Random act of kindness for the day--

Some kid, who was the lowest level in the session, was hiding out in the north end of the map and decided to go shop for some clothes as I approached to say hi. After a few minutes, I was wondering if he was alright and was going to be able to drive home safely after his shopping spree. Upon inspecting his personal vehicle, I decided that it wasn't as fast as it could be and decided to put some speed holes in his hood. His doors seemed to be slowing him down, so I helped him with that too. Wanting to be sure that his car would pass inspection, I checked if his tires were bulletproof. The first wasn't and neither were the other three.

Figuring that his car was unfit for the road, I gifted him with an RV, and parked it right in front of the door to the clothing store to make sure he could see it.

Just today me and one other guy are trying to kill a bounty and ended shooting each other, and out of nowhere, there's this guy riding his bmx just stopped next to me and just looking at me lol, i didn't kill the bmx guy because well he looks like he is not looking for a fight. The funny thing is that the bmx guy keep ridig around the block and stop near me and the other guy to watch us shooting each other, the other guy didn't kill him either and i found that great that he just let that guy go when it could be an easy kill for him (you know how most stories in this forum are, people just kill others who mind their own business).

Then there's another one, ive just driving around and from a guy passed me then turn around, i stopped and take cover behind my Rebel just in case he try to kill me, he then drove towards me and stopped about 3-4 cars length from me, he just waits there inside the car while i aim my rifle towards him, but i didnt shoot him. So for a minute, we have this awkward face to face encounter between his car to me and my rifle aimed at his window. He ended up dimming his light and drove away as i get into my car and drove away in the opposite direction. That was weird lol

Worst:

I spent like 20 minutes racing to the northern end of the map after receiving an alert that there's an armored truck. I get there 5 seconds too late to find that the money has already been claimed by a lvl 70+ in a police helicopter, so I fire a couple shots as he is leaving. To my chagrin he immediately turns around and lands on top of a warehouse. I foolishly attempt to find a way to get him, and he kills me over and over, making me angrier and vowing to continue until I get him. The score is about 18-0 in his favor by the time I send a msg calling him a coward because he won't come down and face me like a man.

He comes down and proceeds to kill me about 7-8 more times before I acknowledge he is officially my daddy. I then realize I have lost about $45,000 I was saving towards a upscale apartment by continuously dying.

I just hit 50.

Playing around with the Mugger and watching them on TV is probably my newest favorite thing ever.

I didn't know you can see the text in the bottom corner of the screen - oops! I thought it was anonymous. Bounties are also non-anonymous.

So, my upper tier apartment crime anonymous boss dream shall not be realized.

Put the Mugger on a R12 who had a loaned XF. As the player was in the middle of the desert admiring the car, the mugger comes out of nowhere, clocks him, and steals the car. Drives off like a bat out of hell.

R12 grabs the nearest junker and hauls butt after him. Tries to pit him and stop him multiple times, all along the highway, for quite a while. Mugger turns into gas stations, drives around, comes back out, takes off again. Really looks like another player. I didn't know the did all that. Wasn't like a normal NPC car.

R12 finally shoots mugger and takes back the car. I didn't have the heart to send him again.

But it was the finniest thing I have seen in GTA in a really long time.

10 minute cooldown on mugger is way too high.

We should be able to watch remotely with the phone as well as Apartment TV.

Took my buzzard over to the military base to trade in for the lazer jet model and as I am pulling down to land, this random rails into my chopper blades with his titan. He explodes in a fiery ball of wreckage, I land my slightly scratched buzzard and fly away in my new jet doing some celbratory loop the loops. The lulz, oh the lulz.

Played auto-aim deathmatch for the second time in my 91 levels because it's stupid. I just wanted to have some fun so I joined my friends game and they put me on the other team.

I was kicking his butt, and I saw he left the game.

He called me a hacker, and deleted me off his friends list.

What a guy! :)

I think it's because I picked up too much bullshark testosterone and got double damage a lot :D

I'll be your friend til the end....

This isn't a proper story, but picture this in your head:

Hanging out with a bunch of mature, rational guys, doing races and Survival, two kids (son of my friend and the son's friend) take over my mic and start sending rude noises and screaming unintelligible stuff into said mic for ten minutes and messing up controller (causing unintentional deaths and crashes), then said kids drop mic on floor and bolt off somewhere, then me having to try to explain what the f*ck happened after major pile-ups in races and failures in Survival..

How Dynamic Lighting Saved Me

Rockstar needlessly instilled in me Cash Deposit OCD (or CDOCD). So after a series of races, I try to enter freeroam apart from the pack so that I can deposit my winnings in peace. If everyone wants one last Replay, I'll leave early... or if everyone's headed for the lobby, I'll do a solo Parachute mission for the free armor, mental reset, and isolating teleport. I plan and expect to be alone to deposit my cash, peruse my rank unlocks, and see my available jobs.

After finishing up some motorcross races, I spawned into the solitude of the mountains near Fort Zancudo. After a long run of intense racing, my character could have yawned and stretched if possible, before the long shadows stretching across the based of the mountain from the orange and amber light of the approaching dusk.

