterates all of them in record time. The ground team also progresses fast through the lab. 10 minutes later, Im landing the helicopter (which took no damage) at the dam. We completed it on our first try, on hard, and it was with 3 low-levels. I was glad to see the +$135,000 for no more than 15 minutes work.

 

That was also my first time actually completing the finale, since most people I end up with die so fast you would wonder if they were doing it on purpose. Interestingly, the most competent players I have met on the Humane Labs Finale were between level 20-60.

I finally encountered my first hacker in GTA:O during a GTA race on some decent jump track blowing up random players. I actually won the race, and second place was 5 years behind me.
