No one cares about lack of game modes?

I can't believe that with all the moaning about Bad Sport, glitches, money etc, and no one is moaning about the biggest problem of all ... lack of game modes!

 

Where is Cops 'n Crooks, Turf War, etc, etc, etc..?

Although I didn't play much of them in gta4 or tbogt and I love griefing in the tank or buzzard in tbogt, I'm getting fairly bored of lobbies full of people hiding in their apartments or just doing f*ck all in such a big map.

 

I think they desperately need to add more game modes that can actually have full lobbies.

 

Still haven't seen a full death match or race.

I think this is the least of most player's problems with all the other issues currently overshadowing MP, even though I agree that online mode is lacking a variety of game modes (including interiors and activities.) In time once everything's settle down then this should become a higher priority on R* list.

But most players' problems revolve around things that effect their rank, such as the ones I mentioned above. I don't f*cking care about my rank, and never have. I would sooner enjoy playing endless CnC games as apposed to playing endless Hangmans Noose (or modern equivalent) just for the sake of being able to buy a f*cking apartment and have a high number next to my name.

 

And the game has been out 3 weeks now, time enough to sort the f*cking problem out.

Agreed, its a pretty embarrasing offering to be honest.

Its not the glitches that annoy me but the huge lack of content.

There should be turf wars against rival crews, being in a crew means nothing either.

massive let down, i think rockstar should get another company to delelop the mp side of things, or at least make the most of the pc and develop it how it should have been on there.

I can't believe they didn't add Cops n Crooks. Wasn't that the most popular game mode in IV? It was my favorite. At least they are adding Capture the flag, although I'm sure that will be a pain in the ass and won't get us much RP or cash lol.

Plane/boat/car/bike races, Team/Deathmatch(Regular and Last Man Standing), versus missions, survival, parachute jumps, regular missions, vehicle deathmatches (jets is my favorite), GTA races, Rally races, golf, darts, tennis, etc.

I'd say there's quite a few game modes. Though I do miss Bomb Da Base and Cops and Crooks. Oh, and freerunning races, where you pulled a Canonball run and tried to get to the end any way you could.

Eh, there's enough there to keep me going until the content creator lands or Rockstar release more modes, whichever comes first.

Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Races (and then there's variety within all of those), missions, parachuting, tennis, golf, darts, armwrestling, one on one deathmatches, instant race, high value cars for Simeon, crate drops ... That's a lotta stuff to do for just the start of Online.

They already have these types of game modes.

 

They have Hunter / Runner missions, as well as missions where one team has to escort a VIP to a location whilst the other team has to stop them. They also have missions where teams fight over a particular vehicle / item....which in essence is Capture the Flag.

If GTA Online game modes stayed like they are now, I wouldn't get bored of the game for a couple of years at least...maybe i'm easily pleased, either that or people are just spoiled these days, too high expectations etc. [see the thread here where someone wanted CRICKET to be in the game for f*ck's sake...]. I don't care about grinding for RP or $, just having a good time.

What on earth is the point of adding game modes when the matchmaking is 100% broken. THAT is what everyone should be talking about as it is the biggest problem in the game right now by far. Much greater than the glitching problem in my opinion.

 

We have tons of DM, Races, and Team Games, but after 3 weeks it's literally IMPOSSIBLE to get a full game going. A lot of the team game modes seem fun, but I'll never know because I haven't been able to play 90% of them!

I hate LTS, no I'm not sh*t at this game but after 1 minute if loading, 1 minute of lobby, 30 seconds of gameplay, another minute of lobby's, then everyone leaves