I glance at the mini-map, expanded mini-map, and Start-menu map to ensure that there are no white dots around me or heading in my direction. Secure in my isolation, I have my head buried in my phone as I deposit my cash. While in the browser I'm hearing the chirp of job alerts and rewarding "dong!" of rank unlocks.

So I back out of my phone to see what I've received and I'm still looking at the ground. Only I am confronted with a shape cast in a long shadow on the ground, that looks suspiciously like the silhouette a man with a rifle!

I instinctually tap R1- sending my character into a low dashing run for cover behind the nearest rock- and that same instant heard a shot whiz by my character and impact nearby. In a blur, I selected my carbine, popped up from cover, and responded with a burst of fire that headshot my would-be assassin.

As I watch his body fall and tumble down the mountain face, I'm exhilarated. I went from banal routine, to a sudden threat that defied the expectation of peaceful isolation, to animal response illicited because Rockstar created a game with enough fidelity that I could respond to a sniper's sunset shadow crossing my path, even if Lester helped that bastard hide his blip.

It was an epic instant.

"How Dynamic Lighting Saved Me" or "The Sniper's Sunset Shadow"

a random with a mg starts trying to shoot me, he gets closer and closer as he tries to kill me with bullets..

finally he shooting me from right below and i make my character smoke.

he switches to sticky bombs but before he can even toss it he gets run over by another random in a SUV being chased by the cops.

after a second i jump down and pick up a free sticky bomb =P

Biohazard Abyss

CLUTCH

Joined The Los Santos Connection on hard with three other players, and ended up being last one alive, and finishing the mission.

They all died during the segment where you have to hack the laptop, so I did my best to destroy the wave after wave of SUVs until they stopped spawning so I could safely hack the laptop. I then stole one of their Grangers because my cute little pink Hot Rod ATV of course would not provide enough cover. I set the waypoint to the ammunation so I could pick up some more body armor and stickies, blowing up 3 more Grangers on the way.

After making my shopping trip, I called for my Snow Rancher XL from my mechanic, and drove it over to the airport. I started from the right side of the hangar, picking off the people in the front, stealing one of the Buzzards. I blasted as many people as I could for like 5 minutes, taking out all the vehicles in the process.

I then called for a backup Helicopter from Merryweather. They make a GREAT distraction so after collecting the coke I was able to safely get back in the Buzzard.

Unfortunately, the supplier had already taken off so I chased him all the way past Fort Zanduco and took him out over a river, flying back to Madrazo's and completing the mission. If it were not for the extra body armor and the Merryweather Copter, I would be 6 feet under.

Best thing is, all 3 guys stayed to watch and liked it :D

Just had a brilliant one. Random free roam dick about. See notification xx has the high priority vehicle.

:D

So I'm obviously now caning like a mofo to the docks. Lester is called and I disappear.

Xx pulls up and gets an auto shotgun to the face.

I jump in the car but, oh no! The police have been alerted! I peel away, stick on a mask to lose a star and start evading the patrol.

Beep. Xx has sent mercenaries after you.

Beep xx has put a 5k bounty on you.

I lose the police and see xx creeping closer. I jump out of the car and send some auto shotty suppression fire his way.

He hesitates and I leap back into the car as merryweather storms into the docks and start pelting me with gunfire.

I deliver the car, which causes merryweather to lose me and walk out of the garage.

Braaap. Xx has claimed the 5k bounty.

Okay. Respawn in passive and start calmly walking towards my personal vehicle.

Brrm. Keep walking. Brrrrrrrrrrm. Keep walking. BRRRRRRRM!!!! Roll to the left taking a knock from the bumper and sprawling on the floor as xx goes flying down the road in a merryweather jeep.

Quickly get up and hide between lamppost and cargo crate.

Start flipping xx off as he tries repeatedly to run me over.

Laugh my tits off as he goes full retard and throws a grenade which I clamber up a crate to avoid.

Police turn up and still he shoots at me until he flees.

Run like mad to my personal vehicle. In. Passive deactivated. The countdown reaches 0 as xx turns onto an interception path. I floor it and begin sending rounds at him. Some hit and he gets out of the vehicle with an assault rifle to end me with auto-aim. I continue firing as I reverse back past him.

MuucavExuled has killed xx

Got quite a few hilarious stories but I'll just share a quick and to-the-point one for starts:

Was doing Martin's "Defender" mission with a buddy when I collide my Buzzer with an enemy buzzer and lose a life. Respawn, hop into a car and try and keep up with the VIP chopper around the Vinewood hills. Meanwhile, my buddy shoots down another enemy chopper, and would you know it, the thing lands on my friggin' head (I'm obviously riding an open-air convertible for added non-safety). I crash my car on a lamp post and lost half my health, and started digesting the notion that what just happened to me was in no way scripted. To the Rockstar sandbox team, I tip my hat to you once again.

