Just a quick question. I've been busting my ass trying to get a police granger and I've finally got it. Question is, could I have just gotten the normal granger to have people hang off the side? If so I just did a whole lotta work for nothing lol.

Very awesome car nether the less.

Yes the people hanging on the side works with the normal granger aswell, the difference is just the flashing lights.

 

A common misconception though is that the Granger (Police or Civilian) can hold 8 people total, not just 6. 2 on EACH side hanging.

Civilian Granger is better in every way, except for the flashing lights.

Well balls...

I'll keep the police one for now and buy the civvi one later, thanks everyone for the heads up though .

Yup. Plus a normal G-Ranger,lol, can be modded.

Civ one has armor, window tint, and turbo, engine, transmission and suspension. It is faster and superior in every single way.

 

Don't say the Sherrif SUV is better because I have BOTH in my garage, and I can tell you right now the Civ is 10x's better

Stock, each variant is the same. However the real strength in the Civilian one is moddability. While I enjoy rushing up on someone with my pretty flashing lights shelling out rounds from my M4, the SUV's performance is nothing too impressive stock, as with the Civilian variant. But being that Civilian is more moddable, you can improve its performance by investing your money into it and making it statistically better than it's police counter-part.

 

While the Granger is not going to help you chase a bounty on a highway in Blaine County driving a Cheetah regardless of what mods you put on it, the Granger provides an advantage for the less mobile being that granger passengers on the sides can use larger weapons like the M4 while the driver keeps up the mobility providing a cover in it's own respect.
