Voltic, anyone plan to buy it ?

i do love my voltic but i tend only to use it in FM, my entity is used for racing as i found when ive had a good run of racing the same track with the same racers (the commute with some firends) my entity performs sooo much better and the voltic jsut doesnt quite keep up...

 

that said in FM its nippy as hell and good for weaving between traffic, so i prefer to leave my entity at home... my only problem is i dont have enough slots in my garage... i would ideally like to have a race garage, for race only cars, one in each category, that i rarely if ever use in FM, then a seperate 6 car garage for my regular FM cars (which i vary depending on missions i do) based on fun and looks

I love my Voltic, Just like Lagful I struggle to go round corners with it, but that means that we can be Driving School Brothers! I would highly reccomend it if you aren't a spastic behind the wheel (i.e. me) My one came with the Black roof, I didn't know that there were other possibilities, I think it looks gorgeous with any colour scheme, sans chrome...

Best thing about the Voltic, its goes damn near full speed in REVERSE! Try it sometime.

My biggest gripe with the voltic is that you don't have the option for 'turbo tuning' in LSC.

 

Kinda makes sense being how it's powered by an electric motor, but less so when you CAN turbo tune various muscle cars and then add a hood air intake which would only be an option with a super charger IRL..

 

IMO the lack of turbo tuning makes max upgrade voltic, vs other maxed super cars, a very sad panda

 

And the max speed in reverse is great until the 'steering physics' steps in and translates the slightest stick movement into a j-turn

I find the Voltic awfull. The handling is so bad IMO. Even the Comet handles better.

I find it to be a poor man's Entity. I think it handles okay, it just feels like the thing is made of cardboard - the slightest bump or sharp turn, and you're rolling all over the place. I make the Entity comparison because the back is "bulletproof", so if you want an Entity for that reason, this car will save you some dolla.

You shouldn't buy it for racing, but it's one of my favorite cars in the game. I love the shiftless acceleration. Kept stock it's a perfect daily driver.

I have a Voltic on storymode, matte muted green and grey wheels, looks very mean. Which it deserves, because fully tuned, its RAPID and handles sogood, feels so light... And it has quite a unique noise.

 

Its a cool change feom the usual anyway. Dunno if I'd buy one online though, especially for 150k

The Voltic is the only super I use regularly. The Entity is just too cliche and trendy for me.

Too light.... that's why I got rid of it and top speed