Just a little while ago I stole a cargobob from Sandy Shores and flew down to LS, going rooftop to rooftop looking for players to snipe. 20 minutes and zero exploded heads later, I decided to cut my losses, switch sessions, and head back north, where I came across two high rank players battling it out in front of the Sandy Shores Ammunation. Wanting to get a better view of the action, I climbed up a billboard and zoomed in with my sniper rifle. I may have accidentally pulled the trigger 2 or 5 times. One of them finally caught wind of me and came at me with a police cruiser, along with the platoon of police officers that he had alerted. While they were busy making swiss cheese out of him and his rival/accomplice, I jumped down (ouch!),hopped in my Elegy and eventually went to my third and final session.

After getting killed by some angry redneck for commiting the heinous crime of driving by his farm, I eventually made my way into the northeastern part of the city, near an LSC, where I saw what looked like the GTA version of Shaggy from Scooby Doo. Wanting to be sure, I again pull out my trusty sniper rifle and zoomed in. "Yep," I says to myself "that's definitely him!" Being starstruck as I was, I may have pulled the trigger. Ruh Roh!

Wanting to apologize, I made my way down to LSC on foot to make amends in the form of a handshake. Being the klutz that I am, my handshake ended up striking mister Shaggy in the back of the head. He again respawned and began to head the opposite direction of me. Taking it as him playing hard to get, I spent the better part of 45 minutes chasing him around the neighborhood trying to get his autograph. In my zeal, I may have ran him and a few dozen pedestrians over a few times.

Eventually another fan of his showed up in a Buzzard, killed poor Shaggy, then began gunning for me. Clearly he was jealous of me and Shaggy's newfound, one-way friendship, and shot up both my vehicle and my face. I hopped in my damaged, stolen vehicle (Elegy was too far away) and headed for the nearest tunnel I could think of while he circled around, and eventually lost him.

Shaggy's whereabouts are currently unknown, but at least I got to 'meet' him 27 times. ;)

Came across a Titan at the Sandy Shores Air strip and just thought I would fly about for a bit.

  • Fying around for some time enjoying the scenery when a message pops up.
  • Crate drop.
  • As I have a parachute I decide to fly to the site and parachute down.
  • The drop is in a cul-de-sac surounded by hills.
  • I parachute down to one of the hills and use it as cover.
  • I manage to Snipe the 4 cops staking out the package.
  • Run down the hill to grab the package.
  • A Sniper Rifle (I already have - Doh)
  • Run back up the hill and loose the cops.

No gain, but it was fun!

A buddy and I were on the roof at LSC causing trouble for anyone that went in. We put $9000 bounties on each other to get people there. A dude in a jet kept doing fly byes trying to bomb us. After I hit his jet a few times with my AK he started spinning out of control and slammed into a building. Boom I get credit for the kill and to top it off he had a $5000 bounty on his head that I recovered.

1) Some jerk NPC started fighting with me after I finished a Gang Attack. No idea why, he just did. I punched back, got two wanted stars and had a security cop shoot at me. Shot the security cop and took a nearby car. It was a personal vehicle, from an AFK'er close by. Got me away from the cops, and as a thanks, I gently parked it somewhere he could easily find it.

Yesterday I went into a public session, which I only do when I'm expecting complete mayhem. Stole a buzzard, and decided anyone else I saw in the air was getting taking out before they could take me out. Blew up one guy who was also in a buzzard. Blew up another guy in a mallard. A few minutes later I see a bounty on the map and figure I'll go after him. Turns out he was in a buzzard. Boom. Even better, he had 2 comrades in it with him. The triple kill was nice. It gave me some kind of award but I didn't catch what it was fast enough before it disappeared. It was like a crunchy treat with a chewy, 3-man center.

FYI: I just left my crew:LSB (Los Santos Bangers or something like that) because all they do is kill eachother and blow up eachothers cars. If your into co-op and are over 12 yrs of age then stay away from LSB, youl thank me later. Besides, when on missions they seem to be the weakest players out there (not talking about level), they use up lives and dont follow objectives.

Anyone know about a crew where there are mature players? btw, im 39 yrs old and character lvl 58. Thanks

How my bmx helped me

Was on my bmx and suddenly somebody put a 9k bounty on me. Was really far away from my garage, so I decided to evade the bounty by riding the bmx. A minutes later, a car comes. I go into hiding and check him out ( not in that way, you dirty mind) and turns out he was a level 3. I go in front of his car, where he didn't shoot me, but we kept staring at each other. That is, until I go right next to him and show him the bird.

He obviously got really angry.

He tried to run me over but me, still being on my bmx, time my jump so I land on the hood of his car. He looks at me in surprise, wondering how I did it, but again, I show him the bird.

He chases me all over town. I make it the airport. Do you guys know that road like ramp?? Well if you do I cycled my way as fast as I could and the guy, tries to hit me with full speed but misses and goes up high on the ramp. The guy, being a very low level, tries to control his car midair, but due to being a ' Sunday driver', blows his car up and dies. Then I send him a message saying " stupid idiot, you can't a kill a level 61 when you're a level 3" but while I was writing my message, he kills me.

He gets the message and then texts me, saying: WHO HAD THE LAST LAUGH??

We drive around, parachute, do missions, races, and we love to steal lazers from zancudo (dunno why). But we are only on Xbox.
