jln22
Right so I'm one of those guys who has his ears sticking out and to be honest I totally hate it because I can't shave on sides and put a good looking haircut in it. And I came across people with big ears that look comfortable with a short haircut on sides, but I just can't accept it. I don't have money for surgery so I'd probably have to live with them right now. I am sure there are guys who have their ears big/ears that stick out. How do you deal with them? Have you ever been bullied because of your ears? How comfortable are you with them and what haircut do you have? Post a picture people so we can see them. Btw it's just a general talking topic, not about me.

Smith John
Where do you live? If you're in the UK, I believe you can have surgery courtesy of the NHS if you present a serious life-affecting case. bash the fash m8s
universetwisters
It's been a while since I've seen my ears on a daily basis. I only really see them when I'm taking a shower and I put my hair back to wash it. I guess that's one of the benefits of having long hair, it hides big ears

lil weasel
Heard of a guy who super-glued them. The glue lets go in about two weeks when new skin cells grow and the old skin dies. Just one of a page on Google: http://sticky-out-ears.homestead.com/free-cure.html I'll try this thingy when I'll get a short haircut just to see if I'd look better with pinned ears or not. But I guess there's no natural fix to the ears right except surgery. Edited October 21, 2013 by jln22
na89340qv0n34b09q340
I don't know if it'll help, but it really is all in your head. Until High School I had long hair that covered them, but I looked really greasy and ugly with long hair on that body, so I cut it short. It wasn't much of a problem; I was a little bummed about losing the hair I had been growing for three years, but I think I look a lot better with short hair. One thing that helped was looking at other people's ears. Notice how many of them have big (or small, or oddly shaped) ears, and notice that it took looking for them to notice it in the first place. It's such a minor thing to be holding you back. jln22
Finn 7 five 11
If you pin them back somehow they will stop sticking out, or stick out less. I know a couple kids from primary school who used to wear their hats with their ears being squashed outwards and now their ears are always like that, but i'm sure like lil weasel said you could squash them back in, You could wear a head band for a few weeks and see if it makes a difference. Did it, doesn't work. I think the ear cartilage is shaped in the first years of our existence and therefore it's probably impossible to reshape it by tieing a band on your head. I think I became self-conscious at a point, I don't know why, just know that before never had this problem. Oh I can tell you that when I was a kid around 3-4 y/o, my grandmother would call me "Big earred" when she was annoyed. El Dildo
http://sticky-out-ears.homestead.com/free-cure.html wait. seriously? is that real?? it looks like a joke. you're telling me that there's an entire website and support community dedicated to people who 'struggle' with big ears? this is just sad. talk about First World problems... try dumping your issues on someone who was born with a cleft palate (you know, an actual deformity) and see how much sympathy you get. Nobody said it was a serious issue, but if OP is bothered by them it's still an issue. This is probably common sense to most people, but for people who have big ears and don't have cleft palates it's usually an even more important issue to them than cleft paletes. jln22
Yeah probably so you see people with large ears just appeal to this surgery to get them back which makes me even more depressed because I know I can't get the surgery and because people can't live with them the way they are.
