IMO There should be blimp for Personal Vehicle's When...

 

When you get close to them, there should be a different kind of blip that symbolizes other players PV's so you will be careful about destroying them etc.

 

But this only works when they are somehow close to you on your map.Because otherwise everyone will find the abandoned cars and try to steal it etc.

 

The reason why I hope they do this is because you sometimes blow up a PV without doing it on purpose. Mainly because you didn't know it belonged to someone or you didn't see it from a distance etc.

 

What do you feel about it, would like to see this feature? This way you will have the option to "not" to destroy them because you see them on your map that they are PV's.

 

EDIT: I did this thread because I hate becoming bad sport on "Accident"

 

Please also tell why you choosed NO if you picked NO.

2) Johnny: "Hey man, let's drive to that Mission for no reason"

Tyler: "Okay man, I'll go get my vehicle"

Johnny: "No, no, I can see it in my mini-map, let's just both walk there instead of you just picking me up and making the trip start faster"

Tyler: "..."

 

3) Personal Vehicle? *spawns Cargobob out of ass* Not yours anymore!

 

4) Personal Vehicle? *gets multiple Buses to block it* Not yours anymore!

 

5) Personal Vehicle? *drives it to an ocean because owner forgot to lock it* Not your anymore!

 

6) Personal Vehicle? *a wild Rhino appears* *Rhino uses Cannon!* *It's super effective!* *Rhino uses Run Over!* *It's even more effective!*

Also Bad Sports would not stop... hmm, let me count... 5 of 6 things I said there. I don't know whether Cargobob causes bad sport. But yeah Rhino does, I give you that.

whenever I blow up a personal vehicle it's not because I don't know, it's because i'm trying to kill the guy inside

Ok For example, you are driving a tank, and you saw a car from far away you shot it thinking its not a PV and It actually turn out to be a PV. You get Bad sport sign. And also you can't always know if its PV or not, some people don't customize their cars enough.

I really wouldn't quite call this an idiotic post. Some form of identifying the NPC vehicles and player vehicles does have some precedent.

If you really want to screw someone over, you pop every tire on their PV. No bad sport for you AND they can't simply reclaim, they have to drive it all the way over to the LSC to repair. But then there's the bullet proof tires.

Half the fun we have is owning crappy cars and putting ignition bombs in them.

 

Other players don't know they are player cars so have no worries taking it.

A random person helped me do a gang hideout thing, then he stole my car, after a few seconds, i locked him out of my vehicle, he got mad and destroyed my car...
I followed him to his garage and planted a sticky bomb, when he got out of his garage... boom

only time i destroyed someones personal vehicle.

That would make the ignition bomb pointless to use on randoms... It's so much fun seeing blow up that guy who thinks he just found a really cool car nearby. You just hide and watch the boom.

I'm not against it, but it'd be far down on my wishlist. Not even top 100.

There's too much clutter on minimap, as is, anyway.

They need to do something. My suggestions are:

 

- Make them indestructable by other players.

- Wrecking them has no penalty (my choice)

- Wrecking them when you're broke gives you bad rep since you can't pay for it.

 

I feel like it's a stupid game mechanic as it is now. Frankly, you have a garage to store your cars so put them in your garage if you aren't using them. That's what we do in real life. If someone hates you enough to rig your car with a bomb then you shouldn't have left your car there to get rigged in the first place, tough bananas. This whole punishment for blowing up cars is lame in the gta world.
