How do you request specific missions?

I read about people repeating missions from Trevor etc. But how do you do that? When I call them I just seem to get a random job?

you can't pick...it's all random.

You delete the mission and try again in a few minutes. You currently can't pick a specific mission.

Whenever you "unlock" a new mission giver as a contact, keep waiting until they give you a mission you like before doing it.

 

As long as you never do a different mission for them, you will get that first mission every time you call them.

There's only a small selection in my list, with none of the 'npc' given missions.
