Room empties of all players randomly?

It's happened to me before. I think it might be like the langoliers, and in reality, we're the only ones leaving. The rest probably keep on playing just fine.

 

Had problems with an unstable internet connection (router problem it seems) and had this issue almost everyday. Liked that movie btw!

Only once for us, in a full 4 player party. From our end, she left, with the message "xxxxx left" or whatever the correct spelling is. To her end, we all 3 left at the same time - our chars left cover and walked. It happened only once in patch 1.03.

 

We were STILL in the survival and she was STILL in the survival - it was like the game split group into 2 identical sessions.

yes , I remember that, couldn't understand what was going on lol. Every now and again it happens where everyone leaves at once.

Yeah, if you're familiar with IRC, I believe this is the GTA equivelant of a netsplit.

Back in my IRC days, we called this a net-split. Its happened to me several times, sometime half the lobby goes sometimes all of it. I attribute it to network stability / server issues. I doubt that on R*s end we are connecting to an individual physical server. Its more likely an instance if a game server (software) running on a cluster of physical or virtual servers. I imagine that glitched load balancing could cause this to happen. Could also simply be your local provider or anything in between.

You posted after about a half dozen answers. It is a brief lapse in connection on your part. Longer lapses that dont reconnect quickly get the message and a complete kick from session.

It's happened to me a couple of times. Right after everyone gets kicked, Armoured Trucks start to spawn, like within a split second of everyone being kicked.

Well you have been given the correct answer even if you don't like it. Not sure what other answers you expect and why you felt it was necessary to necro this thread.

 

Whenever I try to type Necro in my phone it tries to autocorrect to necromunda. That's awesome.

Happens quite a bit to me, but if i rejoin friends the room is exactly the same as it was before i left...

 

With people saying it's your own internet problem - if people have open settings and far better connections than the majority but still have problems like those with less, how is it on our end?
