Anti-Tank Tactics

1) Stickybombs don't work, placed 3 on the side. Not even scratch.

2) Got a buzzard, missiles don't lock on, bullsh*t. But got on a roof and launched grenades, once again no scratch.

3) Crashing a jet into the tank, no luck.

4) Forcing him to destroy my suped up entity...

5) Some succes with the sniper rifle from a roof top, waiting to level up to get the RPG and Heavy sniper.

 

Anyone a good tactic besides another tank?

2.Passive Mode + Off the Radar(Optional) + Turn off Passive Mode + Hijack(hold y on xbox)

It would be nice to be able to blow the tracks off with a sticky bomb and explore the expression " sitting duck". Butt I'll try the highjack.

Dunno about you guys but here is my method

1.Off the Radar + 6 stickies or more grenade launcher rounds for good measure.

 

2.Passive Mode + Off the Radar(Optional) + Turn off Passive Mode + Hijack(hold y on xbox)

 

3. Off the Radar + Hijack(hold y on xbox)

 

I haven't tried hijacking a tank though, I'm just assuming you can hijack one from what I've read from here. http://gtaforums.com/topic/629843-how-to-deal-with-tank-griefers/ Also because you can hijack vehicles, I assume you can hijack the tank.

 

But Method 1 truly works, I just did that a week ago.

Jump on top of it and stomp it until dead.

Two people and a chopper, the pilot stays above an azimuth of 45 degrees from the tank. The pax sits in the rear of the chopper and uses a heavy sniper. This should work. ( press y when standing next to the pilot gets you in the back).

Anyone tried this?
