Whilst single player story mode is a great game, unfortunately the multiplayer is an unfinished piece of work. Of course with all games that are developed there are bound to be problems. Any reasonable person can understand and forgive this.

But I have to ask why there was no open beta test? Common sense would see the benefits of such action. Minor and major glitches/problems wityh the game could have been drastically reduced. But that is in the past now and nothing can be done to change that, more over its just a suggestion for the future now.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that the game is completely riddled with bugs and more importantly has major economic un-balances. I sincerely believe and I think its safe to say that the obvious problem is everything monetary is geared towards making gamers have to eventually buy cash cards. Someone at Rockstar is not making the right decisions when it comes to how they are implementing changes to multiplayer because of this factor.

To give some examples:

1) you can spend hundreds of thousands upgrading one car but will never see much of a return if you sell it.

2) when i first started playing i immediately thought the cash rewards for missions was extremely low (when compared with prices of everything)

a) now with update1.04 it is halved 50% when you replay

3) Robbing armoured vehicles (thats if you can find one!!) doesn't pay a realistic reward nor is it a difficult task

4) gang fights are just ridiculously low paid rewards and not worth the effort

5) property should have more varied differences in price increments, so instead of $400,000 top priced property i would like to see that extended into the millions to make it harder to attain the best property.

6) not having the stock market is a terrible problem. You need this as it was a massive selling point to the game as well as it being intrinsically important to the economic balance of the game. gamers need the stock market as an option to have a chance at making big money. This is a huge fun and challenging aspect of the game...or should be!

7) Bank heists....red dead broke my heart when i realised there were no bank/train robberies in multiplayer. Currently it is unavailable in gtao, I understand you want to correct the errors first before enabling it. but by not having it in as well as the stock market and all the other major problems makes this potentially awesome game not worth playing at the moment.

I think you need to re-think the economic strategy and raise cash rewards on all levels reversing what it was at launch and you will see the fun aspect put back into the game.

Raise mission rewards 25% higher than when it was at launch and make it possible to make profit from upgrading cars as well as penalising heavily for blowing one up that isn't yours.

Robbing armoured vehicles should pay well and be very difficult to achieve (as it would in real life). Robbing certain types of A.I. citizens should pay more diverse sums of money (it seems everyone is poor in gtao including the AI)

The point I'm trying to make is that by making everthing low paid and easy to complete takes the stimulus out of wanting to do these missions and more importantly the fun and challenge out of the game.

i don't really agree, with some changes... but i can see some logic to it, as long as R* fallows what they claim their gona do. im not against them from lowering the mission payouts.. as long as they act fast and push the " Heists " out quickly.

With that said, i know.. i'll take some flak for being ok with the nerfs, but let me finish... i do think they need to go back n rethink some missions over. but... what they can do currently is to get the " heists " put into the game as fast as they can to help players understand that abit more, incase.. that aspect of the game = huge payouts... lets say "heists" can only be preformed once every 24 hours... or more depending on the payday.

lets say heists are a 1-4 players only.... a bank holding 100k is still 25k each.... which most small branch banks really don't hold much cash in the vaults... so if "heists" have a cool down a player / crew could make some cash back at the current state before the nerfs. But then again, we dont completely know all the different locations of which the heists will partake.

as for the Mission payout / nerfs.. i think the payout should work the same as the heist system... more players = less of a cut, since really... your getting a contract from "said character" and you have an option 1-4 people for the job, so in a sense your contracted out... and you now sub-contracting your friends / crew to help.

with that said.. i think R* just needs to sit down and think about the fairest price of each mission. and to easly combat loners from playing missions solo... they could have a payout system on the number of players in the job, kinda deal. which would help kinda promote the type of play style system they have in place... the good / bad behaviour players.

Or maybe how some people who use the " i don't see the benfit to play free-aim over auto-aim " they could make the Free-aim lobby missions have higher payouts, because it isn't just LT- auto lock- RT.. or L2- auto lock- R2..

and if anyone who knows Free-aim lobbies Npc's have some pretty good aim at times.

I know i play " Free-aim " because of my pride.. i don't want a game to aim for me doesn't matter if its a FPS or anything... it would be nice to have reconigtion of choosing that option, just because "Free-aim" raises the difficultly of all missions...

Again just a suggestion for the " free-aim " payout increase.

Honestly, I didn't read the entire OP, but I got the basic idea. My resonse is this (drum roll, please): this is the open beta test. I think R* took the time to make a foundation, has a lot of great ideas for it that we'll see over time; but it has to be built from the ground up. Right now we're still in the basement.

how is the cash pay out related to your fun?

does it change the missions? no

can you get weapons quicker? no

the only thing it does it , get you a beter car(s) and house

the 400k house, is it beter then the 200k one? no same interior just a different view, wich you hardly will enjoy.

do you spend alot of time in your house ? no

so how does money make the game more enjoyable except being able to buy a supercar and house

you still need to unlock mods , you cant buy skill , so it hardly effects your races

be more about the fun, less about the reward

the whole reason pay outs are nerfed and you pay to start a job if you dont drive to it, so you actually go out in the world and actually do different stuff except hoping lester drops titan of a job and ron base invaders.

i have friends with 10car appartements a supercar, but they only played certain stuff till they could do it in their sleep and "cheated" mod unlocks on the most short racetrack there is.

and now they emo that they cant buy more stuff or bigger houses, and when we do missions they are there first, but also die first because of lack of skill seeing they hardly did something real in gta o

it's not real life no one will bat an eye when a adder drives by, they will lift their guns and try to kill you...

Rewards are far too few. ost players aren't willing to invest that much time into something. Up the rewards, but act quicker to remove exploits. Farming is a valid method of making money, but any decent player will only do it on occassion to increase income and balance it with time spent simply exploring and having fun.

Nice wall of text. I didn't even need to read it to realize you take this game entirely too seriously. Seek professional help.

Yeah, doing missions over and over, just to get a little cash, does get boring. I'd rather go around killing rival crews than just grinding BaseInvaders after the nerf.
