Insurance system is dumb. I can't enjoy my Entity due to it.

Didn't want to start a new topic, so figured I'd just add on to this one.

 

With the new insurance system, I expected to be safe (as far as paying out) when some tool killed me, then proceed to blow up my Elegy. So I respawn, kill him, and call insurance. Says I still had to pay something like $1178 to get my car back. Was he charged anything or did I pay the full amount?

You can "buy" your Elegy again for free lol and ...

... no one understands the f*cking point here. His point is that the person's bank account, who blew up his car, should have gone into the negative, instead of him paying for the rest of the car. R* fails. Don't tell him not to use his car or go into an invite only lobby -_-

I agree with OP, they should be put into a negative balance, i think that would help with the economy as well

I agree, why should I pay for someone else negligence. It reminds me of an incident earlier where my friend was driving and someone blew his car up with a sticky caused the guy to have his own car blow up for driving to close when exploding the sticky. My friend received a bad sport warning... doesn't really make sense in my opinion.

a simple fix to most of the problems including bad sport bullcrap, is when you put an armor upgrade on your vehicle, you should also withstand explosive damage. level 1 armor = withstand 1 explosive, level 2 armor = withstand 2 explosives ect ect....

No. I should be able to drive my car around if I want. If someone blows it up, it's OK as long as THEY PAY FOR IT, not me.

How often do you see a supercar tooling down the street IRL? Or parked in the employee lot? Not often, and for a reason - they're too damned expensive to fix if they get hit by some idiot.

Here is the solution:

 

If you destroy your car, you pay full insurance fee

If someone else destroy your car, he pays full insurance + additional fee (like double of the value)

 

Yesterday i got my entity destroyed (ok, by a stupid friend) and i needed to pay full fee while him didnt pay anything.

Really weird.
