Still massive problems

I'm in rage mode right now so i decided to sign up here and get this off my chest as Gta Online doesn't work at all for me right now.

It seems that for some people it works just fine (some of my friends), and some people have different problems. But I have a lot of f*cking problems with the game right now, so i want to ask you guys if it is THAT bad for anyone else.

 

so let me list all my stupid ass problems

 

-when i start the online mode i either get a time out message or, if i'm lucky, i get on a server... alone... and no one ever joins.

 

-when i join another game/server, either via the menu or friend invite, i get a time out message or when i actually make it onto a server with other players, i get a "kicked out by other players" message, usually after a few minutes.

 

-when i get kicked out of multiplayer, the return to singleplayer is f*cking buggy aswell. sometimes i get infinite sky cams, sometimes i'm stuck under the games world and see everything from beyond. or i end up with my character (sp or mp) unable to move or doing anything and all i can do is escaping by going to the xbox menu.

 

-another thing that happens to me is something i wouldn't even believe a game can do. gta online seems to kick me from xbox live. if i'm not getting "kicked by other players" in freemode, i get disconnected from xbox live only to log myself back in the next moment. but since some more people seem to expirience this, i guess it's due to the stupid game.

 

BUT! all these problems only occure in free roaming. if i manage to join a friends mission lobby, we can have fun for ever, doing races etc. random people joining and its all fine as long as i stay in the same lobby. as soon as i get back to free roam. the annoying sh*t starts over.

 

This is not just a rant but it's my summary of what i think are the worst problems with the game at the moment. (and i got them all. great)

people are complaining about losing a bit progression or some cars. i would love to lose some f*cking cars as long as i would be able to play properly.

These issues plagued me a lot when Online first came out. I changed my Xbox's network settings and gave it a static IP. Since then, I've had no issues. First off, is your NAT open? That could have a huge impact on your connection to other players.

Rockstar support would be a good place to statt. Everything I've read with issues similar to yours have been router/network settings that need to be changed. What specifically, I don't know, but rockstar will.
