Benefactor Surano - Nice stats on paper, terrible handling in practice

Was thinking about getting one as an alternative to the obvious choice (Carbonizarre) as I prefer the looks and find the Carbonizarre quite boring. It's also cheap at 100k.

IGN have the stats listed as: 8.3 / 3.3 / 8.5 / 7.7

The Carbonizarre stats are: 8.5 / 2.7 / 8.8 / 7.2

So I went ahead and purchased one with Michael to test it out and found it handled horribly despite the 7.7 rating.

Has anyone got one in online? Does anyone rate it? I suppose Michael's driving stat could be low and it might handle a lot better in online + get damaged less quickly.

Would really like some feedback - I'm looking to get a sports car I can mod and use to win races.

I'd go for a Shafter, this thing is FAST. Here is a picture of Gay Tony with his.

I AM SORRY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO, BUT MY WEBCAM IS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH.

Stick with the Grotti. If you really don't like it, get the Rapid GT or Coquette. Both similar price ranges and better stats

Glad to see you're enjoying the role playing aspect, although Gay Tony's Schaft is a Sedan if I'm not mistaken?

Oh, i'm sorry, you did say sport class.

In the sport class, a Grotti is unbeatable but if you want to be different, you can go for a 9F Cabrio, it is a bit harder to handle but still very competitive.

Does the Coquette handle well? Rapid GT could be an option although again it's not really very exciting in the looks department.

Hmm Grotti really does seem to be the best available.. Shame really. What about the Feltzer?

Feltzer is ok.

If you are looking for just pure statistical winning you cannot beat the Grotti, but personally i'd rather be unique.

I can tell you a 9F is fast as hell but the handling Is worse than a Grotti even though the stats say it is better - You slide out more if you are not a good driver (i'm horrible).

Honestly i'd just go with what you like and what you think looks cool. When everything is fully modded a race is more about who crashes, who makes a mistake, and who is slipstreaming rather than raw car statistics.

Yeah I've tried the 9F and am not the best driver either so I really need something that grips the road as well as possible to compensate for my poor cornering etc.

If I can't find anything I like the look of with slightly sub-Grotti stats then I guess I'll go for the Grotti. I'll probably try the Surano out again with Franklin just to be sure though as it's my favourite in terms of appearance.

Once you can get the later suspension upgrades it holds the road a lot better (the Surano) every now and then it'll still go sideways but it makes it more fun to drive IMO. If not that then I'd pick the Feltzer. The Coquette is similar to the Surano, slides everywhere until you get used to it.

Cheers for that, I'll be giving the Surano an extended test drive shortly and if I'm still skidding all over the place then I'll try the Feltzer.
